After saying goodbye to his friends and family, Miika headed out onto route 1. He had gone many times to that route, the only one actually, when he had no pokemon but he had never progressed far like he was doing today. Miika looked back so he would see his town one last time before coming back, stronger than ever. “Goodbye!” He said as he smirked and turned to go ahead.
The place was rather common. There were some trees scattered here and there and grass everywhere while Miika was walking on the path. He had his backpack with him, the one that the professor had given him. As he walked for a bit whistling a song, Miika suddenly stopped. The pokeball were Gibb resided was moving. “What the hell..” Miika said. He had never see a pokeball move.
Taking it out from his pokeball hostler, whom Miika had put on his belly, he took it closer to his face to see what was going on. “What the—“He said when suddenlt the ball burst open, hitting Miika on his forehead. The Gible was finally free and he began looking around and talking like crazy, “Gible, Gible Gib!” He said frantically as he saw his surroundings.
“Damn you Gibb! That’s the second time you hit me.” Miika said as he remembered what had happened in the lab. “Gib!” Gible said as he held his mouth open, looking directly at Miika. “What..?” Miika asked. Gible was extremely calm, not like his usual self. Then, Gible’s eyes turned to the left, were there were some trees. “Oh no..don’t do it.” Miika said. He knew what was going on.
In the same instant Gible began running towards the trees and Miika was behind him. “Damn you come here!” He said as he followed the Gible. “Gible Gible Gible!” He was laughing looking at Miika from behind. “Hey be careful!” Miika exclaimed. “Gib-“ As soon as he saw in front of him, a tree appeared and there was no time dodge it. Gible hit the tree full on as he made some leaves fall.
“Ahahahah” Miika burst out laughing. “That’s what you get for making fun of me!” However the Gible didn’t seem hurt as he got up immediately and then like trying to say he was ok he exclaimed “Gib!” looking sideways. “Of course you’re ok!” Miika said. “You’re my pokemon.”

Leaves hadn't been the only thing to fall from the tree. In a flurry of yelps and squawks a bird had fallen as well. This one unlike its close cousin pidgey had a bit of color to it. A deep red covered its underbelly. Not to mention its eyes were a bright green. Quite different from the brown, grey, or black that dominated his species eye color.
Turning himself over so the world was no longer upside down the Spearow's shape was now visible in the browning leaves. Squawking curses that were barely auduible the bird poked its head out of the pile of leaves and fixed Gibb with a angry stare. <Watch where you put that big head of yours NUMBSKULL.> Lifting a wing he sent a cloud of leaves toward the dragon type, before extracting himself from the pile and sighing. That tree had been so shady now he had to find another one. Dreadful humans and their stupid pokemon!
Blowing some dirt from his beak the Pidgey waddled onward. Amazed that the yelling that boy did hadn't already made every pokemon in the vicinity deaf, his ears felt very abused right now, and raw! Stupid Gible with its iron flat head and lack of any brains to go in uit!

“You damn peacock!” Gibb shouted at Spearow though one could ask why he used that name. “You dare mock me and think you can walk away? I’ll fight you! Gibb exclaimed.
“Ah sorry.” Miika said to the spearow. “Come on Gibb get inside, we’re moving.” Miika said as he readied his pokeball but he saw that Gibb was not moving. Instead he was staring intensely at the spearow. “I see, you want to fight him don’t you?” Miika said as he smirked. He saw the Gibb nod his head.
“Alright then get ready!” Miika shouted as Gibb put on a fighting stance.

<I wouldn't want to waste my time.> The Spearow mocked. Shaking as head as he turned around ignoring the conversation the two idiots were having. Then his ears caught the word 'fight'. Followed by two other words 'Get' and 'Ready'. It would have been much smarter if they hadn't spoken their plans aloud. Of course these two didn't come off as smart, not at all. So he wouldn't hold it against them if they decided to mess their own chance of a win up.So what if he was ony level four?He was a tough level four, and could make this sand trap eat leaves any day of the week.
Yet he gaave no sign that he had heard them, none at all. But he had and he was ready. The muscles that powered his wings had stiffened, and ere ready for a quick flight.Directly in front of him was a tree, a LARGE tree. That boy was stupid, and hopefully he wouldn't see through this rather obvious ploy. Turning his head slightly upward he seemed to question the sky: 'Whyy not a challenge? Why two brash numbskulls who can't even find out the differenc between me and a peacock?' Surprisingly enough the sky chose not to reply back.

“Let’s go!” Miika shouted at Gibb who was ready. “Use sand-attack!” Miika said to him. Gibb began dashing towards the spearow. Once he was close enough he stopped his movement and proceeded to use the attack indicated by Miika. All in all it seemed like Miika was not so stupid. He had expected him to say use tackle but Miika had a plan. Once he used sand-attack, Gibb would use tackle to tackle spearow. A nice combination indeed considering that they were the only attacks Gibb knew for the moment. Of course, he would get stronger with time.

The Spearow to had been expecting a tackle attack. So the order had confused him more then a little. His wings remained at his side, what use were they in a sand aattack. Hearing the Gible approach he whirled, both eyes closed and struch out, the sand dug in other his feathers, causing his attack to be one more of anger then of thinking. Anything to make that little beast stop blowing sand in his eyes! At least it didn't do him any permanent harm, like atackle from that arrow shaped head would do when the order was called. Would his old idea to deal with a tackle still work? (Count your wrods and post the result at the bottom of your posts.)

It seemed as the attack worked but not fully. The spearow had been able to defend against the sand in the last moment. “Genius!” Miika exclaimed, happy for the strategy he had chosen. It seemed as Gibb was happy too, although there was no time to relax. The spearow still had his eyes closed and if Gibb did attacked him now there was a chance of succeeding. And that’s what Miika was thinking too. “Go Gibb! Tackle!” He said as he weaved his hands in the air. He was very excited to have his very first pokemon battle. Gibb instantly rushed against the spearow, his head straight at the spearow’s body. However Gibb was no stupid pokemon, even if it didn’t look like it. He had already crashed into a tree and he was not someone who would make his mistakes twice. If the spearow would somehow be able to dodge his attack, Gibb would use the tree as a catapult, jumping with his legs on it and attacking spearow in the air. Oh yes! That would be something he would not expect.

The spearow heard the attack being called. Glad the sand was no longer spinning he launched himself into the air. His wings flapping as he sneered at the Gible. That thing was to stupid not to run into that tree.If he somehow managed to do something other then hurt himsef then the Spearow was ready with another idea. Taking a deep breath he watched in greedy anticipation, hopefully something interesting would happen. More interesting then what had been happening and him falling out of a tree.

“Be careful Gibb!” Miika screamed from far. He saw the spearow take off and was afraid that Gibb was gonna hit the tree. How stupid of him of not noticing the tree! However Gibb already saw the tree and was ready to give the spearow the biggest scare in his life. Seeing as the spearow flew up, Gibb run towards the tree and when mere centimetres were separating them, he jumped, while his legs touched the wooden surface, he used his legs to catapult him towards the spearow. He would use tackle too now. Miika saw with amazement what Gibb had done. He had done well to choose him. ---------- Total Words: 390

The Spearow managed to clumsily pull himself out of the way. Not bad, not bad at all on the numbskulls part. Now it was his turn! Spreading his wings he plummeted towards the Gible, his claws outstretched. Then he flipped over and brought his beak down in a barrage of pecks, around where the flying Gible's head had formerly been.

Gibb had to admit it; this spearow had speed and very good reflexes. Not only was he able to dodge Gibb’s tackle but he was also able to dodge him in the air. Now he was in a bad situation. He was in the air and that was this god damned spearow’s territpry. He could hear Miika from far apart scream “Defend!” But he already knew this. There was nothing more he could do. He would defend against the peck which should not do much damage since Gibb was in the air. He would defend in the position so the spearow would hit the shark-like pin more than the rest of the body. After all he was a dragon, there might be a small chance of his peck hurting but who know. Gibb was also ready to fall on his feet when he would meet the ground. ------ TW: 537

The spearow shivered slightly as his beak crashed into the fin that topped the Gible's crown. Pulling his beak back he scowled. Pulling all of his scorn inti his eyes he let out a angry glaring stare.(Leer) This stare damned the Gible to hell, for ruining his nice little nap. Damn Gible. They were both nearing the ground, so with a flap of his wings the Spearow put himself aloft again, and slowly began circling the Gible, at about Miika's shoulder height. Taunting and grinning the entire time.

It worked! Gibb thought it out right. The spearow’s peck just wasn’t strong enough to hit on Gibb. Gibb fell down on his legs and he saw the spearow get furious. His glare was serious and it looked like he would attack with all his force. “Wait Gibb!” Miika screamed from away. What do you want now? I’ll solve this out by myself![/b] Gibb remarked. He didn’t want Miika to tell him what to do. “Stay still!” Miika said. What? But I have to attack this guy now before he attacks me. Unless..” Gibb’s eyes opened in realization. Since the spearow was looking at him so fiercely that meant that he was preparing for a big attack on Gibb. He would wait for the attack, dodge, and then tackle spearow. Yes, that’s how he would do it.
“Hehe, what’s up? Hurt your peck?” Gibb mocked spearow. ------------- TW: 683

With a glare at the trainer the Spearow folded his wings in close to his body. Then like a feathered bullet streamed towards the Gible. A small pocket of air formed right above his beak, hit or miss this was going to be fun! Twisting his head ever so slightly as he neared the Gible he hoped to land a decent hit. His chest and shoulder joints were already sore from all the wing pumping, and quick moving he had to do. He wasn't used to that. He was much more used to sitting in a tree al lday and squawking rude comments at everyone that decided to walk by. That was loads of fun, this on the other hand was hard! Very hard.
He wasn't about to give up and let this little snot nosed dragon win though! Nope. Even if he hated fighting and conflict in general! Nope.Upon hearing the comment he scowled manageing to tear a few words out from his bak. <Nope, hurt your brai--oh nevermind"

Just as expected! Spearow dove towards Gibb and in that moment Miika screamed “Gibb dodge!” Gibb could not help but sight in his mind. He already knew that. There was no need for Miika to tell him what to do. As spearow got close to him, Gibb jumped some centimetres back so spearow would hit the ground. “Good! Now use tackle!” Miika said cheerfully. For Gibb it was very annoying for it looked like he was obeying Miika’s commands when in fact he was doing his own game. It annoyed the hell out of him that Miika had the same mind as him, but he would not accept that human as his master. Gibb was glad he was finally out of the lab but Miika just wasn’t strong enough to command him. At least, that’s what he though for now. Gibb dashed towards the spearow, his pin forward with the intention of hitting him full on. ------ TW : 839
