After leaving the Lab, Sky decided to let the Gible inside her only Pokeball out to give him a nickname. She threw the Pokeball out a bit in front of her, when a Gible popped out. Sky grinned, "Hey!" she said, before the Gible heisitantly made his way to her. Then Sky tried thinking of a name, until she thought of her own, "Cloud!" she decided to call the Gible. He looked at her with a bit of confusion, but accepted it nonetheless. Sky laughed a bit at Cloud's confused face before letting him walk with her. She let him walk by her side, though kept a close eye on Cloud in case he wandered off, "Alright Cloud," Sky began, and the Gible looked at her, "we're going to Route One, and it's likely we're going to meet up with another Pokemon or trainer," she explained, "so you're going to probably battle; so don't be surprised if I tell you to attack another Pokemon, okay, Cloud?" Sky had to make sure the Gible would learn his name, so she was going to try to use 'Cloud', in most of her sentences toward him. Cloud nodded, though had no idea what in the world she meant. Sky smiled and took out the map to try and find Route One, just in case she got lost.
Soon, after reading the map, Sky found herself on Route One, since the map showed. She smiled victoriously, and Cloud followed behind her, though he still was a bit uncomfortable of his surroundings. In fact, he wanted to Tackle something, though he wasn't sure what the human would do if he did. Sky looked at Cloud, and decided to sit down and have a chat with him. She sat down on some Tall Grass and had Cloud sit right across from her, "You're probably feeling a bit confused that you left the Lab, but no worries," Sky smiled, "my name is Sky, your new trainer, and I'm going to make sure that you'll be quite strong, Cloud," she took his small arm, "I hope we'll be close friends, Cloud," Sky shook his arm as a handshake and leaned back a bit. Cloud just looked at Sky and compiled with whatever she wanted to do, though he did perk up at the sound of 'strong' and attempted a smile, which he saw Sky do quite often.

The route was surprisingly quiet today. Many of the pokemon were inclined to curl up in the warm sunshine and watch the trainer go by. Above their head shadows were visible. Flying types of course. The loud squawks of the birds were not understandable tto a human like Cloud but to the Gible they might have been. IF he could hear them anyway, the wind was tugging playfully at their squawks distorting them. <Don't know whick one's uglier the human or the dragon.> Then all three birds stopped, lifting wings and patting the last remaining one on the soulder they flew off. Shaking their heads and offering wishes of the best luck. And if not the best good luck anyway.
The red breast of the spearow was obvious as he turned around. both of his eyes fixing the trainer and pokemon with a look of wonderment. At why they were still standing there of course!O how much he wished the had walked off so he could claim to have done this, with no one the wiser. Oh how he wished to be back in his nest in the sunlight. Glancing back and forth to make sure his friends were gone he landed on a branch above the sitting pair's heads. Shakily he offered a greeting. <Hello---I cha-llenge you to a battle--.> He was as new at this as the Gible. Above his friends had returned and were shaking their heads, they hd told him to wait for something with less armor, a furred beast mayhaps. A grista or a Cleffa. No he had to choose the Gible because it looed confused; labbers caught on much quicker to battling then the wild pokemon did, the trainers idea no doubt. Now what was his attack again? Peck right? Or was it scratch?Or tackle? [/blockquote]

Sky thought she heard a distorted kind of yell, or Pokemon, though the sound was too distorted to really hear it. Not really caring, Sky shrugged and just looked around herself. The plains did seem peaceful today, and it made Sky both sleepy and peaceful at the same time. The reason for her being sleepy was the fact the the atmosphere was wanting to make her just laze about, not really accomplishing much. The peaceful part was because the weather was great and the grass looked so comforting. She looked at Cloud, and though the little Gible looked like he wanted to do something active, Sky just leaned back on a nearby tree, "Aren't you tired, Cloud?" she asked him, out of his reaction and to see if they could both kinda sleep a bit. Of course, Sky wouldn't sleep here forever; that wouldn't be nice. But, maybe just a little relaxation time could be obtained; the other Pokemon here didn't look like they wanted to fight anyhow.
Cloud, on the other hand, saw Sky's face go into the emotion like she was asking a question, or something. Though when he saw her lean back, he started wondering how he was supposed to get strong, by just sleeping all day. In his confusion, Cloud shook his head, as a 'no', though he didn't even understand what in the world his trainer asked of him. Then he saw her eyes slowly coming down to make the journey, which made Cloud spring to action. <What are you doing?! This is no place to sleep!> The atmosphere actually didn't make him tired at all, really, since the wind was bothering him either way from sleeping in the first place.
Sky shot up, and felt something on her lap... Her eyes were wide open when she saw Cloud right on it, looking like he was yelling at her or something. This made Sky jump up a bit enough to stand, Cloud dropping off, though she looked at him with her own confused face, "How can you fight, if that's what you're insinuating?" Sky questioned calmly, "There's no wild Pokemon who'd want to interrupt there own little rest--" Sky was interrupted by a nervous squawk or something while she was talking to Cloud. And there, behind Cloud, was a Spearow.
Cloud saw Sky's mouth move, though could not understand what she was saying, besides hints from her facial expressions. From them, he could guess that she was questioning him again, though now, she was standing, and the Gible didn't know what to answer back to her. Just then, Cloud heard a shaky squawk, which caused him to turn around right when his trainer stopped talking. When Cloud understood the squawk as a request for battle, he looked to Sky with his teeth bared, in hopes of her knowing that the Spearow wasn't there for playtime. After his little antic, Cloud looked at the Spearow <Um....> Cloud started out; he had no idea what to say to the fellow before him.
Sky saw Cloud's teeth bared, which she at first took as a warning for running away. Though when she broke it down for some moments, Sky realized that it was indeed time for a battle, which Cloud looked so ready for. Thinking of the attacks that Cloud knew, which were only two, being easy to remember, Sky nodded and smiled at Cloud. She then backed up a bit a fair distance before thinking of what to do, "Alright Cloud!" Sky shouted, "Attack the Spearow with Tackle!" she called out to him.
Cloud heard Tackle, thankful that it was a move he knew. Almost as if it was by instinct, he charged toward the Spearow for a Tackle.

The spearow shuffled awkwardly along the branch. The tiem between Cloud's acknowledgement of his feathered sself, and the humans call of attack seemed to stretch into a prolonged eternity. This was very awkward, not beign a wiz at conversation he gave a attempt at beginning a short and sweet conversation. <Yes--well hello--> The Spearow had repleid to the <uhh..> not realizing he had missed his perfect oppurtunity to strike. Missed it like a baby trying to catch a basketball. At least it hadn't hit him instead, after all that would be--WHAT WAS SHE DOING!?
The call of a attack snapped the brid from the awkward silence nad into related. He was on a branch! how was that little shelled dude going to reach him when he was way up here. With a loud squawk the bird managed to flap out of the way as the Gible hammered into the spot he had formerly been. Alighting on a higher branch he stared incredulously down at the Gible. <What was that for?> he had a lot to learn indeed. Not to mention the conundrum between the attack being peck; and it being tackle still raged estruction through his hesitant mind. He didn't want to look foolish if he used the wrong one after all! (Sorry about the lack of length--muse is being spent slowly but surely today.)

[Lol, I don't blame you XD We've all been hit with being museless. Aw crap! I forgot he was on the branch XD]
Sky gave a huge blush on her face; she should've honestly looked where the Gible was Tackling, because he ran into a branch, ".....Oops..." Sky was too busy blushing to even give a command to the Gible. As a starting trainer, she still had a lot to learn about battles and where the Pokemon were. She winced when Cloud hit the tree; at least there weren't any people that saw her manuever. If they did, she'd be turning fifty shades of red instead of twenty-five.
Cloud bumped into the tree when he was given the command to Tackle. His head hurt, though it wasn't like he was majorly hurt from the impact. The reaction force made him go back a bit, but he got himself up. Then Cloud looked to his trainer, though when he saw her red in the face, he didn't bother her. When the Spearow asked what the Tackle was for, Cloud shrugged. <Well, you did challenge me to battle, so...> Cloud wondered whether to say he did it, or his trainer did it, but since he was the one who gave out the signal, he sighed. <So I struck, though it was just practice; running into trees are...good for your head> Cloud replied to the Spearow's question, though kept a guard in case a sneak attack would come while he conversed.

The shaking tree unbalanced the Spearow, that was one hell of a tackle! That thing must wiegh quit a lot more then his appearence belayed. One foot lifting off the branch for a few seconds, but was claped down again as he windmilled his wings to help balance himself. Thus falling forward; getting a very close look at the Gible, and allowing himself to drift backwards, both feet firmly grasping the branch. His wide young eyes watching the girl's face; she hadn't been the one to be so obedient as to damage her skull! Nuzzling his beak into his red breast feathers he began picking out debris and the like from when the tree had been shaking. Tossing it down, and lazily watch it drift to the ground down below.
<That it does--I would try it but my skull might break.. Thanks for the advice though> That thing had armor on its head. The Spearow wasn't so lucky, it would be like a feather pillow stopping a semi-truck. Peering down at the human and the dragon type he sighed. This was unfair, didn't mean he wanted the odds to change. <Is it cheating if I stays up here?> Would either of them even know? Obviously they hadn't known that a tackle wasn't the same as a 'Fly' attack, and wouldn't carry you up into a tree. Unless you had a rocket blaster on your rear end and enough fuel. Without wings or the ability to jump it was rather hard to get up into the tree.
Now that he thought about it. This bird really didn't want to get into a fight anymore, they looked like they hurt! Pain was not high on his Love list. First ug pokemon, then lady spearows and Pidgeys, followed by flying, and much much later after hangtalons was pain.

After her moment of blushing, Sky started feeling terrible. She told Cloud to Tackle a tree, unknowingly, and now his head probably hurt. This was no way to bond with Pokemon, especially if you let them get hurt and not even say sorry. Sky loved her Gible, and she had to take care of him and train him the best he could be. While on her Guilt Trip, Sky noticed that Cloud and the Spearow were speaking to each other, it seemed. Not wanting to interrupt their conversation, Sky watched, though kept it in her mind that she should apologize to Cloud.
Cloud listened to the Spearow, and could agree with it that its head probably couldn't take the impact. Yes, the Tackle hurt his head, but he forgave his trainer, despite it all. He was sure she didn't mean to do it, though his head was still aching a bit from the pain. Speaking of trainer, Cloud turned around, but found Sky watching him and the Spearow, not giving any other particular commands. Shrugging, he just turned to the Spearow again, <No problem; I have to thank the trees for my head of steel anyways> Cloud laughed, touching the tree a bit before looking back up. <Nah, I don't think it's cheating since I guess we're not really technically battling, but if we were, maybe it would probably be more fair if you did come down...> Cloud didn't even know what battles were or how they formed. Maybe they were battling, maybe they weren't. Whatever it was, he had no idea. <But if you're not really up for it, you don't have to do it> Cloud shrugged.
Sky had no idea what the Pokemon were saying, but couldn't take that she had acted so uncaring toward Cloud. She rushed over by his side though, and started petting his head. Sky was new at this, though she tried hard to try and comfort Cloud. So she kinda softly rubbed his dorsal fin and his forehead in hopes of easing the pain.
Cloud, surprised that his trainer was by him, felt her hand across his fin and forehead. It comforted him, so Cloud gave a smile, even though the impact still hurt his head a bit. Then he wondered what the Spearow was going to do: Go, or stay. Of course, to him, it didn't matter either way since the Spearow didn't look like he was up for it anyway. The Gible kept his guard though, just in case the Spearow was going to do anything fishy.

<Where’d you come from anyway>The curious flying type interrupted, he had never seen a creature like him before, he didn’t seem to be built for running or the forest. Not knowing what to say about the Gible’s gratitude towards the trees. He had gratitude for the forest guardians alright. Yet his thanks stemmed from completely different reasons. In the forest trees offered food, oft in the form of bugs; they also offered shelter from whatever weather the Earth chose to throw at them. Not to mention they offered good foundations for nests and places for the smaller Pokemon of route one to hide from predators. The flying type felt rude for changing the subject, but he had been at a complete loss as to what he wished to say, seeing as that ‘head of steel’ had been aimed at him only moments before. That fin had been lowered, and would have mowed him down if he had been on the ground.
Patiently the flying type listened to the Gible. Leaning forward to make sure he heard the right reply. Upon hearing the fact that it wasn’t cheating to the dragon he sighed. Then in a very human like gesture pulled one wing across his sweat soaked forehead. The soft downy feathers brushed together, tickling the sensitive skin directly above his beak, these feathers served much the same purpose as a cat’s ‘whiskers. Until he evolved into a fearow, it was dangerous to use them for anything. Before he had a chance to reply he realized the human was watching the pair of them. Creepy. Even if he knew she couldn’t understand, narrowing his eyes he further scrutinized Sky. <That’s a odd looking human you got there—how’s training?> To him it always seemed the pokemon trained the trainers not the other way around. Humans learned that they really didn’t control much; they just thought they did.
Upon hearing the grant for reprieve of the battle he let out a happy trill. At the moment he felt like hugging the Gible, not that he would even feel it under all that armored plating. When the trainer moved closer the little Spearow dodged farther away. Brown feathered cheeks were tinted red by his blushing skin, this was embarrassing as all hell to admit. <I feel so cowardly—but pain is not high on my list of things to do.> The only reason they likely wanted to make him fight was so he did the same stupid thing they had when they were his age.
The human was too close for the little flying types comfort. So turning around he fluttered to the next branch back. The leaves obscuring his form, and anything she might try to throw at him. Like those caging balls from the infernal pits of hell. At the thought of one his face screwed up in disgust. Remembering his earlier rude comments he shuffled his feet, glad for her oblivion about their conversation.

<Me? Um, well, I think I came from somewhere...over there> Cloud anwered to the Spearow, trying to point with his claw where he thought he came from. <So, what about you? Have you lived here pretty much all your life?> Cloud asked the Spearow. Hm, actually, talking is just as good as battling, though I'm not really gaining any levels... Cloud thought to himself, but shrugged, What does it matter? This fellow is fun to talk to anyway. Cloud shook off the thought, and listened to what the Spearow had to say again. He also still felt Sky's hand on his fin, which was making him more comfortable around the Spearow, and her.
Sky still had no idea what the Pokemon were talking about. Then she wondered whether it was a good thing that she couldn't understand them. After all, they could be talking about her. And she definitely wasn't ready to hear that Cloud disliked her, if he did. Then again, if he did, he would've run away from her stroking of his head. She then looked at the Spearow, and then wondered whether or not it was going to fight. Since Cloud and him seemed to be getting along, Sky dismissed the battle for now. If the Spearow wasn't going to suddenly fight, then she was fine. The only problem was that she couldn't join in the conversation. But that was simple; she could just watch them and see how good Cloud's social skills were.
<Training?> The Gible looked up at the Spearow, wondering what to say to him. <Well, to be honest, we just started when we got here, so I guess it's okay, not too great, not too horrible> Cloud replied. Actually, training was not going as he imagined it to be, but that was too trivial to bring up into the conversation. But it wasn't that he was angry that he wasn't getting any training; Cloud liked conversing with wild Pokemon. It was interesting since he's never really remembered what life was like in the wild, if he even was there. <Are you getting good training?> Cloud asked the Spearow out of curiosity if wild Pokemon train. If they did, then maybe the Spearow didn't want to really fight because he had trained already. Then again, that reason would be false because the Spearow was the one who challenged him in the first place. Cloud had no idea Pokemon Battles were honestly this complicated.
When Cloud saw some happiness that the Spearow was free from battle, if he wanted, he smiled, out of making another Pokemon happy. Though he wasn't really going to battle, Cloud didn't mind; friends might've been more important. When he heard that the Spearow felt cowardly, Cloud shook his head. <It's not that you're cowardly> He began, <I don't even know how a battle really works either, and my head is hurting if I do think about it...> Cloud actually thought of battling harder than he needed to; in fact, he was quite oblivious to the fact that they were simpler than they sounded.[Sorry about that post; I had to leave ]

The Spearow entire head swiveled ;following the Gible’s claw. All that there was to see was a wall of green trees; such a surprise, and a few struggling bushes. Nothing that gave the bird any clue to where he came from. Well unless he meant beyond the trees, but flying off in the middle of good conversation was rude; his mother had always taught him that. So he was content to believe the Gible. <That I have. This foresti s all I know.> The forest was deceptively named, it was likely some cruel human who decided to play a trick on the rest of the populace. By naming this ‘plains’ which was nothing like what it was at all, it was a forest, much less dense and humid then route two though. The bird began to relax his tense wing muscles when he saw the human being perfectly calm, and not trying to catch him or anything like that.
<She’s a trainer--right?> If she wasn’t then this Gible was likely a pet. The litte spearow realized something then. Opening his beak he began to interrupt the Gible then shut it. That question could wait. It hadn’t impended the conversation yet anyway. Listening to the inquiry that next emitted from the Gible’s jaws his face turned as red as the feathers dotting his breast. <Today was the first shot I had at defending myself.> Even though his flock only accused fighting back in defense, they didn’t want the fledgings being thrown into battle with no prior experience. So they made them enter a mock battle, and told them to fly off once they got their battle wings. Lest they be caught. <So the answer is--no idea.> Of course it was really, no.
<That’s what happens when you run into trees Gible.> The Spearow replied, flinching as if predicting a hit to come from the rather bold comment. Of coursei t had been said jokingly, but hwo did he know this Gible was the joking type? Or hwo did he know he wouldn’t take offense at that? <Thanks. And sorry.> The Pidgey mumbled. Thankful for not being considered a coward, and learning he was the not the only Pokemon who had little idea about how to battle. Of course he still couldn’t remember if it was Peck or Tackle he learned, although he was now leaning towards the Peck. His beak led him to that assumption, it was the easiest one to do. Tackling seemed off to him, his head and beak would get in the way. So that was likely not what he was supposed to do.’
Glad the trainer had taken no offense at the earlier comment he managed to hop closer to the pair. Sidling along th branch until he was where the humans nose was, or where it lined up with the branch. Then he began examining her, her hair, her eyes, her skin. No feathers or anything, those clothes were supposedly all humans had to keep warm. The lack of wings in all of them rendered them flightless.

Cloud could understand that the Spearow probably hadn't been anywhere else besides the forest because he looked like he hadn't actually explored the world yet. But he knew not to judge a Pokemon too quickly, even though his judgement ended up being right. <I understand; so you've probably haven't been beyond here then...> Cloud said to both himself and the Speaow. He said it to himself for just the pleasure of thinking out loud, though he knew not to do it that often. <Still, it must be fun in the forest, having all this space to roam around> Cloud looked on the bright side of living in a forest. The trees were probably the biggest advantages in his opinion, though maybe the Spearow appreciated something more than the trees.
When Cloud heard the Spearow ask if Sky was a trainer, he nodded, <Yeah; I don't think we'd be traveling places if I was just a pet. Cloud explained and took a glance at Sky. He was actually getting used to her and more comfortable around her as time went on. Still, being new, Cloud couldn't say that he was totally and completely comfortable around her. <Oh really? The first shot?> Cloud nodded understandably, <Me too; this is my first time battling as well, though maybe you might've figured that out already...> Cloud gave a small blush at the thought that it was only his first time. But then the thought occurred to him that everything has a first time in order to actually get used to it. <Yeah; I can understand that you probably wouldn't know how to train either> Cloud replied, <But I don't know how to train as well, so we can pretty much be newbies together> Cloud shrugged and laughed jokingly.
Cloud laughed at the comment; he got it, and it was funny. <Good point; maybe I shouldn't think extremely hard and run into trees one after the other> Of course, that was a joke also, but he had to return the humor somehow. <No problem, you just don't seem like a--> When Cloud heard the 'sorry', he gave the Spearow a confused look, <For what?> All he could think of was a 'sorry for challenging you to a battle', but he didn't think the Spearow would apologize for such petty a thing.
Sky was growing rather bored looking and watching the Pokemon converse. It was mostly that she couldn't understand what they were saying besides guessing from facial expressions and movements. Other than that though, Sky had no clue to what they were talking about. She didn't show her boredom to the Pokemon since she did like them and liked Cloud making friends, though she wished she could join in the conversation. Then, all of a sudden, Sky found the Spearow almost at her nose. She widened her eyes, but didn't swat it away, in fear of it pecking her face if she moved. Sky could see the Spearow looking at her, and she didn't say a word, but was feeling quite awkward and wondering why it decided to stare at her like that.

The spearow shook his head. <I have flew up where I can see the towns. Not to mention I have went to the edge of the forest...> The Spearow seemed to ponder for a moment before throwig his wings out in a random direction, it had been a while ,and he had no idea which way he had really flown. Screwing up his face in concentration he also threw his wing to the east and the west. <One of those ways...> At least it was likely one of those ways if you took probability into account. At the next statement the Spearow nodded vigorously. <I haven't even seen it all yet! It's really big.> he hadn't even realized how comfortable he felt, it was nice to have a speaking partner who was about your age. The spearow was nwo visibly relaxed, if his slumped stance, and rolled shoulders were anything at all to go on.
<I figured as much.> Pets were usually too pampered to go out into the wild, of ocurse some were considered neither trained pokemon or pets, most were part of the humans family. <I can tell when someone is as inexperienced is me..from experience.> Shaking his head he murmured 'no offense'. He hadnn't meant that they were on the same level of unskillfullness. The spearow really needed to think before he said things that could be taken offensively. Hopefully this Gible didn't have a disguised temper hidden beneath that passive attitude. Those teeth seemed to hold up that fact, as did that--was that a evil glint in his eyes!? No of course not, the evil didn't smile or laugh.
When he foudn the Gible laughed the knot in his stomach seemed to disappate. So he wasn't going to try and attack him again, with all the shaking the tree had done he wouldn't be surprised if it toppled over, and squished his own featherhed head! Strewing his brains all over the rotten, and dead destris of the forest floor. <Nevermind.> No reasom to apologize, and sound silly if he didn't even take offense at the earlier statement. So he allowed a smile to cross his face. "he tree wishes to meet your lips again.> He quietly mocked, testing the waters for any disguised agression udner the fluffy exterior.
The spearow leaned forward farther, no beast on this route had eyes that color. In fact he had never seen anything with eyes that color. Humans came in more varieties then pokemno, but he had never been up this close, he was aways afraid they would try to catch him, especially when he had no idea how to fight back. Those little ball thingies could likely knock him out quicker then a tackle, if thrown with skills.

Cloud nodded, though didn't quite understand what the Spearow meant by seeing the towns. Could he really fly that high? The Gible looked at the Spearow's wings, wondering what it would be like to fly. <Gee, it must feel great to fly and see the towns, or at least a glimpse> Cloud told the Spearow, and pictured wings on his own back. Then he looked back at Sky, and wondered if she was wondering if she could fly. Well, it's either flying, or breathing underwater... Cloud reasoned with himself, but came to a sigh when he realized he couldn't do any of them. <What do you think is better: Flying, or breathing underwater?> Cloud figured that since the Spearow already experienced flying, that he could answer the question easier than he himself could.
Cloud nodded, <Yeah; I don't think I'd be cut out for a pet, frankly> The Gible said honestly; after all, he didn't think his purpose in life was to be a pet. As he thought about it some more though, he didn't know what his purpose in life was. It can't be fighting-I don't think I'm that much of a fighting machine... Why must all these complex thoughts enter his head?! While he was thinking though, Cloud heard the Spearow say something about experience and inexperience, apparently. Since he was too busy thinking about his purpose in life, Cloud just looked up at the Spearow with a nod, feeling bad that he didn't say that he had no idea what the Spearow even said.
Cloud shrugged, <Suit yourself.> He smiled and started leaning on the tree, <After all, you really don't have a lot to apologize for anyway> Cloud told the Spearow with honesty again. Just then, he heard the Spearow say that the tree wished to meet his lips again. Cloud looked up at the Spearow with widened eyes. The Spearow lived here longer than he had, so of course there might have been things that Cloud didn't know... <.....Do you mean...the tree.....is....in love with me?!> Cloud asked the Spearow in a confused and frantic tone.
Sky was still feeling awkward with the Spearow piercing straight through her eyes. It actually felt awkward because Sky was also staring straight through the Spearow's eyes, though was feeling more like she was glaring at it. Staring contests were common when she was a little girl, so it seemed like she having one, except with a Spearow, "Um....hi?" Sky whispered, uncertain whether or not the Spearow would peck her.

The spearow let out a whistling trill, and nodded .Turning his eyes from the human inches away and turning his wide innocence filled eyes to the Gible below. The one who stood at about his trainer’s knees, humans were so much taller when compared to their pokemon. <It is--of course the towns around here look the same to me.> They did. All covered in little wooden boxes, and green grass, except the town e had wagered these two from had a giant looking building, that smelled of Pokemon and medicine. Behind the building he had even heard the howling cres of pokemon, some injured, some insane, and others angry. It was a odd place indeed. The sparrow’s face became one of puzzlement as the question was posed. <I would have to be biased and say flying, but really they can’t be that different.> At least the spearow thought so with all he had observed with those underwater, which was little.
The Spearow paused for a minute, leaning forward, a few of his longer feathers likely brushing the human’s face. <for children--but I am sure some woud think you were cool.> Cooler then a brown bird that was rumored for being aggressive, dragons were just rumored to be as stubborn as a mix between a mule and a jackass. The Spearow knew he had been misheard, but he really didn’t care. He had almost ignored the question from earlier. Dragons were renown for their power, the Gible was just slow starting out.
<I will.> Of course suiting himself without clothing was hard. Wait--birds didn’t wear suits. So that was obviously not what he was talking about. Of course he didn’t want to embarrass himself by looking like a complete idiot. Listening to the next part of the Gibles speech he smiled. <Good. I don’t want you angry at me…> And then the frantic worrying stopped. It took all of the genes for menance in his body to keep a straight face, and not instantly apologize. <Can’t you hear her?> The little bird paused as if he was listening to the tree, and nodded to the Gible. Oh he felt so bad doing this.
Hearing the humans frightened mewl of a greeting he swivled his hed back towards her. Puffing his cheeks out so his smile, and fit of giggles was less obvious. Clacking his beak together he leaned forward and with a wink at the human went: ‘Spea!’ Which roughly translates to: <BOO!>

Cloud nodded, understanding, <I've never seen a town from overhead, though I assume that they probably do look all the same... He shrugged, looking toward where he thought he came from, which he didn't know. When he looked at Sky, she looked a bit uncomfortable at the Spearow near her. Cloud actually kind of smirked; if only she could understand what they were talking about, then she would have more of a comfortable stance. After what he's learned, the Spearow isn't really all that scary, even though he could be at first glance.
The Gible smiled, flattered by the compliment. <Thank you; I hope I become stronger though.> Cloud replied, only wondering what the possiblilities were. Even though he was small for now, Cloud knew that he could be stronger, if he and Sky set their minds to it. Cloud also knew that the Spearow could be stronger, though he didn't know for certain; it was still too soon. But the Gible was pretty sure that the Spearow had potential.
Cloud looked at the Spearow with yet more confusion, <...Um, how can you actually suit yourself?> The Gible had only learned of it as a natural thing for a certain reply, but when the Spearow replied "I will", it just made things more confusing for Cloud than it already was. When the Spearow stated that he didn't want him angry at him, Cloud looked up, <Yeah; I can't find a reason why I'd be angry at you.> He told him, and then looked at the tree. Once the Spearow asked if the Gible could hear the tree, he pet the tree softly. <Sorry...it's just I never felt someone fall in love with me before and....well, you're not my type...sorry.> Cloud was honest, and he couldn't help himself when he spoke those words to the tree. Then he looked back at the Spearow, <Sorry; it had to be done...>
Sky backed up ever so slightly when she saw the Spearow puff its cheeks. What was it going to do? She pet Cloud's head again for comfort, but now she was almost certain that the Spearow was going to do something weird. The conversations that Cloud and the Spearow were having were not understandable to her, so she didn't know whether they were talking about her, or what. Just then, the Spearow's surprising voice rung throughout her, and Sky jumped up and screamed in surprise, "Aah!" She screamed and hid behind Cloud. Of course, the hiding place was a joke, but the scream surprise wasn't.
