Legendary Danielle [Preferred to be Called Dani]
Gender:
Female
Race:
Human
Age:
Thirteen
Sexuality Preference:
Straight
Appearance:
Dani's has soft, tea green eyes that are normally filled with energy and peace. Her silky, long red hair is flowing and normally kept in a neat bun or simply free to roam in the breeze. Her skin is a flawless pale color, and her cheeks have a natural blush to them. She dislikes her nose, which looks like it was squashed by a large Charizard. Her left eye is a lazy eye, to where she can barely see out of it.
Dani's favorite style for traveling are a pair of dark-colored blue jeans and a light blue halter top that has a border on the bottom of Pokeballs. The belt which she uses for Pokeballs has a small image of a flame on it, which she sewed onto her belt herself. Her backpack is a simple black backpack with several pockets where she tends to put knick-nacks. Her backpack is like a messenger bag that slings across her body.
Personality:
Dani is normally very quiet natured, and tends to keep to herself. However, she is not afraid to test her skills with other people. She is very determined at her practice of training Pokemon and befriending them, and will often just spend a day or two to relax with her Pokemon and have days where they just play.
Dani tends to occasionally be very timid. However, most of the time she is friendly and competitive. She is very neutral and tries to prevent fights between people from happening, and will do anything in her might to help weaker Pokemon who get tormented by stronger Pokemon. She's a die-hard fan for fire-type Pokemon. Though her next favorite type are dark-type Pokemon, she is not afraid to experiment with different Pokemon types.
History:
Danielle Emily Emerson, born April fourth, a simple, rainy day. A boring, old-fashioned name, in her opinion. Her mother looked nearly identical to her - other than the lines of age which were slowly popping up, even though her mother claimed they were laugh lines and nothing more. Her father was quiet and loving - much like Dani was. They were the complete opposite of her mother, who was overly-friendly and impulsive.
Danielle decided that she didn't like that name, so she gave herself the nickname of Dani, which her parents quickly got caught onto saying. However, when they were mad at her for some reason, they were quick to call her Danielle and make her flush a bright red. Unlike most kids, she decided she wanted to spend more time with her family before getting her own Pokemon. She felt that family was more important than anything else.
However, her parents were beginning to worry about their daughter not acting like the other children, and asked her to please go and get her own Pokemon sooner rather than later. Dani promised that she would get one come her thirteenth birthday, when she was officially a teenager, and felt like she was ready to handle a Pokemon of her own. Her parents had always been interested in grass, bug, and water type Pokemon, yet she was different and was always interested in fire and dark type Pokemon. So she decided early on that she wanted one of those type for her first Pokemon.
Roleplay Sample:
The sun sparkled brilliantly above. The soft sound of a creek moving nearby was relaxing and soothing. Her tea-green eyes slowly opened lazily, comfortably warm. Nilee, her Cyndaquil, slept peacefully at her side, providing a soft warmth. She smiled quietly to herself. She was proud to have Nilee, as he was calm and determined, a lot like herself.
Nilee stirred slightly, and a pair of happy eyes opened. "Cynda!" Nilee squealed, getting to his feet with a swift hop. Dani laughed.
"I'm guessing that means your ready for battle practice today." Dani mused, stretching her hands above her head. "I think we should look for some wild Pokemon around here. There may even be a trainer...yet I don't know if you're ready for that yet, so let's stick to wild Pokemon."
Nilee nodded his head confidently, and then Dani stood up, and grabbed Nilee's Pokeball. "Return." Dani muttered simply, and a red light flew from the Pokeball and surrounded Nilee, before Nilee was transported back into his Pokeball with a slight "click."
With that, Dani placed the Pokeball back on her belt and began her way deeper into the canopy of trees, ready for a day of training.
[Okay, that sucked, please forgive it. My muse is low, currently.]
This is the revised version.
