Ah! What a day it was to be in such a dark, dank forest! The man’s emerald eyes scanned the area around him, pupils growing and shrinking with each scroll of the wheel on his lighter. Walking in front of him was his beloved Houndoom, her demonic tail thrashing about as she burned a path for them through the dense forest. Her fire was controlled, well watched and obedient, so there wasn’t much for Leo to worry about. Besides, even if he did burn down the whole forest, his adrenaline would simply rush about in his body as he would scramble out and watch it burn. Grinning at the very thought of it, the Absol-morph allowed himself to entertain the idea by nudging her bottom with his foot. “A little more power there, darling. Let’s see if we can’t turn this place into a living Hell.” Obliging without hesitation, Narciss loosed stronger flames from her mouth and onto the ground, leaving behind her a slow-dying inferno. “Lovely.” Sticking his hand through a few of the burning beauties, Leo savoured the sting upon his skin and the smell of burning flesh that drifted into his nose. Lost in his Hellfire fantasy, the man nearly forgot about his hand until Narciss took a swift lash at his leg. “Oh!” He pulled his hand back quickly to place it against the fresh cut on his leg. Silly Houndoom knew exactly how to distract him! He lifted his hand and gazed longingly at the bright red blood that stained his hand. It wasn’t long before he brought the hand to his face and began to lick it away much like a child would a lollipop. A low rumble of pleasure formed in his throat, the scent and taste of the sticky liquid driving his taste buds wild. His eyes tore away from his candy for but a moment and spotted a tree in a dimly lit area of the forest. Hm. Why not? Pulling upon Narciss’ horns, he brought her to the area and quickly sat himself down to continue his snack. The Houndoom gazed at her trainer with odd puppy dog eyes, a whimper or two emitting from her mouth. Staring down at her, Leo sighed and patted her head gently. “Oh, alright. Go ahead; I’ll share.” Barking lightly in thanks, Narciss began to lap the remaining blood that streamed from the gash in Leo’s leg. Oh, he was so nice sometimes! She just couldn’t understand why hardly anyone liked him.
