-----TRAINER TEMPLATE-----
Name: General Artemis Ovleyous
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Hometown: Oasis Town
Sexual Preference: Straight (Heterosexual)
Allegiance: Team Pravus
Personality: Artemis is a strategist with dreams of grandeur. He loves to sit alone in his office long into the night drawing out battle plans and tactics Team Pravus should use to capture the Legendaries. Of course, none of the higher ups will even look at any of his ideas, and in his past two years of being a General he has grown rather withdrawn and quiet. When Artemis does not have any orders to carry out, he locks himself in his chambers, the walls of which are covered in bookcases filled with dusty tombs and maps. Artemis has always been an avid reader, and it has made him quick-witted and intellegent. This is one General who is never afraid to show off to his superiors in the hopes of getting promoted. Although Artemis's use of unnessesarily complex words usually only gets him funny looks.
More than anything, Artemis wants to be promoted. Just a little promotion will do for him, but he really wants his ideas to be taken seriously-And that will never happen while he's a General. What's more, Artemis hates having to work in groups, as he always gets much more done when he do it himself and not have to disscuss with several others first. Often he will wander off into the forest to train his Pokemon in the hopes that if they are strong enough, the leader will promote him. Unfortunately, Artemis's inability to work effectively with other Generals often gets him scolded and punished, not rewarded with things like promotions. So poor Artemis tries to stay quiet when on missions with others so that he won't mess them up. His main goal is to be promoted to Commander, even if he must go through the painful process to become a Pokemorph to be one.
The thing that gets Artemis in the most trouble is his temper. He hates being disobeyed and loses his temper with anyone who won't listen to him-Whether they be a mere grunt or a fellow General. Artemis always tries to be the leader in his groups, which does more than just irk his commerades and superiors. Insults also really get to him, making him useless in battle if the enemy uses trash talk to enrage him. Artemis will easily lose his cool and send his Pokemon charging blindly into an outstanding loss. The two taunts that anger him more than anything are being called 'Arty' or being mocked for his height(which is noticably shorter than most his age).
Hobbies: Artemis enjoys reading an writing, as well as drawing out maps and thinking of new strategies. He also likes to lose himself in the forest with his Pokemon, especially at night, to train and to star gaze. Perhaps this is unusual behavior for a Pravus General, but Artemis doesn't feel that it's hurting anyone. The General also goes for a long run every morning to keep himself in top physical condition.
Physical Appearance: Artemis is a very small, compact man, though most people just see it as being short. Being only 4'10" at age 27 is rather unusual. But there is strenght hidden in his scrawny-looking limbs. Artemis is physically fit and his wiry muscels are always fired up and ready to spring into action. Balanced on a thin neck is Artemis's moderately handsome face, distinguishable by his high cheek bones and deep-set icy blue eyes. They are cold, calculating eyes that seem to look right through you. His hair is wispy and dark brown, a few shades light of black.
A pair of golden-rimmed glasses are perched loosely on his slightly crooked nose(an injury from a fight he got into in school long ago). Artemis's Team Pravus uniform is always crisp and clean, as he irons it every day in an attempt to impress the higher-ups. It has few ordaments, not enough to be truly impressive but enough to differenciate him from the meaningless grunts. He wears the colors proudly, with his chest puffed out and his head held high.

History: Artemis Ovleyous was born in Oasis town on a scalding summer day in late July. His is named after the Greek Goddess of hunting, perhaps a suitible name for him. Artemis' first years of life were completely uneventful, a fact that infuriated him beyond belief. He longed to do something fantastic that would make everyone in the world know who he was. A monotone life in a small town in the middle of nowhere was something Artemis simply could not tolerate. The day he turned ten, Artemis packed up and left Oasis Town, headed for Barkwish Town. There he recieved his first Pokemon: A Machop whom he named Rector. Rector was goofy and absent-minded, and the two didn't really get along.
Out on Route One, Artemis and Rector came across a baby Houndour. To this day Artemis is not sure how it got there, but either way he rushed it to the Pokemon center back at Barkwish. He was weak and sick and very undersized, but the doctors there were able to nurse him back to full health, though he has always been small for his species. Artemis asked the Houndour if he wanted to travel with him, and the Houndour allowed himself to be caught. Artemis named him Harbringer and they have been best friends ever since. Har quickly replaced Rector as Artemis' best Pokemon, and the Machop was later traded for a Mankey.
As Artemis continued to build up his Pokemon prowess, he became aware of a team called Team Pravus that was rising to power in Remoor. The boy, fifteen at the time, was not interested in joining a team of any sort. Someone had asked him about joining Team Rocket earlier but he turned them down, perferring to work alone. Two years passed and Artemis was beginning to grow tired of the seemingly endless journey of catching and training Pokemon. It was so tedious and sometimes boring that he decided he did indeed need a change of pace. So Artemis sought out a member of Team Pravus and joined up as a grunt. As a grunt he worked long and hard, more than any other grunt. It became apperant that he was much too clever to be a lowly grunt, and yet not scientifically educated enough to be a scientist. After all, he was just a kid. They kept him as a grunt until Artemis turned eighteen and then promoted him to General, where he has remained to this day.
Although he has not had a promotion in the past seven years, they have not been boring years. Artemis has been trusted to take teams out after the legendaries Raikou and Ho-Oh, both have been unsuccessful. He also led an attack on Suicune when she was foolish enough to wander right into Team Pravus headquarters. This attack was also unsuccessful, but rather than disheartening Artemis they have only made him more determined to be promoted and go after a legendary himself.
