Tania was walking through the woods looking for a good place to set up shop. She also was meant to meet up with her old friend Don Corleone, the now, apparently deceased, mob boss who had requested if he he could crash with her for a while. She knew he was rash occasionaly but faking your own death is just a tad extreme. <Still> she sighed, <At least I'll get to see him when it doesn't involve business for once>.
Tania began assembling her large tent. The material is a violet, waterproof fusion of silk and cotton. The doors are made out of the same silk, scratch the cotton, and is a lighter shade that drapes down in front of the entrance. An emblem of a silver star surrounded by sapphires hung above the entrance. There is an eye made of diamonds in the center of the star. Inside the tent is a desk, a crystal ball, some chairs, a few shelves containing her wares and her golden trunk. The room was lit by violet candles on golden stands in the shape of Seviper.
After putting her shop together she began chanting. She was using her psychic power to surround hed shop in a deep fog that hid the tent. It made the tent invisible to humans but not to pokemon. She then went inside and began sweeping away until her guests arrived as Don Corleone said he was bringing someone with him. She just hummed away to herself as she sweeped the floor of her shop.

A low hum could be heard, as, almost in an instant, a pale purple flash shone from between the dense trees of the Emerald Forest. Almost like a lightning, the flash turned into a lone, small Pokémon, his dark body blending in with the surroundings. Only a single, pale eye stood out among the pitch black forest. The Pokémon looked around, and, almost as quickly as he appeared, vanished in another flash of purple light.
A small, purple tent was being set up at the edge of the forest, a strange logo imprinted above the entrance and a small shadow rising up and down inside it. The Pokémon looked in a bit of a hurry, although it was hard to judge. It was obvious, however, that the tent was only set up recently, since it was still slightly leaning to one side. A purple glow flashed right next to it, the mysterious Pokémon emerging from it yet again, only this time, it seemed to have found what it was looking for.
Slwoly drifting through the thin cotton fabric, not waiting for an invitation, the Duskull entered the tent. "Why do you always have to set up your tents in different places, Tania?" Don Vito Corleone asked, his pale, purple eye piercing the Meditite in front of him. Taking a quick glance around the tent, he noticed that everything was already set up and ready fro sale. He then noticed that one thing was missing. "And where is that pitiful imitation of a bodyguard? He was supposed to stay close behind." Although it might have seemed that the ghost was quite annoyed at the whole siuation, it was not so. Don Corleone rarely expresses any kind of emotion.

He was traveling above the ground today, for once, something that he rarely did these days. While he was underground, he could definitely travel faster than he could with trees and other large things blocking the way. Underground, surrounded by the rocks, he felt limitless. But, he supposed some fresh air every now and then never hurt anyone. It certainly was a nice day out, but being around so much forestry, so much green, made him slightly uneasy.
However, why he was above ground in a forest, of all places, was beyond him. He towered above several of the trees here, but many more rose much higher than he did. His massive head turned every which way as he carefully looked for a better place to burrow, or an easier way to simply exit. Moments before he was going to dive underground, a strange mist caught his eye. What could be the cause of that, at this time of day?
<Strange,> he muttered, tilting his rocky head.
The large Onix slithered closer, only stopping when he saw a small tent right in the middle of this fog. He leaned closer, catching the tail-end of a pokemon heading into the tent. Surely whatever, or whoever, was in the tent heard the rock-snake approaching; he wasn't exactly built for stealth. Hm... He slithered a few feet closer, able to examine the patterns on the tent. He wasn't exactly sure what it meant, but it had to represent something, right? If he had shoulders, he definitely would have been shrugging them.
What else could be done? He shrugged - mentally - and decided to wait outside of the violet tent. Maybe someone would come out eventually and tell him what was going on...
ooc;; Eep, short and stuff. Sorry. x.x

An orange and brownish-cream blur shot through the underbrush, the rustle and crunching of leaves marking his passage clearly. It was obvious that the figure racing along wasn't trying to be silent, however. If anyone could focus enough through the thick brush to see the form of the pokemon, they would see that it was a growlithe of average size. The growlithe had a dirty coat that was covered in burrs along the left side, but its thick fur wasn't absolutely filthy. The growlithe's stocky limbs carried it at surprising speed across the ground, leaving pawprints in the mud that soon filled with water. It had rained the night previous, making the layer of foliage close to the forest floor damp. The growlithe's fur was wet, but he didn't stop to shake off, and only blinked the water away if he happened to get a bit in his eyes.
He had been "hired" as a personal bodyguard for a duskull who had approached him a while ago back on route one, and had been following the ghost pokemon ever since. However, once they got into the forest, the duskull had started teleporting all over the place! How was Risto supposed to find him, much less follow him, if he kept just vanishing? Still, he seemed to be moving in a relatively straight line at least, for as the growlithe ran along he could occasionally catch a whiff of the ghost-type's scent. He didn't like the smell; actually, he wasn't a big fan of ghost-types in general, but this one (who called himself "Don Vito Coleone") seemed alright, if a bit overly dry at times.
There! Aristarchus veered off abruptly as he caught a strong whiff of Don Coleone's scent. He turned left and took a couple more running steps, leaping over a log and crossing a pond by hopping across the rocks. He landed on the other side of the pond, scrambled up the muddy bank, and just as he'd gotten his speed up he found that he had exited into a small clearing. There was a purple-colored tent not ten feet from him, which he was very close to running right into. The growlithe hit the brakes, essentially sitting down right there and skidding to a stop inches in front of the tent wall. He'd seen the ghost-type float right through the wall, but Risto himself had to find the opening or else dig underneath. He shook the excess water off himself and picked a clinging leaf off his prized muscle band before stepping inside, pushing the tent flap aside with his nose. It smelled good inside, he noted, sniffing the air energetically as he trotted over to the duskull. Despite his long run, he was only a little out of breath, and more than ready for more exercise. "Hello." he said to the meditite, his tongue lolling out a bit in the warmth of the tent.

<Aigh Ai Aih!>
A small white Seal like Pokemon sped through the Forest with a seemingly huge rush. It didn't seem to of had the most happiest face ever. <I hope he doesn't find me! Aigh ai aih!> Shouted Steve with a huge scream. Never had Seel been an uneasy pokemon like this. He was usually a very calm pokemon. It was a certain reason why he was running. It had a lot to do with his deep, dark, shrouded mystery.
He started panicking and his body began shaking very fast. He was panicking so much, He couldn't even function his puny Brain to tell him what to do next. He needed protection. He gasped as he thought he heard his owners voice. Luckily it was some Wild Pokemon. He had some strange feeling, As odd as it seems, That his Owner wasn't chasing him. He calmed down slightly as the thought remained in his Head. It was probably true. He still got ready to run, Despite his thoughts.
He began running again, Running very fast, He thought of all the ugly Memories of him and Chad. Those horrible times, With the leather Belt and what not. He was truly an evil Trainer. But it was the end of it now. He had to avenge him and fellow pokemon. He had to show every trainer a piece of him. But how? He was just a mere Seel. Without proper friends of pokemon he was nowhere. He proceded running until he felt a weird feeling, He had travelled through a Ghost Pokemon, A Duskull in fact. Behind the Duskull was a Meditite which he bumped into with a loud crash. He looked up from where he had fallen and put on a sheepish smile. "Um... Hi!" said Seel who was speechless. "Sorry bout the fall in, I am in a rush. I'm trying to run away from n evil Human." explained Seel, Who was quite eager to see what these Pokemon who were big and small, Weird and tall were talking about.

Display Configuration Complete.Syntax's night vision flickered as she passed from a sunny patch into the darkness of Emerald Forest - the darkness it's known for. The display (a refined night vision that involves colors rather than just green-ness) showed trees, trees, and more trees, as usual. But then something danced into her sensor range.
A tent, nested in a patch of thin mist. Syntax paused, cautious; she couldn't know whether or not it belonged to a human. Its deep purple hues gave her the thought that it may belong to a gypsy - they were known to camp in the forest occasionally.
Curious, the blue and pink Pokemon rolled forward on the wheels that emerged from her feet-like projections. She wanted to know what was in the tent.
Syn was only a few feet away when she finally noticed the huge Onix. The robot creature froze in her, erm, steps. How could she have missed the rock snake?
The Porygon let out a low whistle and tried to back away without being noticed - she didn't want a fight, especially with a huge creature like that! But as she rolled backwards, one of her wheels ran over a large twig, breaking it with a loud, echoing 'snap!'
Syntax stopped in her tracks, eyes fixed on the Onix. She was dead. Readying Defense Mechanisms.
Fight or Flight Tactics Initiated. ((*cough* Erm, well, sorry it's not so great xD And if you didn't know, the green stuff at the beginning and end isn't her talking, it's her programming and what it's doing and such at the beginning and end of every post ^^;;; me=nerd))

Tania was quietly sweeping away when she felt a chill in the air. A presence she felt many times before and could tell straight off what it was. "Hello Don Corleone, good to see you again." said Tania as she sweapt. "I hope that you've been well all this time, apart from the faking your own death thing." said Tania in her cruel, sadistic tone, teasing him. She then walked over and began looking through her gold chest for something. "Toad stool softener, nope.. lima beans, nada... broken bug zapper, yeah right... Aha! Here it is. said Tania while pulling out a strange looking pot. She then walked over to a machine and began pouring a strange substance into the pot. "Take a drink of this, it's my own blend for different for different types of pokemon, in your case, Ghostly Grape. said Tania making great use of alliteration.
A few minutes passed when the violet silk draped over the entrance to her tent moved apart revealing a pokemon, a Growlithe to be exact. This must be the bodyguard Vito mentioned as nobody else heard about her being here. "Why hello, you must be Don Corleone's new bodyguard, he told me you were coming, I'll go get you a drink. greeted Tania heading over to the mysterious machine and pouring out another dish of red liquid for fire types. "One batch of my famous Flamable Frape, exclusively for fire pokemon. said Tania placing the dish down in front of him. "Finally someone other than Mr. Personality over here to talk to." said Tania poking fun at Don Corleone's lack of emotions.
Tania was was in the tent getting to know her new Growlithe friend who said his name was Aristarchus but for her to call him Ari. Tania eventually walked over Don Corleone to have a word with him until... BANG! A white blur had just flown through the air, through Vito and right into her face, knocking her to the ground almost paralyzed with the shock of it but the fact that she was hit in the head added to source of it. She got up with an evil glare on her face and her normal face replaced a vision of terror and instead of teeth, fangs seemed to have replaced them. As she got up she saw the culprit. It was a Seel with an idiotic expression on it's face. She used a Thunder Punch to blast him out of the tent before she ran after it. She dashed out of the tent shouting abuse at the Seel. "Come back here before I rip your eyes out you little piec..." Tania's voice trailed off as she ran out of her tent. There was an Onix, a Porygon and the Seel who crashed into her face but was now hanging from a tree. "I shouldn't have gotten up this morning." said Tania while simultaniously letting out a sigh.
After getting the Seel out of the tree and chanting spells to enlarge her tent to let the Onix come in. She got drinks for all of them. She handed them to the Onix and Porygon but threw it in the Seel's face out of spite for what the creature did. "So let me get this straight, you and you were both roaming the forest and bumped into ach other here," said Tania reffering to the Onix and Porygon before turning to the Seel,"And you were running away from your trainer before running here, through the entrance, through Vito and into my face!" finished Tania gasping for air after what she just said. "Yeah right! Tell me what your all really doing here. Are you cops? said Tania, really wanting to give that Seel another punch in the face but waited until they finished their stories... then she'll punch him in the face.

On the mention of his faked suicide, Vito stopped completely dead in his tracks, which was quite ironic, regarding the circumstances. "How do you-" Don Corleone threw at Tania, his voice making the Duskull's current fears apparent, then stopped, his single, penetrating eye falling onto the crystal ball. "But of course," he said in a slightly apologetic tone, although he was no where near intending to apologize. "I will ask you to just keep it quiet, Tania," he said, his pale orb upon her an unspoken threat. "You know how highly I value favors," he added, finally taking his eye off her, and quite possibly making her feel far less uncomfortable than before. He ignored the Meditite as she started to run around the tent, until she almost literally hit him on the head with a clay pot, containing something that would repulse even a Grimer, with both its look and odour. "No, thank you," Don Corleone said firmly, his voice containing its usual coldness.
Time flowed slowly inside the tent, until someone else had unexpectedly entered the tent. "Well, finally," said Vito, clearly annoyed at the Growlithe's insubordiante disappearance, while he was supposed to be the Duskull's bodyguard. "What took you so long?" Don Corleone asked, although not in the mood to tell the Growlithe off. Before Aristarchus could even answer, however, the peace and quiet of the whole tent was disrupted, as a rather idiotic Seel, in Don Corleone's opinion, at least, made his sudden and quite rude entrance, flying through Vito and landing on top of Tania. He had to admit, however, that he approved of the way the Meditite handled the interference.
While not exactly privy to the events outside, the Duskull not even bothering to simply drift through the silk walls of the tent, he waited for Tania to return. Despite his expectations of the Meditite returning with the Seel almost completely roasted, he found that tent had to be magically elraged, in preparation of hosting an Onix. It seemed like everyone around Vito was going crazy. Along with the Onix, the Seel and a Porygon were also invited inside and, even though the tent was large enough for everyone to fit in, it felt really crowded.
Having heard Tania's accusations, however, the Don just had to interrupt. "Tania, stop dramatizing," Vito criticized the Meditite for her behaviour. "If they were from the police, you'd lready be captured. Besdies, they tend to fund their agents fairly well, and just look at them," he continued, possibly insulting most of the new-comers. "It's obvious they are not here after you, so calm down and get yourself a cup of that disgusting tea, or whatever it was that you tried to serve me," Don Corleone finished, now slightly fed up with the whole fuss his ex-supplier created.

Kedar squinted- he could have sworn that the second he looked away from the tent, something else had already entered it. Perhaps it was simply a wild pokemon, and she shouldn't be worried about it. However, his instinct told him otherwise; there was something going on in that tent, and his curiosity was pushing him to try and find out what exactly it was...
Before he knew it, he could hear a faint yelping coming somewhere from in the forest. It actually sounded somewhat close to Kedar, but what could he do? He couldn't exactly hide. That'd be a bit noisy, and on top of that there would be a huge hole in the ground! But then again, why should he hide? He was bigger than anything else in this forest, aside from some trees!
He shook his large head, clearing his mind of these thoughts, just in time to see a Seel rush into the tent. What was a Seel doing in the forest in the first place? Though, he should be asking the same question to himself. He eyed the tent closely, cursing himself for being so large. If he were smaller, he could definitely go in and see what was going on. Being this size had it's advantages, of course, but other times it was simply frustrating.
A sudden snap of what was presumably a twig immediately caught Kedar's attention and his head quickly turned in the direction it came from. He tensed, readying himself for a sudden attack, but relaxed when he saw a Porygon stopped beside him. Maybe that one knew what was going on in there! So, why not ask?
"Do you know what's going on in there?" he asked, his voice low but friendly.
A split-second later, a meditite was running out of the tent, presumably after that Seel that had previously run out as well. As soon as the tent grew several times larger, Kedar managed to slither in, nodding toward the Meditite in thanks. After realizing there was already others inside, he shrugged mentally and grabbed the drink with his tail, but didn't take a drink of it just yet. He listened to Meditite closely, then nodded his large head.
"That sounds about right. I was actually above ground for once..." At Meditite's assumption that they were cops, Kedar let out a throaty chuckle. "I'm no cop. I was indeed roaming before I slithered upon this tent."

Aristarchus looked toward the duskull, rolling his eyes a little bit as he was reprimanded for falling behind. As Don Corleone demanded what had taken him so long, the growlithe turned to face him, looking up at the floating ghost-type as he spoke. "I can't teleport, and you kept vanishing." he said, his voice a bit accusatory. After all, it was the duskull's fault that he'd lost the pokemon he was supposed to be guarding. It was a good thing he had already learned how to follow a scent very well, and also a good thing that ghost-types had such a distinctive, easy-to-follow scent. Otherwise, Aristarchus might never have found Don Coleone at all without help.
He was distracted as the meditite greeted him and revealed that she already knew who he was (if not his name). He nodded slightly, watching her bustle away to fetch a dish of something that smelled absolutely fantastic. He lowered his head, sniffing at the concoction. It might have looked a little less than appetizing, but it smelled marvelous. The hot spices (or whatever it was) within the drink made the growlithe's nose tingle, and he grinned. He was anything but picky about food, but he did love hot, spicy foods, and spicy drinks were few and far between (actually, he couldn't say he'd ever had or heard of one before in his life, come to think of it). He did have the manners to introduce himself before he actually lapped up the beverage, however. "I'm Aristarchus, by the way. Don't call me by my full name though. You can call me Ari, Risto, or Archus. Whichever you want." With that, he lowered his head again and dipped his tongue into the substance. It was tangy and spicy, with an interesting texture to go along with it.
Aristarchus enthusiastically lapped it up, only looking up when the seel burst through the tent flap, flew right through Don Coleone, and landed on top of the meditite, sending them both skidding across the room. Remembering his duty to protect Vito, Ari stepped between him and the two others, but it soon became apparent that the meditite (whose name he still didn't know) could handle herself. The seel went flying out the tent door by a well-placed thunderpunch, and Risto poked his head out of the tent to see what was going on outside. He was in time to see the seel and meditite walking back towards the tent, a porygon in tow, but ducked back in without turning his ehad enough to spot the onix (although he had heard another voice and knew there was someone out there). When the onix finally did move into the tent, Risto let out an excited yap. "Kedar!" he called, pulling the rock-type's attention downwards to where he was standing. "What're you doing here? I haven't seen you in ages!" he grinned, panting lightly as he moved aside, allowing the others to crowd into the enlarged tent. It was crowded in here, but the growlithe was used to that. The caves back in the mountains that had housed his old gang of pokemon had been crowded as well, considering how many of them there were, and it felt comforting.

Seel directed an evil glare to the Meditite, Then began to speak of his Story. He looked at the others, Apart from Tania, To see who was listening and watching to what he was about to speak of. He had been bruised by the Meditite for what she had done. Although he was deeply sorry for his interuptance, he did not want to show his apoligies, At least not when Tania was there. He peered outside the tent, Into the black nothingness of the Night. It was totally dark at these stage and seel was getting weary of his Trainer.
Catching his breath, he managed to utter a few words. "Ma Ma ma ma my.... T T t t t t t ." said Seel who appeared to be shaking still. It was as if it was a freezing cold Night, Though it was a warm Night. It wasn't that this Pokemon was cold. He had something on his mind. he had alot on his mind. It was as if he was scared of this very Forest. He began uttering some words again. "I.. I.... I don'... I don't feel very comfortable here." explained Seel.
"Ca.... Can... We ta... talk somewhere el... else? Plea... Please?" asked Seel who was almost sweating and felt uneasy. He peered outside the Tent to the Dark Night. The Moonlight shinign brightly. He panicked and his Heart was beating faster. "We nee... need... To lee... Leave..Thi... This place now... now." insisted Seel, Just before he made a squeel of Pain, And collapsed right on the Floors of the very Tent.

After hearing the Don's comment Tania got a little fussy and fussy is an understatement. First he ignored the drink she gave him, second he gives out to Ari and third, he begins saying that she's overeacting even though he should know what she has had to go through all these years and the suffering that she had to endure with her ex-trainer. A small tear barely escaped her eye before she began setting up seats for everyone, doing it all half-heartedly.
She then listened to what the pokemon had to say before letting out a sigh. "I guess I'll believe you all and I'm sorry Mr. Seel for the punch in the face but youshould really learn to watch where your going" said Tania, laughing slightly. She then turned to all the pokemon and saw the Porygon acting oddly. "Are you okay?" asked Tania before watching the Porygon dash out the door of her tent. It was a pretty strange thing to happen. She merely scratched her head before turning back to the others.
She handed the Seel another drink this time placing it gentley in front of him. She smiled and listened to what the Seel had to say. He stuttered a lot before collapsing. Tania ran up to the Seel to check if he was alright. He was sweating a lot. He seemed to have a very bad fever. "He's gotta fever, even I don't have the medicine to help himn here" said Tania panicking. She tried to think of what to do but then it hit her. "Mr. Onix, we'll need you to carry this Seel to a pokemon centre, we'll follow behind with you" said Tania as she levitated the seel onto the gargantuam pokemon. She then rushed everyone outside before turning towards her tent. She began using psychic on it and it collapsed into a neat little package that she rolled up and put in her bag. She then set out with the group to the next pokemon centre. She knew that they were pokemon but they had no other choice.

Don Corleone pushed Ari's excuses away with a sudden motion of his hand, his purple eye seemigly going ever so slightly paler and making the air around the Ghost drop in temperature. "That's no explanation!" he shouted unexpectedly, lowering his body so that his face was right before the Growlithe's. "When I hired you, I expected only the best! What you've shown me was pure disrespect, and that is the only thing I ever demanded of you!" he continued, feeling as if Ari had insulted him in every possible way. "Act like a man, for heaven's sake!" he finished, turning away from the Growlithe dismissively, and floating over to the opposite wall of the tent.
Watching as Tania shed a single tear, head down and shoulders sunk, Vito couldn't help, but sigh. Again, she is overreacting, the Don thought. As usual, Tania can be a true drama queen whenever she wants to attract attention. In Don's opinion, there was absolutely no reason for such behaviour from the Meditite's side. So he refused her drink, so what? By offering Corleone something like that, she should really have expected that kind of reaction. Fortunately for her, he was not in the mood for another lecture on disrespect.
Completely disregarding the Porygon's odd behaviour and her sudden outburst as she shot out of Tania's tent, Don Corleone decided to focus on the Seel's case. Watching with disapproval written all over his face, as the Pokemon flopped over onto the cold ground, as he began to utter completely incomprehensible gibberish. Another weakling, Vito thought to himself, sighing. He should really be ashamed, making a fool of himself like this. Whether there was something actually wrong with him, the Don did not know, but it certainly looked like a mental instability illness to him.

Immediately after hearing his name being called, Kedar's head turned to the ground. That was out of habit, of course; he hadn't met someone in a long while that he could face (almost) eye to eye. His eyes darted everywhere, trying to find the source of the word. When he spotted a Growlithe on the ground, not too far from him, he squinted a bit. His eyes widened when he realized who exactly it was.
"Risto!" he called, his voice sort of booming. "It's been much too long!" He grinned, nodding as an informal greeting. "You know, I've just been traveling around aimlessly. Got nothin' going for me!" He laughed, shaking his head as if he couldn't believe who he was standing next to. "How have you been, friend?"
He glanced at the Seel who had collapsed, wondering what in the world was wrong with it. Why had it suddenly fallen like that? It must be sick... Kedar felt the sudden urge to assist, though he wasn't sure what could be done. After all, he was only a mere snake.
"Carry him?" He asked, slightly surprised. But, he quickly nodded and lowered his head so Seel could be placed there, only to see that Meditite had already lifted him to rest there. "Sure thing," he said cheerfully, nodding again.
"You guys can hop on too, unless you'd rather run behind me." He smiled, and would have shrugged if he could. That was him, almost always offering his help where he could.
Kedar waited for a few moments, allowing plenty of time for any others to jump aboard if they wanted, then began heading the direction the meditite had spoken of. He wasn't completely sure if a Pokemon Center was necessary, what with those pesky humans, but he dismissed that, figuring helping the Seel was the top priority here.

Ari tilted his head to the side, watching as the porygon suddenly turned and zipped out of the tent. His ears were perked, and he twitched a little as though he wanted to give chase (and as had, indeed, been his initial reaction), but he held himself back. Instead, his attention reverted to Don Corleone, who was shouting in his face. He growled quietly, but bit back any sarcastic remarks as the ghost-type floated away to the opposite side of the tent. Hey, he was the one hiring Aristarchus, so if he didn't want him around any more, that was fine with him. He'd rather be running through the forest than stuck in a tent anyway (even if the drink the meditite offered him was great). So he decided not to remind Don Corleone that he, unlike the ghost-type, could not teleport from place to place, and simply lapped up a few more swallows of Tania's juice.
He shrugged a little at Kedar's question. "Pretty good. I've just been doing this and that, you know. Listen, I've got an awesome idea that I think you'll like..." but he was distracted from his present conversation as the seel suddenly collapsed. Honestly, Risto hadn't been paying much attention to the ice-type in the first place just because Kedar was in the room and he wanted to talk to the onix. His tail had been wagging quickly back and forth, his tongue panting out in excitement, but both now stopped as he poked his nose forward to sniff the seel. He smelled okay. Feverish, sure... But he wasn't poisoned or anything, and that was the main point, after all. He looked at Tania as she quickly organized what could only be classified as a rescue party, and he grinned a little bit.
Kedar lowered his head to receive the seel, then asked if anyone wanted to climb on as well. Risto shook his head. "No thanks, Kedar. You know I like to run rather than ride." he grinned and trotted out of the tent ahead of them, enjoying the cool air for a few seconds before Kedar and the others emerged as well. He decided to scout around to make sure there weren't any other pokemon around who wanted to bother them. Besides, that would give him an excuse for running ahead and back again, and he needed to get some energy out anyway. So that was exactly what he did: he ran ahead, then doubled back a little while later to check on everyone. When he made sure they were all okay, he dropped back to Kedar's tail and tried to jump on.
He landed the first try, but was tossed off a moment later. He rolled in the grass, snorting, and ran to catch up again, this time making a flying leap for the larger rocks a little further up on the onix's tail. This time, although he had to scrabble to make it, he was able to clamber up and began running up Kedar's back until he reached his head, where he stood next to the seel. "So... Want to hear my idea?" he asked, panting in excitement as he anticipated Kedar's reaction.
