After leaving the group, Randy finds that her Green Egg is hatching! Why a cute little Cherrubi burst forth into the world!
"Hi little guy." Says Randy to her newest Pokemon.
"Tor!" Says Blaze in greeting.
After her egg hatched, Randy decided that since it was about noonish, and her tummy was growling, that it was time for lunch. So she sat down under one of the many trees on Isabella Plains and pulled some bowls and pokefood out for her Pokemon, then some sandwiches for herself.
"I'll have to think of a name for this little guy." Murmured Randy to herself.
Meanwhile, they were all having a good lunch--Randy and Blaze the Cherrubi, Medi, and Sandy. Although this was the first time out of his ball (since Randy had adopted him), Medi seemed more interested in eating than provoking the others, at least for now.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day. The sun was shining brightly, making it pleasantly warm (or even hot) in the sun, while a fresh breeze blew through, cooling anyone below just enough that the sun wasn't bothersome. The only thing that might bother some people about a day like today was the allergies. To anyone with allergies to such things as grass or pollen, it was a nightmare. You could see the pollen blowing through the air in some places, it was so thick. However, most people were blessed with perfect health in this category, and so were able to enjoy the day without a good deal of sniffling, sneezing, and nose-running. Jareth did have some mild allergies, but nothing too severe, and his allergies pertained to hay and whatnot, so wouldn't kick in until summer.
It was the day after visiting Oak, and Jareth was doing a bit of backtracking, so to speak. He was in a bit of a rush to get home so that he could visit his mother, but he'd wanted to go back here to see if he could catch some wild pokemon or maybe battle another trainer before he left for home. Then, he might have something new to show his mother. After all, it would definitely be good for her to see that he'd been productive while she was away (other than training Adokas almost to the point of evolution, of course). He'd brought some food along with him, which was packed in the bag hung on the back of his bike, along with his favorite suede jacket and a book on calculus, which he'd decided to brush up on just for the fun of it, and to see how much he'd remembered from his studies in highschool.
Adokas, the little nidoran, ran alongside him, his little legs pumping quickly to keep pace with the bicycle. This wasn't actually part of Kas's training regimen (if it could be called such). Jareth had offered to give the nidoran a rest several times, but stubborn little Kas wasn't hearing any of it, and he continued to run alongside the bike without complaint, although he was admittedly getting a bit tired what with running through the tall grass and leaping over logs and stones and whatnot.
It was then that Jareth spotted a trainer up ahead, with a couple of pokemon at her side. He normally wasn't too sociable, but he hadn't spoken to anyone besides Oak and the innkeeper ever since he'd left Sky Reach city... Jareth debated stopping to talk to her, and he kept his eyes on her as he slowed down, deliberating on whether it would seem odd of him to stop and speak to someone he hardly knew. Adokas offered no advice, simply slowing down along with the bike, and barely even glanced at the other trainer himself.

The first Randy knew that they had company was sighting the bike heading their way. When the bike drew closer she called out a friendly greeting, "Hello there! Would you like to join us for lunch." She had a little to spare, if necessary, although she hoped she wouldn't have to feed too many more mouths besides her growing "clan".
Before the boy and his Nidoran (m) arrived under their tree, Randy had figured out a name for the newest member to her team. "I dub thee Rudy." She said with a flourish to the little Cherrubi. The day was warm, and she felt a little sleepy, but still up to a battle if the opportunity presented itself. Though she didn't know the disposition of the other trainer, who now drew abreast of her little luncheoners.

Jareth could just barely hear what the girl was saying, but Kas seemed to hear her perfectly, because the nidoran slowed down and looked between Jareth and the other trainer a few times. Jareth took the cue from his pokemon and slowed his bike down, turning it around partially and off the path. It was a bit of a slope downwards to where the girl sat, so Jareth simply coasted, applying the hand-brake slowly until he finally slid to a halt not too far away from the other trainer and her pokemon - a torchic, cherrubi, meditite, and pidgey. For a few seconds, he stood half-on and half-off the bike, before Adokas finally snorted slightly, looking up at Jareth as if to ask him whether he was actually going to say anything or not.
"Hello." was the only word that came out of the trainer's mouth. He wasn't actually awkward, just unused to speaking with people he didn't know, and actually he was rather surprised that the girl had invited him over. After all, she didn't look even Oak's age which made Jareth wonder briefly if she was actually a trainer, or whether she'd just left home for a picnic with her pokemon. He wasn't about to be rude enough to ask that, at least not directly, however. After all, Jareth had always acted older than he actually was. He'd left highschool when he was probably right around this girl's age. So, trying not to make any presumptions, Jareth put down the kickstand on his bike and got off, watching as Kas approached the group, and then following the nidoran.
Kas walked towards the group, breathing a bit heavily from his vigorous run, which had lasted nearly 45 minutes straight already, and wasn't about to end any time soon. The nidoran had no desire to get back in his pokeball, however. He had decided that he could rest when he and Jareth got back to Sky Reach. It was a hard bike ride for his trainer, and it would be an even harder run for him, but he was determined that he could handle the run. Before that though... There were people to meet here, and more importantly there was a perfect spot to have a meal as well. He approached the group, directing his greeting towards the nearest pokemon. <Hello. Name's Adokas.> he introduced himself. <That's Jareth.> he nodded his head back at his rather taciturn trainer, nut offered no more introduction than that. Neither pokemon nor trainer were social butterfrees, it seemed.

"Do you want a sandwich?" Asked Randy, when the other trainer gave his simple but pleasant greeting, holding out one of hers toward him.
"Tor!" Said Blaze in a general greeting, which meant something like, <Hi, I'm Blaze! Nice to meet you, would you like to join us for lunch?>
Rudy and Sandy added their greetings, "Cheru!" "Pido!"
Medi remained silent, and continued eating, throughly ignoring the newcomers.
Randy continued, "So I'm Randy, I'm a traveling Pokemon trainer, and you are?" She figured he was probably on a Pokemon Journey too, although she couldn't be sure, and she tried not to rush to conclusions--that sort of thing could get one into trouble right quick at times! He seemed pleasant enough though, and her Pokemon didn't seem to mind him or his Pokemon, so it was probably safe to talk to him, at the least.
