FlashBack: (Where the story left off) Time has passed since Mayani got ready and left her house for the new andventure in the Remoor Region. Her first stop was to go to the Pokémon Lab but she had left her purse and bag full of clothes in her room at her house! So she had to run all the way to get it and just in time before her mother was about to leave. Mayani then continued her Journey to the Pokémon Lab and was rewarded for her efforts by becoming a Pokémon Trainer. When she was introduced to her starting Pokemon, Grista, Professer James told her to take care and have fun on her Journey. She was Lucky to get Grista because they were rare! Afterwards she headed out the door and off she went towards route 1...Where she is now.
Mayani arrived from down the road from the Pokémon Lab with her new Grista gently in her bag. She then walked happily along the path of Route 1 looking for new Pokémon to catch. She finally got her first Pokemon, and she was so amazed that she got a Grista for a starter beacuse that Pokémon is one of her Dream pets.
She then thought "Today is the best day every of my adventure in Cheyenne, What do you think Grista?" Mayani then looked at her Spheal and Spheal replied, " Grista... Gri. (This is the best)" The young, Male Grista gazed at Mayani with a warm smile and then rubbed against her. "Hello little one, how are you?", Mayani asked. Spheal turned her head to face Mayani and gently replied with a "Gri.. Grista. Gri(I am doing good since I meet you)"
Mayani then walked up to a large oak tree and sat near it with her trusty Grista by her side. She and Grista had now walked a very long way and both of them were tired from their journey. Mayani sighed and softly said to Grista "Me and you have already bonded and hopefully we will find other Pokémon who will to." Grista knew what Mayani was feeling and sat comfortably on her lap. "Grista.. Grista.. Gri. (Don't worry we will find other Pokemon)" "Oh Dear, Grista I haven't named you yet, I am so sorry," Mayani smiled. " I am going to name you WildFire after the one that happened to the region of Sinnoh." " Plus the name suites you just well because you are as wild as one too," she giggled. Lastly, they took a long breath and hugged each other.

--Theodore A bright gleam emanated through the clearing. Seeming to come to the left of Myani and her new Grista. This was soon followed by the red of a young boy's t-shirt, and his muffled voice as he struggled to free himself from the bush he had become stuck in. With a rip and a flurry of red fabric the boy srode into the clearing, his well manicured hand pushed a pair of red rimmed glasses up the bridge of his nose, where they settled. Both of his dark brown eyes were fixed on the pair, and his face was straight but the words that came out was indicated at a straight backed Meowth, who was now standing behind him. "Such a open display of affection--Especially for a new and inexperienced trainer." The Grista could have ripped her face off.
At the young boy's side the Meowth let out a mew, that may or may not have been agreement. Of course what it really meant was: <Hello to you Sir Grista, and sir female human.> even if the human couldn't understand the polite little kitty figured that introductions needed to be made. Standing up straight he offered a clawed paw out to the pair. He was ashamed of how everyone in this forest seemed to run around with a crooked back, like common animals, even his own species! It was prepostouros. No matter.
"As a trainer I do command a oppositional contest bewtween your Grista and my Meowth." Pausing here he shoved his glasses abck on his nose, silently cursing the damn things for beign so easy to slip on and off, and choosing to do it on their own so damn often. Of course saying that wouldn't be very sophisticated, and it would tarnish his intelligent image. Not that she knew he had one.

Mayani then saw Theodore and smiled because she heard that he wanted to battle. She knew though that she was new to battling here and wanted to find out some good stradigies before she went to the new gym. Also, she really wanted to see what both WildFire and her could do as a team but she then thought "Would he listen to me?" "Of corse he will because he is a obeyable pokemon," she said confidently in her head. As Mayani gazed down to see what pokemon he had to battle with she smiled because she thought that Meowth was a good pokemon to battle against.
"Theodore, I accept your challenge to battle; And even though I am new to battling here I do have alot of battling experience from the Sinnoh Region.," Mayani spoke clearly and confidently. "WildFire, What do you think? Are you up for a battle to test your strength? asked Mayani sweetly. Gris...Ta.. Grista (Sure I am always up for one), howled WildFire in a indomidable attitude. Mayani knew that he was ready to battle nut she wanted to choose one of his moves very carefully.
"Ok, WildFire use your peck attack," yelled Mayani. "Grista.. Gris.. Gris.. (Ok, I will try my best to win) howled WildFire once more but in a more soft voice. WildFire then used his wings to help him jumo up higher and then got ready to dive onto Meowth with his Peck attack. He knew that if he messed up that the trainer, Theodore, would think he was weak and WildFire always wanted to be indomidable. He used all of his might as he dived down to hit Meowth with his attack.

Theodore watched the pair, why consult her pokemon? Any faithful pokemon would be out o the field, ready to win by now, not talking about how hard they were going to try to their trainer. Not that the studious young man had any idea what the Grista was saying. Looking up at the bright blue sky he positioned himself a hundred yards away from the young woman. He had considering his positioning, and had picked a spot where the sun's glare would be minimal ,and not impend he or his Meowth. Turning to face her he let a smirk cross his pale pimple-pocked features. "Well miss you really didn't have a hcoice." It was true. If you made eye contact with a trainer then you were required to battle.
'This shall be one on one." Theo stated with a slight nod of his head, both of them only had a single pokemon after all. It made sense, but just to make sure she had no reason to call him a cheater later. Beside him the Meowth let out a quiet call, which was firected at the Grista. Theo thought it meant he was impatient to be battling, and with a swing of his arm sent his meowth out the field. In Reality the Meowth had been saying: <Good luck to you Grista Sir. May the best pokemon win.> Judging by levels alone that was the Meowth himself.
Theodore figured that 10 seconds was suffiecient for the girl to prepare. "Use ---gro-wl yah." The boy replied hesitantly , his minds gears ground against eachother, trying to tell him that attacking first would have been better. The Meowth let out a deep throated mew, his yes watering, this was his version of a growl. "Follow it up with an--oth--no a--no back to a --ummm use a" The Meowth could predict a order to attack when he heard one, claws outstretched he jumped towards the Grista, and swept out with both claws.

Mayani gazed at Theo with a unsure look. Why was he talking t himself she thought but she knew it must have been about her or her pokemon. Mayani then ignored that factor and her focus went back to battling. She then looked at the Meowth and noticed his power, posture and his strength. Such a good pokemon to always obey its trainer and she just knew that wildfire would predict her moves one day too. She really enjoyed this first battle so far because she just wanted to find wildfire's weaknesses and advantages.
"Grista..Gris..gri (Good luck to you too Meowth and Thank You)," replied Wildfire politly. Mayani then looked at Wildfire and then at Meowth. She knew what wildfire's attacks were but she didn't know what meowth's were. "Ok, Wildfire dodge and then into another peck." shouted Mayani in a confident voice. Wildfire then nodded to Mayani and replied, "Gris..Gris(You got it)." Wildfire got the message so he tried to dodge and he did but he was only a hair away from getting hit. After he dodged he got ready to switch to an offensive position.
Once again, WildFire then used his wings to help him jump up into the air higher and then got ready to dive onto Meowth with his Peck attack again. He knew that if he messed this up that he wouldn't ever be able to win this battle and prove that he was no okemon to mess with. Then, Wildfire gathered up every bit of strength he had and once again dived towards Meowth.

<You are welcome gracious Grista.> The Meowth said with a nod of his head. Only in the scape of battle were manners not the most important thing to uphold. In battle it shifted to third, before it was maintianing your HP, and the second was cooperating with your comapnions, human, trainer, pokemon, or pokemorph. So unless asked a direct question in battle he would be a fierce battling beast, but he would try to answer any non distracting contests as tactfully as possible. The Meowth stumbled ever so slightly forwaed when his claws hissed menancingly through the cool forest air. "Dodg--yah." The Meowth didn't even need that order. Jumping forward he landed on the heels of his feet, dancing nimbly out of the Pecks way. Waiting until the Grista was firmly back on good old Terra Firma he dove forward.
Bringing his claw around in a backhand, he listened as Theodore mumbled quietly to himself. Still debating between countering and defending for the next attack. The Meowth was primmed and ready to go, driving his right paw forward in a clenced fist he shot it up, hoping to distract the Grista, then he came in briskly with his left, this punch was aimed towards the nose of the little Grista, which would hopefully smart, if it made contact anyway.
