Love is like a double-edged blade. It’s a thing very rare to find, perhaps so rare that real love could consider a legend for most people. It’s a precious gift that people grow to love and truly adore but there is a more darker side to it also. A relationship like love is a delicate one that could break with a mere little snap and when broken it would left the person suffering behind in pain and anger, cursing themselves that they spend their time building such a thing. This was how the young woman felt when her relationship ended up in betrayal. She had always loved her lover and he often used sugar-coated words to warm her soul but the moment he was reunited with a woman he had forgotten about her and after she punished him he had left her life. Somehow she was even thinking she would have sworn herself never to experience such a thing as love, for it was just a stupid thing that made her feeble and fragile. Still did such things really matter for the young Saber? Her past was not of any importance to her and she focused on the life that went on right now.
A cruise ship had set sail to the Remoor region, a region where new adventures laid in the wait. A adventure was something many desired to have? It actually came to people on its own. Most people started their first adventure the moment they gained their first Pokémon and others simply got engulfed in one as they grew older. The young woman her adventure was not just a simple run to get the badges of the region, for that was a ordinary thing many trainers already undertook but rather she was going to earn a lot of money and build a shrine. Why would a guardian, someone who could be considered a bodyguard had any interest in building a shrine? That was easy to explain. Saber was very religious and wanted to build a shrine of her own in honor of the mighty Arceus, the creator of the universe. Her father also found use in her dream, for Saber was a skilled Guardian and if she would open a shrine she could also build a guardian school with it, and teach the young children into becoming strong guardians. That truly sounded like a good plan from him, and so Saber was send to the Remoor region.
The cruise ship was sailing across the ocean for a few days already and now was the final night they would spend at sea. The young Saber was not really someone to spend the time indoors sleeping all the time, she searched it up higher and was seen standing on the deck of the ship. The young woman was dressed in the black work attire of a guardian and if it wasn’t for her ponytail people might had thought she was a guy, for the thick jacket didn’t betray her gender. The young woman raised her hands, that had been wrapped in black gloves before fully raising one toward her head and brushing aside a few loose locks before releasing a small sigh. It was truly a boring journey, hopefully things would get more interesting soon. Deciding to put this moment to use to make her Pokémon relax the young woman her hands had slide toward her belt, tugging the two red and white colored orbs from her belt before swiping them into the air, making them burst open in a bright light. The first creature that appeared resembled a large rock, perhaps enough to match the frame of a young child, still the rock wasn’t just a ordinary one for it had two large arms and a face, a face that seemed to had been as calm as the expressionless face the woman had, serving as a flawless mask. The other creature at the other side was slightly larger, a red colored lizard with a gentle burning flame on her tail. The Charmander looked to be pretty playful for it happily swung her tail sideways and started running around her trainer while making cheerful sounds.
“… You sure are exciting like always Rin.”
“Char Char!”
The young woman her eyes wandered toward the ocean, that was brightly illuminated by the lights of the boat and the moon light that shone down over the ocean. It was truly a beautiful night. Actually as she gazed toward the dark ocean she couldn’t stop but wondering how long the tranquil peace would last. Turning around again the young woman knelt down and smiled softly, her eyes gazing at the Geodude and Charmander as she motioned them to come closer. Raising her hand slightly she gently patted the two on their head before taking their Pokéballs and making them return into their shelter. It was soon the sound of footsteps reached her ears and the woman stood up, turning around swiftly she saw a man running into her direction, being dressed in the familiar guardian costume before he made a polite salute to her. What was someone doing outside so late? Unless it was the night patrol most guardians should have been asleep already. Curiously the young woman her eyes wandered over the man before she nodded her head softly, perhaps in confirmation before she seemed to be wondering about something for a mere few seconds, soon forsaking the hesitation and answering in a strict tone.
“Name, division and purpose of disturbance guardian.”
“Hakouro Tashimuro, division F and I came to tell you that it’s nearly midnight my lady, perhaps you should get some sleep?”
The young woman nodded her head softly, turning around before saying a swift good night as she walked off, entering one of the cabins. Closing the door behind her the young woman snapped on the light and gazed toward her cabin. It was a pretty comfortable cabin, a long red carpet of the highest quality Mareep wool could offer was spread over the floor while a round table in the middle of the room, of course being surrounded by a few chairs. At the other side of the room was another table with a laptop and a TV next to it and finally there was a bed against the wall. Yawning slightly tired the woman moved toward the closet that was located next to the bed and opened it, taking out a pair of Pajamas and switching into them. Soon the young woman had crawled into her bed, falling asleep and leaving behind the world for tonight. The next morning the cruise ship had arrived at the region, stopping at the harbor while the young Saber arrived at the outskirt of the town, seemingly a little lost as she stood there, waiting for something to happen.
