Name: Legendary Giratina (Real name is 'Adaron', though no humans and few legendaries know it or dare to speak it.)
Gender: Male
Race: Giratina
Age: Unknown, though born shortly after Diaruga as a result of the time Pokemon's coordination with Parukia.
Sexuality Preference: None. He can't breed, and he has no sense of what love is, anyway.
Appearance:
Giratina has, perhaps, been warped beyond the true point of being a dragon, though he retains the shape of a sauropod. Standing at 14'09, he cuts a powerful figure, and weighs a heavy 1653.4 lbs, even if he is partially a ghost. His body is silver, and his neck strongly extends upwards, black streaks littering his body, bloody red eyes glimmering. A constant pattern of red and black continues down from his neck to his underbelly, every heavy plate of armor shining.
He has an impressively metallic sheen, three bent extensions of bone wrapped around his neck and bright golden in pigment, an armored 'helmet' covering his chin and most of his head with two ear-like projections and horns. Each of his six legs bears three gargantuan claws, and is guarded by another mutation of his ankles, which are also made out of solid gold.
He could be considered to have wings of sorts, though they are rarely used for fights and often for intimidation. Ragged and black with three crimson horns protruding from the end of the wing, they are slightly too small to carry him far distances, though they are still used. Similar to a deadly basilisk, the crescents littering his body often emphasize his figure, his petrifying stare freezing all those who look into his eyes for too long.
In general, Giratina is similar to a horrific nightmare, an illusionary chimera created by a child's vivid dreams... but he is far from a dream.
Personality: Perhaps Darkrai should not be the Pokemon branded as evil... there are damned Pokemon, but Giratina is truly the epitome of sadism. He feels no pity, no pain, and has an ego larger than the planet itself. Death seems to follow the embodiment of demons, who allies himself with no Pokemon and no trainer. He expresses no sorrow for Pokemon or human, instantly distancing himself from the rest, who usually have at least a feeling for the former.
Blood literally sends Giratina into a frenzy, making a Sharpedo turn a bright green with envy, the reality-dragon gladly showing that his domain of the void consisting of absolute nothingness has not softened his hide or his thirst. Preferring to play with his food, the Pokemon is infamous for having a tongue sharper than steel... perhaps that is why the few people who have ever even tried to talk to the Pokemon either ran away screaming or simply never returned. He takes great pride in his role as the phantasm of nothingness, though this has made him bitter and cynical- after all, Diaruga and Parukia are revered... but where is his cheering crowd?
If anything, Giratina only spares those who are strong- humans are just annoying, yapping little creatures, which is probably why he never speaks their tongue, and only listens to the Pokemon that are so 'pathetically enslaved' by human beings. Of course, on the creation order of things, he isn't much higher than him... but does he care? No.
He has no sense of trust, love, or caring, and hates those who speak of the other legendaries so reverently, though Arceus is, perhaps, an exception. No legendary truly seems to want to align themselves with the rude and cruel creature, who defies every code of law and ethics created, and those that could be created in the future. After all, he is a rebellious beast, and one who believes he is in his own class. Why should he be categorized with those other ignorant fools...? He's far too smart for them... or, at least, he is in his own mind.
All he wants is to gain the fame and fortune he arrogantly believes he deserves, and to kill a few things along the way. Nothing wrong with that, right?
History: The... odd duck? The black sheep? The wolf in sheep's clothing? Nobody knows what to call Giratina, who often sleeps in a very own dimension... the 'spirit world', as humans call it. Cursed to isolation from his so-called birth, Giratina was the by-product of space and time, therefore representing the unknown darkness, and its wicked properties. The beast was a legend, supposedly standing on archaic graves in the middle of nights, before its existence was confirmed after several sightings.
He's a legendary that almost never shows himself, simply finding himself too busy to bother with being chased by slack-jawed, awestruck trainers. Labeled as a reaper, the flying nightmare often did nothing but eat for a while and then fly back into his own 'dimension', the pocket in existence where he alone may sleep. Embodying darkness, many feared him, and because of this he grew quite cruel, no longer feeling any concern towards the apparent new threat known as Team Pravus, or even just an average trainer hunting for a unique Pokemon to selfishly call their own.
Human speech came to him after years of watching funerals... and he still enjoys watching the occasions, no matter how repetitive and monotonous they may be. Perhaps the only way to truly catch the Pokemon out in the open would be to sit around a graveyard where the recently deceased had been buried...
Why him? Why did he have to be born if his only purpose was to serve as the acolyte of the night? All he can really do is fight, kill, ruin lives, and listen to the souls of both humans and Pokemon screeching in the truly otherworldly domain he calls home.
He is certainly one of the more... disturbing legendaries.
