Exploring new places, that was the thing what Pokémon trainers wanted right? Having exciting journeys and much more, it truly sounded interesting, getting your first Pokémon on the age of ten, leaving your home to start traveling and becoming a Pokémon master. But did you ever stand still by the fact some people never would have a Pokémon, or even the chance to hold one? This was how things had been in the lower city of Daragon. The city was truly turned into chaos, buildings collapsed and only debris remain, and those lucky enough lived in small tents and cottages. It was truly a chaotic place of poor people. They would never have the chance to become a trainer, because they didn’t have the money to leave the island. She was lucky enough that her parents gathered enough money for her to the trip to this new region, and now she was on her first adventure ever…
The bus was driving across the road, silently driving past the beautiful scenery the region possessed. Green grass fields occasionally mixed themselves with flower fields and trees with bushes surrounding it. Outside things had been quiet and peaceful, perhaps because it was still early in the morning? Why was it still so early? Because the sun started to slowly peek from behind the horizon, tinting the clear blue sky with a orange shade. The sunrays shined down on the earth, waking up the early birds in both the human and Pokémon population.
When the bus was been illuminated by the sunlight it shown two people had been inside the bus. The first person had been a man, perhaps slightly past his twenties while he was dressed in a simple brown jacket and a matching jeans. He skillfully moved his hands on the driving wheel, making certain not to get off the road or move too wildly and disturb his passenger her sleep. He turned his head slightly when he heard the sound of clothes being ruffled behind him. Turning his head slightly the man noticed the thick black colored coat that covered the two seats at the other side of the bus, with a small hill raising from bellowing it. The man smiled softly while returning his attention to the road.
Once more the hill under the cloak moved slightly, and after a few seconds slide down a little revealing a little head that peeked from bellow it. It was a girl, perhaps a very young one at that also, her head was formed just the way it should have been, not too round nor was it too oval shaped. The skin of the girl was a clean white color free from any blemishes, perhaps it was even slightly pale from a lack of sunlight. The girl her eyes had been shut closed, her hands closely to her face and her knees curled up slightly making her look like a little hedgehog trying to find some protection. The girl was dressed in a not so ordinary attire, she was wearing a Chinese uniform that was made from long white stocking with black borders, a black skirt and a white shirt, but the outfit remained hidden under the cloak, still the most easiest to notice feature was the hair bans that decorated her chocolate brown hair.
Finally the rays shined upon the girl, and once they reached her eyes the girl shuffled slightly before crawling upwards. The child sleepily stretched her arms in the air before moving one of her hands to her mouth, in order to hide the small yawn that escaped her. She lowered her head when the man smiled toward her and with a gentle smile she whispered softly.
“Good morning mister bus driver…”
“Good morning missy~ Had a nice sleep?”
The girl nodded her head slightly, she had indeed a nice sleep, perhaps slightly troubled by the fears she had about how her family would have been doing but it was all right, everyone feels slightly home-sick when their journey started. The girl suddenly placed her hands on her stomach, that had released a soft little growl to show it was empty and with a laugh the man tossed her a little bag.
“Eat something before you start your adventure.”
The girl nodded once more, slightly curious about what the man would have and upon opening it the girl noticed there was a metal orange colored can inside it with a pair of melon pans(breads) wrapped in plastic. The girl smiled happily as she moved her hands toward the top of the can and clicked open the slip, taking a quick sip from it. It truly was tasty, After taking a few sips she grabbed a melon pan, unwrapped the plastic and started to gently biting the edges of it, and so working closer to the center of it.
“So little missy? What kind of starter do you have in mind?”
The girl turned quiet upon the words of the driver, stopping right before she was about to take a sip from the can as she seemed to start thinking about something. Indeed what kind of Pokémon would she get? She was thinking about something interesting… Each Pokémon had their own advantages. A grass type had been more easy to train, and grown to become stronger as they became older. Water Pokémon had been pretty balanced between offensive and defensive. And fire Pokémon had been very great in the offensive. Perhaps she might have a strong type like a Scyther? Or perhaps a cute one like a Torchic? She truly was curious about what kind of Pokémon she would meet.
The man extended his hand in front of him, pointing toward the little dots that started to form ahead of them. Soon those dots started to form into buildings from a mere cottage to a large house, but they simply had been driving past the town, to stop right in front of the laboratory. Finally she arrived, at the very doorsteps of the laboratory. The girl had quickly folded up her cloak, stuffing it into the bag while the man said some suggestions and given her some advice before he driven onwards slightly, to stop at a row of people.
The laboratory truly looked spectacular for someone like her, who never seen one before. It was huge, and might had held even many different families to live in, she wasn’t really certain if anyone else than the professor and his or her aides would have been living inside it. Actually why did someone even give away Pokémon for free? Shrugging her shoulders slightly the girl gently knocked on the door. For someone who always needed to steal receiving something for free truly came as a blessing.
“Umm… I’m sorry to disturb you all but I have come to meet the professor.”

Large as the lab was the knock reverabated through the main room easily. Drowsy eyed and heavy lidded a Alakazam picked his head up from off his crowded desk and yawned. The tips of his mustache quivered as the door slowly creaked open. Bending his right hand ring finger a doormat on the floor let out a few, rather rude words. "Wipe your feet, knock, or I clean the lab with your face." It was obviously the same voice as the one Bill spoke in seconds later.
"Why else would a squirt like you be here?" Through half closed eyes he appraised the girl. She was to small to be a messenger, so she was another one of THEM. Of course today the professor wasn't indoors. According to him it was much to beautiful to be inside , in the dark. Bill had to disagree of course, it was in his nature.
With a ill tempered sigh Bill waved towards the kitchen, in the back of which the greenery of the outside was visible through the backdoor. "He's out there. Do not touch anything." Monotomic and dull as it was Bill's voice still had a compellign element to it. One that told of horrible consquences if you disobeyed. James was the only one who ignored, for he knew Bill would never intentionally hurt anyone.
------
The day outside was pleasant for the most part. The tempature was on the warm side of the thermoter, the only problem was the col breeze that occasionally whipped through, drawing a shiver from the spine of those caught in it. Yet the moderated backyard was pleasantly warm. Mostly due to the fact that the breeze was cut off by a pair of faux mountains.(wood/mache ones).
James was currently in the middle of the yard. His cane was resting on the ground to his left and the baby Grista and a female chickorita were sniffing it curiously. Nearby a Gible and a Selibulb tussled on the ground. The rest of the baby pokemon were reclined around a troph munching on their daily suppy of food.
Upon hearing Bill gesture to him the professor panicked. She had probably already seen the rare pokemon, and would ask for one! What choice did he have. Pasting a smile on his serene face he yelled towards the labratory. "Come on out lass, and bring that bucket by the door with you!"

The girl closed her eyes while taking a deep breath. What should she do? Actually what did she plan to do? Should she be a good and kind trainer and ask the professor for a Pokémon, or should she make her little dark nature play in the sin called thievery. In the end having all the starter Pokémon was much better than only a single one right? The girl felt the weather today to be pleasantly warm. The sun rays now had grown stronger since it was slightly past the morning hour, and the occasionally cold breeze was refreshing. The girl gently stretched her arms as her eyes wandered toward the side of the laboratory where the large bus had stopped. It seemed the bus driver had stepped outside, stuffed some bags inside the storage spaces and make everyone enter the bus. The man seemed to had noticed her stare because he looked into her direction, smiled warmly and waved before stepping on the bus. A few seconds later the engine turned on and the bus dissapeared The girl somehow felt a invisible burden rest on her chest. A feeling of loneliness overwhelmed her. She might had been a thief but she enjoyed company also.
The moment the door opened, perhaps slower than she expected the girl was about to step inside when she moved her feet back instantly. The small doormat in front of her seemed to had moved slightly and sudden spoken in a tone even more arrogant than spoiled brats at her home! The girl had to do her best not to turn into a enraged mode and start yelling at him but all that happened was that smile… That innocent smile that appeared on her lips, her eyes softening slightly. She gazed up ahead and noticed the huge creature holding the spoons in his hands. It must had been a Alakazam! The strong psychic Pokémon looked to have no troubles communicating with the human language since she easily understand his words. The girl bowed slightly as she stepped on top of the doormat, perhaps shuffling her feet stronger than normally on the doormat as she spoken in a soft and cheerful tone.
“And you better learn some manners mister Alakazam or I replace your spoons by some teddy bears.”
The girl stepped inside, her eyes silently gazing inside the laboratory. It looked like the professor was not in here. Only a Alakazam with a disturbing behavior. Perhaps that was why she found a Gardevoir to be a more interesting Psychic Pokémon. Alakazam spoken once more calling her a squirt. He truly was not really kind wasn’t he? He was so rude she wouldn’t even want to steal him! Actually if she would try he most likely would lift her upside down with his powers. Actually now she thought about it, stealing Pokémon didn’t sound like such a good idea, at least in a laboratory. If the professor found it out she would never be able to gain a Pokémon, and she would also be arrested by the police for thievery… What to do… Take the hard but perhaps rewarding road or take the safe path and get only a single Pokémon? The girl looked around, because in the end this was her first time in a laboratory. The lab looked pretty interesting. Still she thought it might had fit with a old man, professors had been old men or women right? People already in their elderly age wearing long white doctor coats. The girl looked toward the desk where she hoped to see the professor, but the only things there had only been a pile of papers. Against the walls might had been some book cases with many different kind of books inside it, she wasn’t certain since her gaze was only aimed at the Pokémon in front of her. After the huge creature released a sigh he waved into the direction of what seemed to be the kitchen and as curious as she was, since she was still a child the girl had silently walked closer toward the kitchen. The backyard looked pretty pleasing and maintained, and perhaps it was still warm since the yard was surrounded by small mountains.
The girl silently gazed toward the beings that populated the place. Many different Pokémon seemed to have filled the yard, and they truly looked healthy and adorable to see. The girl her eyes widen slightly at amazement as she noticed the many rare Pokémon she never seen before. It looked like a person was inside the yard, a man resting on his cane. He didn’t looked as old as she expected him to be. But he seemed to already been older than the average trainer she thought. The man looked into her direction. The man smiled gently, and somehow she felt glad he didn’t had a bad way of acting like that Alakazam she met earlier. The man yelled something about a bucket and the girl lowered her head into the direction near the door. It seemed a wooden bucket was filled with something she didn’t know what it was had been. Most likely it had been food for the wild Pokémon. Nodding her head slightly the girl grabbed the nearby bucket and dragged it along with her, trying not to spill anything on the ground. The girl smiled softly at the pleasant weather outside. This really looked like a Pokémon paradise. Perhaps they truly enjoyed being here. The girl came to a halt a few steps away from the professor and placed the bucket on the ground. To say the truth she was curious about the idea she had. Was there truly food for Pokémon inside it? Feeling slightly curious the girl lowered her hand inside it, and after scooping some of the stuff into her hand she knelt down and gently extended her hand into the direction of the little Chickorita. The girl in the meanwhile had raised her head into the professor direction as she spoken in a polite tone.
“I’m sorry to disturb you professor, my name Tsuyuri Tsukishiro from the Kanto Region, I heard that new trainers could receive their first Pokémon here so I came to have a check. Sadly enough I won’t be able to give any money since I spend all my money on reaching the region.”

After the girl had left Bill allowed his sleep y mask to sink into one of amusement. This gir lhad some spunk, and he ouldn't help but find that amusing. For the most part his rudeness was a test from him to see how they handled it. Surprisingly enough no one had tried to hit him or James yet, which was a good thing around a Alakazam at least 10 levels above fifty. The professor had stopped keeping track after Christmas when they first obtaiend the job, mosty because it didn't matter anymore. Allowing his muzzle to lift in a small smirk he closed the door leading to the front quietly. He didn't want any more disturbances.
The professor nodded as she set the bucket on the ground. Inside there were three dividers, the top was divided into three more parts, and each of these was filled with a different kind of food for the young pokemon, and those he had been left to take care of. Realizing it was polite to greet his guest standing up he grabbed his cane, and foudn the Gible adhered to the other end of it. The long teeth of the shark liek dragon crunching into the wood. "Oh let go, your foods over there you little pest." Of course wit ha smile on his face thw word pest lacked the insult it normally was meant to bore.
Shaking the stick he pried from the creatures mouth, yet when he tried to stand up his back gave a audible creak and he opted to sit back down on the dewy grass.
"I am professor James mahoghany." Upon hearing her words upon money he couldn't help but chuckle. What had the lab over there told this girl? "Its free dear, since when do you have to pay a interest fee to make a friend?" Even though a few of the pokemon climbed over him the professor didn't seem to mind them to much. After all he was thetre when they hatched amd had done all kinds of things to him. ---- The red eyes of the chikorita seemed to glow as the granules were held out to her. Yet instead of eating them the female dove forward towards Tsyuri's chest and tried to knock her to the ground. Seconds later the other pokemon(minus a few shy ones--such as the phanpy) were thundering towards her and the bucket. ---

As she gazed toward the bucket once more she finally understood it was food that was inside it. The girl felt curious what the difference was between Pokémon food and that of human. Why did they eat different kind of food? It always made her curious about that one little detail. The girl gazed into the eyes of the little grass Pokémon when she didn’t instantly took the food. Was it not the type of food she enjoyed? Perhaps such species liked different meals? When the little Chikorita suddenly moved closer and tried to tackle her to the ground the girl her body reacted on its own.
What was the use for growing up in a harsh and cruel environment? That was a interesting question many had. For your health it would have not been a good thing, many people turned ill from the lack of food and such. Still those that lived in the debris of what once their great city turned different. They become stronger, smarter and more alert than most people of their age. And little Tsuyuri was the same. The moment people thought she might had lowered her guard people would have been in for a surprise, because until now she never trusted anyone else than her parents.
The girl her body swiped backwards, the hand that held the food instantly twisted backwards, resting against the ground while she swiped her body sideways, in a attempt to evade the little grass Pokémon her attack. For her the action the Chikorita did looked pretty hostile, and might have wanted to harm her so of course her body reacted in a defensive way. Her free hand turned upwards and was now above the Chikorita. To say the truth if it was a human her hand might had turned into a fist and she would have crushed it against the head of the person who attacked her. But she had to keep up the act of a kind person, so her hand swiped downwards and gently patted the back of the little grass Pokémon as she spoken in a soft and gentle tone.
“I’m sorry if I offended you, I didn’t know Pokémon’s eat different kind of food depending on their type and species.”
To say the truth she thought the Chikorita had very bad manners, and she might need a very though trainer who would teach it to be more kind. It was only when she was getting into a normal position the girl noticed the bucket had fallen on its side, the food it contained spread across the ground. It seemed this fact resulted in the appearance of other Pokémon who appeared out of their shelter. Many different Pokémon moved toward the bucket and the food that was now spilled on the ground and the girl her eyes widen slightly. There was a certain Pokémon that catch her attention. It was the little baby Elephant like creature that shyly moved in the crowd of Pokémon that came to eat the food, and the little one seemed to have planned to eat also.
“So cute…”
For the first time in many years those words had not been said by the innocent side of her she used as a guise, but it was what she truly thought. The little Phanpy looked so cute! The girl her attention was distracted from the little Pokémon when the professor started speaking, and instantly the girl her lips curled up in a smile when she saw the shark-like Pokémon bite inside the wooden end of the cane. It looked like the professor had troubles standing up again since the girl decided to simply sit next to him, since the weather was warm enough to enjoy sitting on the ground.
“It’s nice to meet you professor~”
The girl bowed her head slightly before she tilted her head toward the side lightly. Why did the man started laughing all of sudden? Did she say something funny? When the man explained her that getting your starter Pokémon was free the girl her eyes widen slightly. They had been for free? Pokémon for free? A thief most likely would faint from the sudden rush of pleasure they felt in stealing something that was for free but the girl felt pure shock overwhelm her, even when the innocent smile on her lips didn’t show it. Her parents always told her nothing was for free. Everything required a pay in one way or another and if it truly was free than something was fishy about it. Still this seemed to be a pretty honest case. The girl her head turned back into the direction of the fallen bucket, her eyes softening slightly as she gazed into the direction of the little Elephant baby. So her starter would be free without any charges? The girl felt slightly curious what kind of starting Pokémon the professor would offer. Would she be allowed to get any interesting one?
“… Don’t you feel sad? Parting from the Pokémon you raised and love?”
It was a strange question, but the curiosity was there, and perhaps even a little sadness and pity. The professor would have one Pokémon less once a trainer came to get a Pokémon. The girl her lips moved slightly, but not a single word left her lips. She remained looking toward the little Phanpy, a gaze of concern and perhaps love for the real innocence the little baby shown. Somehow she envied it. It was really as pure and innocent as a baby, unlike her who’s innocence was a guise of the colder person she really was. The girl raised her head, looking toward the rising sun that now peeked slightly above the rooftop of the laboratory. Now what was going to happen? Somehow she lost the desire to steal his Pokémon. She just wanted to take a normal start as a kind Pokémon trainer, and share a bond with her first friend ever.
“How does a trainer pick their first Pokémon professor?”

The Chikorita landed on the ground a confused espression on her face. From between her lips a single sound emerged, her head slowly twisting to the left side as she peered up at Tsyuri. 'Chika?'<Don't you know I was playin'?> Of course the girl wouldn't understand that, but no doubt mom would decide to translate. Her pair of big red eyes turned towards the professor, almost bgging him to translate.
"Tsyuri dear she was only playing, she wouldn't have hurt you." It was obvious this girl didn't know the difference between play fighting, and life and death situations, hopefully that wouldn't effect her general attitude as a trainer later in life. If every battle was a threat then that meant that she had trust problems, but the professor couldn't help her with those.
The Phanpy caught the girl's gaze, and squeaked. Seconds lter he was lying, trunk down on the ground, both of his front feet oscuring his face, although it was obvious he was peeking.
"They all are dear, and yes it bothers me but they usually find a good hme, and if not can usualyy fid their way back." The few incidents where the usually didn't reply made the professor want to strangle the trainer. Bill and himself tried to make sure they were suitable to be trainers but sometimes as in all systems rotten things find their ways through ther holes. "Besides if i didn't hand them out why have a lab?" He had spent years justifying himself, yet every once and a while he regretted his decsion.(See the usually sentence)
The professor smiled. OS many traienrs thought it was a complicated screening process. Well at this lab it wa, but if she picked one of the rarer types he had no right to say she couldn't have them, if the pairing worked so be it. She seemed to need someone to trust anyways. "Well merely tell me which one you want, or point to it. Then I can teach you a for thigns and you can confirm if you wnat that one." Staying turned the opposite way from Tsyuri while turning his head to talk to her was leaving a crick in his neck.
So he turned back towards the pokemon and watched them trying to disguise the pain in his neck, just by not turning around anymore.

Was it really alright to trust a stranger? In the end a Pokémon you didn’t meet before was a stranger also. The girl titled her head toward the side as the Chikorita started speaking in her own language. It seemed she was trying to explain something. Somehow her confused expression and the way she sounded she didn’t look hostile at all. Was she just playing? But how could she knows the little Pokémon was telling the truth? Pokémon could be very cruel at times? Indeed…
“I’m sorry… My reflexes reacted on their own…”
The girl rested her hands on the long white stockings that covered her legs. Perhaps those that known her, or see the thing she hidden might instantly be worried asking if she was alright but it wasn’t like that at all. The wounds didn’t hurt, they simply remained in her mind. The scars those Pokémon left behind. She didn’t hate Pokémon, nor at all… It was just that somehow when she thought a Pokémon would act hostile against her that she was defensive herself, preparing to defend herself from harm. The professor explained her that the Pokémon didn’t mean a harm at all. She just wanted to play. The girl nodded her head slightly, extending her hand toward the Pokémon it’s direction and gently patting it on her head as she whispered softly.
“I have you can forgive me~”
The professor had answered her question, explaining each one of them was dear to him. It was normal right? He raised them from when they had been babies. They had been just like his children in a way didn’t they? But the thought of a Pokémon running away if they didn’t find a good home was slightly scary. What if her Pokémon didn’t like her and ran away? That would truly be horrible, not only would she be alone again but she would be worried about the little one at that also.
The professor told her what the use would be for a lab if it didn’t hand out any Pokémon. Indeed he had a point, laboratories had been famous starting points for people on their path to greatness. Perhaps a adventure to even more than just that. She still remembered how the small laboratory was at Daragon city. They had many interesting Pokémon for trainers… But they had cost money, lots of money. To say the truth it was so much you could even buy a whole house from it. The girl closed her eyes, gently relaxing thanks to the soft wind breeze that blown against her cheeks. It was truly a great weather today.
“I guess that’s true. Not everyone is such a kind person and might use Pokémon for evil deeds.”
The girl thought about her own words for a while. Was she talking about herself? In the end her Pokémon would assist her in her adventures, and she might have to steal things to be able to send her parents money for food and such. But she wanted to forge a friendship with a Pokémon, one that would last forever. She always wanted someone she could depend on and have fun with. The professor told her to point to a Pokémon or just tell him the one she enjoyed. There had been so many cute ones. The little Chikorita that looked more kinder all of sudden, the small land shark that was playing around and the many different Pokémon that dwelled near the bucket of food that was already half empty. Still it was easily guessable the one she wanted to have. Her hand raised itself and with a gentle smile she pointed into the direction of the little Phanpy who was peeking into her direction.
“Is that one available professor? It looks really adorable, and it’s shyness has a certain charm to it.”
The girl kept on smiling gently, she truly liked the little Elephant already. It seemed the professor now remained looking at the Pokémon, the man really must have loved Pokémon. He was kind, gentle and understandable. Just like the people she known back home, or at least the poor people. The richer ones usually avoided anyone from the under city, as if they had been vermin affected by a unknown dangerous disease. The girl her lips moved slightly as she started speaking.
“I’m from Daragon city, the lower city to be exact. Many of the people I know live in poverty and poorness. To say the truth in my city people think having a Pokémon is a privilege. The laboratory back at my home town asks a high pay sum for getting even a single Pokémon so nobody in the lower city can effort one, let stand even have a Pokéball. Of course moving away would be a wise choose but the ferry tickets are very pricy… Still my parents had collected enough money for me to pay the traveling costs to this region and now I’m trying to become a strong person who can give everyone in Daragon city back the live they deserve.”
There was not really a need to give such a explanation, but somehow her heart reacted before her mind did. Daragon city was known as a city of crime, because the police in the lower city rarely took any actions, perhaps because of the lack of manpower or even resources. It was truly a city avoided by most people. The girl gently stretched her arms into the air before lowering them again and looking into the direction of the innocent little Phanpy.
“I’m sorry to occupy your time with some ramblings about my past professor. I guess you must have better things to do than listening to the nonsense of a child.”

The Chikorita nodded sagely. Of course t was still the youngest pokemon in here, and had no idea what the word reflexes meant. Closing her eyes happily she chirped a high pitched reply. 'Chika~chi<tis kay human!> She was so proud of herself! For once she didn't re[;y like a spoiled child and stomp on the ground when she had been pushed aside.
When the hand gently patted her head a tremor ran through the small creatures body. A happy sound like wind blowing through the grass emitted from her vocal cords, a chikorita's way of purring. Although it temded to make other pokemon drowzy, and led to grass whistle eventaully. She was depressed when the hand lifted away.
---- Upon seeing the hand pointing his way the Phanpy stared around wildly. Realizing where the hnad was pointing he lowered his ears over his eyes and snorted quietly. On top of his ears he laid his large feet, yet his red tipped ears were still listening. Not to mention quivering as the conversation continued.
Charming? She thought he was charming? That poor human had a few screws loose in her hair covered head. Cute? Hadn't she said that? Was she blind as well? If so , poor lass, if not she needed a strong eyeglass prescription.(OOC:PHANPY'S ARE ADORABLE)
---
"Him?" The professor appraised the girl for a few seconds and slowly nodded. The little fellow had been one of the first special pokemon in the second shipment. While he may have been shy he was older thn most of them. "He is cute isn't he?"
"Daragon City? I've heard of it quite a lot, and well your not the only one who grew up someplace less then satisfactory. Do you know the professor's name? He sounds like a crook to me." There was nothing wrong with living in poverty, the ;professors hometown was probably just as bad. Unlike some of the other professors he had fallen into the job and had not been chosen for it.
The professor peered at her oddly, raising a hand to his hat and turning his head ignoring the stab of pain. "I have nothing else to do--oh how I wish I was you right now! The fresh air, the beauty!"

The girl silently observed the Phanpy when he covered his face with his large ears. He truly looked adorable and she was famous for having a weakness with cute Pokémon. The girl loved those that had been cute or graceful, making both a Ninetales and a Gardevoir her favorite Pokémon. Still those that been cute could also use their cuteness to hide their strength, just to use it at the largest moment of surprise. The girl nodded her head slightly, the Phanpy did look sturdy and strong and might form a good partner once she formed a bond with it. Her lips moved slightly as she continued speaking.
“But I think it’s the fact that he can hide his amazing strength behind the cute innocent look that truly makes him more amazing than others. People might see him as a little cute one but I’m sure if that Phanpy gets angry he might be as dangerous as a Houndoom.”
She felt happy when the professor agreed with her on the fact the Phanpy was a cute Pokémon. Soon afterwards the professor told her he heard about Daragon city before, not that it was a surprise for her. Perhaps most people known the city from its high rate disappearances and such. It was truly a chaotic place at times. Soon afterwards the professor asked if she remembered the professor his name. The girl shook her head slightly, the professor, like all those in the higher city usually tended to have more harder to remember or different kind of names, like as if they had been from a different language. Romanian and European names frequently had been used in the naming style of those richer people.
“Is anything the matter professor?”
The girl had noticed the facial expression of the professor had changed slightly before he turned his head away all of sudden. Was he hiding something? It indeed looked that way. It was not that she blamed him. She had hidden pain many times, the scars on her legs luckily only had been visible when the sunlight shone from a certain angle, and even if they did shine on her legs right now nothing would have been seen since the white stockings covered her legs until above her knees. The child her gaze returned toward the surroundings silently observing them.
The backyard seemed to had been made truly for many kind of Pokémon. Small bushes had been spread around the place, here and there a little tree and nearby she even noticed a small pond where water Pokémon had been enjoying a dip in the cool water. It was really a calm and peaceful place to sleep at. She understand why the professor might have enjoyed being here and working with those Pokémon, they sounded pretty interesting.
The professor started speaking about the fresh air that filled the sky, at least it was here that it was fresh. The stench of fabrics and other industry was not really the air she preferred. The beauty, with that she truly agreed. This region seemed to had been very beautiful and she would have loved to travel inside it. But for that to happen she would need to have a partner first right? And what then? What would she become?
A Pokémon trainer sounded interesting. She could start practicing in battles and grow strong and famous so that she could one day gain lots of money for her family and friends back at her home town. Still It would be a hard and perhaps dangerous road, so she would need to think about it carefully. She could also take a try for a Pokémon Coordinator. Fighting in contests to show the bond between herself and her Pokémon, it truly sounded beautiful to do something like that, and perhaps even winning them. Still her decision was made, she would take the path to fame with the friendship of her Pokémon, or at least she hoped they would accept her.
Once more the girl her gaze returned to the Phanpy. The little one seemed to be very shy, but it was strong, there was no mistake possible about that. Also later on it would grow stronger, much stronger and evolve into a huge fearsome Donphan. Such a Pokémon was even strong enough to tackle down a whole house! The girl made her decision, she would take the Phanpy as her starter Pokémon. Looking back toward the professor the girl spoken in a cheerful tone.
“Then I would like to take that Phanpy as my starter Pokémon professor.”
Still there was one little concern that remained in her mind. How would she take care of it? She didn’t had any money, nor a place to live. They would have a relative hard life she guessed. Still she would take good care of him, like a real friend would. Her thoughts returned to the words a rich person she met once said to her. Pokémon are only for people who deserve Pokémon, people who are rich. But those words now shown to be only lies, since here she was, standing in the laboratory, or better said the backyard of the professor and ready to choose her starter Pokémon.
“To say the truth professor, is he a he or a she?”
To say the truth that question remained in her mind for a while. She though the Pokémon was a he, at least he thought it was a male Pokémon. But she might had guessed wrong. So it never hurts to ask right?

"Phanpy's can be very dangerous, but this little fellow isn't that much to worry about." The professor replied allowing his eyes to look over the body of the Phany. Who to tell the truth was a little on the heavy side, because he was personallly fed by Bill nad the professor, who thought the other one always forgot to do it. Just as the friendly professor neglected to remember Alakazzam as one of the smartest pokemon in the world.
"Nope Tsu. nothing for you to worry about." Shortening the name was usually a way to make someone feel trusted. The professor merely shortened her name to make it easier to say aloud. In all truth the professor was used to taliking to Bill, and hiss Venusaur, no humans factored into his usual life. Unless you counted the new trainers.
Reaching into the pockets of his lab coat he fished out a Pokeball. Painted on the bottom was both a pink and sky blue line going parrelel to one another. Underneath these two lines there was a small pencil 'P'.Nodding he held it out to Tsuyuri and waited for her to grab it. Her mind was obviously set, and she would be hard to make change her mind.
--------- The Phanpy saw his home pass hands and he shifted his gaze to 'dad' confused. Even if his questioning stare was invisible under his ear the human would know. Why am I going aways? Did the professor hate him? Did he eat to much? Was Bill throwing him out after thw dirt he had tracked into the house? That was probably it! Bill hated to sweep and mop and the Phanpy had tracked mud in during a thunderstorm instead of waiting for a bath. ---- The professor looked at the Phanpy, a sad smile on his face. That Phanpy had probably forgotten about the fact that he was to given to a trainer one day. Of course when he had gotten here he was to scared to pay attention to whats going on. "Before I give you this you are sure you want that Phanpy correct?" Yes. She was. There was a instant connection from her to Phanpy, but as of yet it didn't extend back the other way.
(OOC:Oh my god that was horrid XD)

The girl silently gazed toward the little Phanpy when the professor did say Phanpy’s could be dangerous. Luckily for her the professor reassured she didn’t need to worry about this one. Silently her eyes gazed back toward the body of the Pokémon and it was now she noticed the fact he was slightly thicker, or perhaps the word muscular would have been better to use. This was not necessary a bad thing with enough training she might have been able to made him fast enough, and the fact he was so strong might had make him a good close combat fighter.
The professor reassured her nothing was wrong, perhaps it was only her imagination? Still it was slightly strange the way he acted a while ago, her mind simply shrugged it away, perhaps if he didn’t want her to worry she shouldn’t need to spend so much energy in wasting it. After the professor finished speaking he seemed to had taken something out of the pockets in his lab coat. The girl silently inspected the round colored orb. It looked to have been a ordinary red and white colored Pokéball, but it had two beautiful lines traced along the bottom of it and a small P on it. This must had been the home of the little Elephant Pokémon.
The little Phanpy still was hiding his face behind its long ears. Didn’t it feel worried and sadden about the fact it had to leave behind its home? She would certainly have if she would have needed to leave behind her friends and family. Perhaps he did feel sad, but he didn’t shown it to everyone else, his worries perhaps hiding behind the long ears that covered his face.
It looked like the professor understood his Pokémon very clearly, because a sad smile appeared on his face. Perhaps happy his Pokémon had found a new home, but maybe also a feeling of sadness since he had to depart with the little one now. The girl felt slightly worried. Wasn’t it kind of cruel to take away someone’s home without their decision? But in the end a trainer actually did that a lot when they had caught a wild Pokémon.
Now the professor had ask her that vital question. Was she certain she wanted this Pokémon? There had been so many cute Pokémon. There was the little fire chick, the adorable little Torchic. There was the playful little Chikorita or even the amusing land shark. But somehow her attention remained drawn to the little Phanpy. The little adorable Pokémon that was strong at the same time. The girl nodded her head softly. She was sure about her choice. There was nothing else to decide right? She already loved the little Phanpy the moment she had seen it. But how would she gain it’s trust? It didn’t really looked like it wanted to leave behind its home. The girl started speaking once more, using back the tender and warm voice she spoken earlier with.
“I’m sorry for taking you away from here Phanpy but I’m planning to start a journey and explore many different places? Perhaps you like to join me? I’m sure we can get along with each other.”
Perhaps the little Phanpy might had doubts about the ability she possessed as a trainer. But that was normal right? Every starter Pokémon might had felt that when they met their trainer for the first time. Still she hoped he would trust her someday. In the end it might had been a task for her to do the same, but how could their partnership proceed if only she would be the one trusting the other?

The Phanpy picked up his head. Her voice didn't scare him like some of the male humans. Well except for 'mom' and 'dad' they all frightened him. The little fellow knew he coudl take on a female, short human, but the males would be harder for him to run away from. 'phanp?'<I haven't a choice, nopers.> Of course the nod made it sound a bit less cowardly and depressed. It might as well be here, before he got sent to the rock gym leaader he was getting old after all. "He said he'll go so.." Without turning his head the professor reclined his arm back. Then with a quick flick of his wrist he sent it lazily spinning towards the new trainer. Hopefully she would manatge to grab it before the ball went ver teh fence and into the small hedge on the other side. The bird pokemon on the other side were rather dangerous, and included a injured, slightly insane, Skarmory called Amor. Seconds later the professor turned back to the girl and smiled. "After you return him to his pokeball there should be a yellow bag in the center room, grab that and Bill should let you out. Should is the key word JamesA telekintec voice echoed dully through the professors brains as he clapped his hands over his ears. Happiness… A moment when someone truly feels happy and good. It’s a moment that comes and goes as quickly as the wind that appears in a sunny day, but still we all love it. Somehow this must had been the emotion the girl felt. For the first time in her whole life she could be happy, happy without any fears, worries or concern. Somehow it all sounded like a dream, her starter Pokémon would be such a adorable one at that also. Somehow the Phanpy seemed to had finally agreed to her offer, perhaps slightly against his will but he seemed to agreed on the partnership. Somehow when the little baby Elephant Pokémon nodded she thought in herself that he truly was adorable! This strange warm sensation in her heart must had been the result of the actions of this little one. While he might not had thought he was cute or adorable he actually really was! The professor started talking, telling her the little Phanpy agreed with joining her team. The professor seemed to had grab something, before tossing something in the girl her direction. She had to be quickly or the ball might had flown over the fence! Still she was a thief wasn’t she? She was used to quick and agile actions so her left arm swiftly swiped upwards, her fingers gracefully surrounding the Pokéball that landed in her hands. It looked like everything was going along fine. Still not everything was complete yet. She had yet to give the young Phanpy a name, unless she wouldn’t use a nickname. The girl thought for a while as she extended the Pokéball in front of her.
“Hmm a good name for you… Perhaps I should call you Aarde, because you’re a ground Pokémon.”
The girl smiled softly when a red beam surrounded the little Pokémon, and soon engulfed it, returning it into its Pokéball. After a few seconds the Pokémon had returned into its ball it seemed the professor still had something to say since he turned his head into her direction and explained a bag with stuff was waiting for her on the desk inside the room. The girl nodded her head softly as she started speaking.
“I thank you for your hospitality professor, and hopefully we meet again someday. I be taking my leave now. Farewell~”
And with those words the girl stood up, silently walking back inside the laboratory, with the small Pokéball in her hands. Somehow as she walked back inside she felt a strange feeling dwelling inside her. Now she had her Pokémon, what path would she take? Would she become a Pokémon trainer? A breeder or perhaps a Coordinator? So many choices awaited her, but to say the truth she thought about being both a trainer and coordinator. Once inside the girl noticed the large brown backpack was resting on top of one of the desks. Perhaps it was already prepared beforehand or maybe the Alakazam did it? Who knows? Nodding her head in a greeting toward the Alakazam named Bill the girl gabbed the bag and turned back toward him saying in a cheerful tone.
“I guess it’s time for me to leave now See you mister Bill~”
