Name: Legendary Maerie
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Age: 24
Sexuality Preference: Straight
Appearance: Maerie is just like a strange looking flower. Strange, but right. Her skin is light with a slight tan, just a small amount of blemishes. Her eyes are bright green and her hair is long and thick. But her strangest feature is her hair purple color. It reflects her persona. You don't need to be beautiful to be powerful.
Her face is not a very complex shape. It's oval structure makes Maerie look soft and kind, and she is. Her wispy bangs are usually parted straight up the center and pulled back behind her ear. This also leads us to her clothing choice. Maerie loves sundresses; she wears them every day with a matching sun hat.
Personality: Maerie is just what she looks like. She is kind, fun loving, and a little bit on the shy side. She talks to her pokemon and shares her feelings with them. Although she may seem defensless, few know about her real path on life. She is a gym leader with awesome power. Usually gym leaders are proud and selfish, but Maerie is over that steriotype. She is sweet but believes in herself and her pokemon.
The way she acts and dresses is just the same as she feels on the inside; strange, but right. She may think it's just her sometimes, but she always has the comfort of a nearby friend. She can be quite a talker and is one sharp knife, so watch what you say because it could turn into something completely different in her mind.
History: Maerie was born in a hut near a river. She never knew who her father was, but rumour told that he was a powerful trainer. Soon after her birth, her mother abandoned her at a nearby town orphanage and left in the middle of the night and left Maerie alone for 14 years of her life.
During these fourteen lonely years, Maerie never had a true friend. She had few aquantances that she could talk to but she would mostly stare out the window and watch the city life, staring on as the generations moved on and she was anchored to the old building that she lived in.
After 38 years, the orphanage ran out of money and had to let all of the unadopted children go. Most of the little ones stuck together and stayed in the town, hoping to find a happy home to live in. Others left the safety of the village to the world beyond. Alone and abandoned, Maerie left without a tear shed or andy regrets. She was gone from everyone's life just like she came into them.
Roleplay Sample: Maerie opened the cuboards in her gym. She looked over her shoulders and saw her Baileef prancing around behind her. Maerie smiled and turned around, smiling widly at Bailee. The grass pokemon let out a happy growl and pounced on her, nearly knocking Maerie flat. Easy there, Maerie scorned, petting the pokemon. You wouldn't want to hurt me, would you?
