Miro shoved his hands inside his trouser pockets, dropping his head to the ground. They had finally reached Route One, but they're wasn't much to look of it. Miro shuffled his feet and looked over at his partner, Tyrogue. Well, one of his partners. His other team member was Sandshrew, but he had strongly suggested that it'd be better if he just stayed inside the pokeball instead of in the open away from safety.
Miro wasn't really sure why being with him and Tyrogue wouldn't be enough safety. But Sandshrew had been a little nervous about leaving home, away from Miro's mother's cooking. Now all they had to eat was basically what they found or could or could cook.
<What?> Tyrogue asked his trainer. Of course Miro couldn't speak the pokemon language so he had no idea what Tyrogue was saying. He only got a hint of gestures that made him guess what he was saying.
"Nothing," Miro said back, picking his head back up and resting it onto his shoulders. He pulled his hands from out of his pockets and placed them behind his head to keep it up. Tyrogue rolled his eyes and continued to walk Route One's path.
"Wait up," Miro said, walking rather slowly behind Tyrogue's back.
The two were excited and anticipating Route One, but nothing here seemed fun. At least, not yet. 'Course Miro never expected everything in a pokemon trainer's life to be adventure-filled. Eventually something would happen. Tyrogue looked behind him to check on his slow trainer.
<Stop sobbing over it.> he said, turning his head back to the front. Miro sighed and let his hands drop to his sides. He walked a little faster to keep up with Tyrogue's pace
"I got it already. Time to wake up," Miro said, letting his excitement rush through him. "Alright! Miro has entered Route One!"

It was a stupendous day in route one at that. The sun shone down through the forest, turning the leaves into bright green jewels. The sky above was a beautiful powder blue, a few clouds to the east indicating a refreshing rain later in the day. The happy noises of many pokemon permeated the forest, and the smell of summer wafted throughout.
With such wonderful weather not many paid attention to the trainer and his pokemon, after all on such a loud day, they were just more noise added to the natural orchestra. The human was the only exception--after all their language was odd compared to that of the Pokemon.
A loud song echoed around the clearing, the voice of a young girl raised, her voice echoing to the beat of the radio beside her. A mop of short green hair hung closely to her head, and a pair of gentle orange eyes glinted through a fringe of bangs. A Sunkern bobbed happily around her head--occasionally joing in with a happy "EE". The girl was dressed in a short yellow tanktoo--and a long pleated skirt of light orange. Nearby a few Pidgey's watched Quizically. A sentret or two did as well--they knew that this girl was friendly, and would not harm them.
Willow was a common sight after all.
Then she caught sight of Miro. "Why hello there! How are you!" She yelled to be heard over the pounding pop music. Turning the stereo off she walked over to the trainer, and knelt down.
With a smile she threw her arms around the Sandshrew, broke the embrace, and then pinched the Tyrogue's cheeks. "Well aren't you pair just the cutest little couple! So cute!" She squealed, a smile lighting up her face.
The SUnkern bobbed around her in circles and then stopped. <Hello there you two! I am SON! I am really glad to meet you!> He hummed, dancing around her head like a mad man. Then he stoppe.d <So why are you all out here?> His trainer was still knelt in front of the Pokemon, and then she turned toward Miro with a sigh. "why you must be their trainer! Such a sunny nice day to meet you!" She said with a smile, in the clearing the Pokemon glanced around.
It was obvious they were confused--why had the pretty girl suddenly stopped their concert? The Pokemon were open for attack if that was what Miro wished.

Miro's face lightened up when he heard the sound of music. Wait... music? Pokemon didn't play music, or did they? Was Miro losing it all of a sudden? Tyrogue didn't seem as surprised as Miro did, but Sandshrew was starting to act up. His conscious was telling the music was a bad thing, but he soon changed his mind about it when they walked up to a spot where a girl was, singing. Miro felt his clumsiness beginning to take over him. It wasn't everyday he saw a pretty girl surrounded by pokemon.
Crap! I'm gonna act stupid in front of her. Miro thought sadly.
As he heard the girl yell at him, he looked up and saw her run over to him and his pokemon. Sandshrew struggled in his hug, still unsure of the girl, but she seemed to be nice. Especially towards pokemon. But Tyrogue took another opinion upon her. To him, pinching his cheek was a bit too babyish, even if he was one himself. He didn't like being treated like that and his cheek had a very light red mark on it now due to the pinch.
Oh... never mind. Not my type at all. Miro thought relieved. Now his clumsy-self would come out and screw things up.
Sandshrew looked at the sunkern jumping around. He began to feel nervous around it's shining happiness. <Um...hello...I...we...> Sandshrew stuttered. He ducked his head and covered his eyes with his paws. Tyrogue help Sandshrew to stand back up on both feet and relax.
<I'm Tyrogue. And this is.... Sandshrew. Our trainer and us are here to train pretty much.> Tyrogue said, answering the sunkern's question.
Miro couldn't help but feel a happy sunshine aura around this girl. "Um, hi. I'm Miro." Miro introduced, feeling Sandshrew hide behind his leg. "It looks like these pokemon aren't afraid of you like they would be with other trainers. What exactly were you doing just singing here?" Miro asked.

The girl unwrapepd herself from the Sandshrew, and instantly dropped the hand pinching Tyrogue's face. The lightly tanned skin on her own face as red as a tomato she stared abashedly at the two pokemon. Biting the inside of her lip, she hastily apologized for her fangirlish actions: "Sorry sweeties--I should have asked--But you were just so cute!" She murmured, the SUnkern hovering about her head occasionally screamed out: <CUTE!> As Willow apologized, and blushed. Then Son proceeded to dance about her head, screaming out: <She's sorry! Sorry! So-sa-sa-ri!> Then he lowered himself to the Sandshrew's level, and listened to him.
Smiling encouragingly he asked: <You were what? What were you doing?> The singsong tone of his voice was still there. But before the Sandshrew had a chance to answer, Tyrogue helped him back to his feet, and did the honors. <A trainer and his party--ah! I see! Me and Willow plan on doing contests one day--when they let us leave home anyway.> The Sunkernn babbled, going over the pairs namesi n his head. <So Ty and Sandy--how long have you been a trainer?> He asked the pair, butchering their names whoever he wisjed.
The girl smiled: "Very nice to meet you Miro! I am Willow! That is Son--my best friend." Bowing from the waist, she offerened up a larger smile, along with a handshake. At the next statement Willow dropped her hnad, and pointed enthusiastically toward the clearing: "Those Pokemon will never fear me! They knwo I won't catch them--or attack them. I just like their company--quite a few say that when I leave on my journey they'll come." Well the pokemon hadnt exactly said this--but they had made gestures, that she added to mean that. "If you promise to be good Miro--I'll introduce you." Leaning forward, she tapped the Tryogue and Sandslash on the top of their heads. "And you as well." Without waiting for a answer, she jogged off toward the clearing, the Sunkern bobbing around her head. A loud jaunty tune was heard coming from her mouth, followed by whistles.
(Sorry it sucks--I typed this already and had no muse for it the second time through.)

Tyrogue was taken aback by the nickname Son had given him so suddenly. <My name is Tyrogue, not Ty.> Tyrogue pointed out obviously. <And we've been with Miro ever since February.> Tyrogue said, answering Son's question. Sandshrew sneezed and wiped his nose, scratching his head afterwards. <And his name is Sandshrew--not Sandy.>
<I don't mind as much as you do, Tyrogue. As long as he doesn't come too close to me then it's fine if he calls me Sandy or Sandshrew.> Sandshrew spoke up. It was something he didn't usually do, but he thought better than to be rude to another pokemon. <But remember not to get too close, kay?>
Miro bowed his head a little when Willow bowed to him. He shoke her hand and smiled slightly. "Um, nice to meet you, Willow." Miro said. As she explained about the pokemon, he wondered what it'd be like if he was surrounded by wild pokemon, too. When Willow had mentioned about possibly introducing them to him, Tyrogue, and Sandshrew, he instantly paid attention. He followed Willow and her sunkern over to the clearing with his own pokemon behind him.
<We don't have to follow them if you don't want, Miro. You know that, right?> Tyrogue told his trainer. "I still don't understand pokemon language, so you'll have to be a bit more precise on your gestures and charade moves. Otherwise I only hear your name repeated over and over like any other pokemon." Miro said back to Tyrogue. Tyrogue slumped his head over his shoulders and ignored his trainer's comment. Of course, he could perfectly understand him. So why was it so hard for humans to understand what pokemon were saying?
((eh, mine is worser. I'm actually in a hurry.))

<But those are so boring--every Sandshrew and Tyrogue have those names. Where's the fun or creativity in that?> Shaking his head the Sunkern turned away from "Tyrogue" and "Sandshrew'. It was a pity when someone didn't udnerstand your sheer genius. The almost permanent smile was soon overshadowing any depression on his face, and he turned back toward the pair. <February--well I have been with Willow for well over five years--found me as an egg--the Arcanine next door had scared my mother away...> A slight frown popped across hs face, but was soon pushed away with a trill of glee--why was he gleeful?--Because he was a "Son" of course.
Then the Sandshrew spoke up, and the Sunkern chuckled. <Alright Sandy--though why I can't get near you--ah well. But sure--much better then saying Sandshrew.> Then both of his eyes turned toward the trainer's conversations, following it with his body as well as his eyes.
"Thanks Miro!" Willow yelled, and instead of hugging him , settled for pumping his hand a few times. Glancing once back over her shoulder, sh made sure she wasn't talking to herself: "What are your favorite Pokemon types Miro?> She questioned, the tone of her voice amiable, and sheerly curious. Then she began to whistle again, waiting for a reply from the other trainer. After all what could a reply to that question hurt?
The Sunkern spoke up: <Well he wanted to come--and you get used to them not being able to understand you eventaully--though since you have human like hands, you could try writing...> He had seen a few humanoid pokemon write before, and if he had hands, well the Sunkern would too.
Then they stepped into the clearing. Instantly the pokemon became nervous, a few glarimg daggers at the human girl who had condemned them to hell. "Guys it's alright, Miro said he'll leave you be." Instantly the bird pokmemon's wings came back to their sides, and looked up at the Dia atop of a nearby Pine. The big black bird nodded, and the flying types calmed down. A few Tapiirs hid in the berry bushes nearby, Senrets, meowths, and Aipoms curled up around them.
Walking to the center of the clearing, she turned the stereo on, keeping it at a low volume. "Go introduce yourself--watch for the thorny plants." Willow encouraged Miro.

"Favorite pokemon type?" Miro said, repeating the question. He thought about it for awhile and then answered, "Um, I guess it would be fighting, ground, and fire. Especially fighting. But I usually go for other types sometimes, too." He already had Tyrogue and Sandshrew, Tyrogue a fighting-type and Sandshrew a ground-type. He was only missing a fire type to complete the collection. Then he could always go for other types of pokemon. Besides, what's the fun of catching pokemon if you only get a certain type? It never did really make sense to Miro.
<Hmm...> Tyrogue thought. <Writing, huh? That just might actually work!> Tyrogue began to image himself writing on a piece of paper in mid-air with an imaginary pencil. Maybe Son was right! If he could learn to write human words, then he and Miro's conversation would be way more understandable for each other. Plus Tyrogue could translate to Miro what other pokemon are saying including Sandshrew. But first off, where was he going to get paper and a pencil? Miro didn't have any. In fact, all Miro had brought with him on his journey is the pokeballs and a few essential items like potions and antidotes.
So, Willow. Since you asked me that question, I'll ask you the same. What's your favorite pokemon types?" Miro asked, standing in the clearing with Willow. He examined all the wild pokemon that were listening to Willow sing. Many of them were rare and uncommon pokemon that trainers didn't usually see all the time. He couldn't believe that Willow was so lucky to even get to sing to them. They must trust her a lot Miro thought, a bit jealous. When he heard the music pop back on, he turned his attention back to Willow.
Once he had heard her tell him to introduce himself to the pokemon, he backed off a little. "I'm not sure if that'd be a good idea. I mean, I'm a stranger to them all and a trainer. They could just think instantly that I'll be no good and try to hurt or catch them. Then they would run away and it'd be my fault that your pokemon friends left. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want that happening." Miro said in one breathe. Still, he did want to go up to at least one of the many wild pokemon and say a normal 'hi'. It wouldn't hurt just to say hi, right?

"Fighting, ground, and fire? All very masculine--and strength focused if you ask me. But you can make some beautiful things with fire, and some fighting pokemon are very graceful..." Pausing she tried to think of something good to say about the ground types, she came up blank, but after a moment managed to dig up: "Well ground types are good for search and rescue--and osme can be soo cute!" Well msot trainers would have called them dependable, and sturdy, but to her that didn't really matter. It wasn't that she was shallow and would never like a ground pokemon--it was just that she preferred the prettier, faster types.
Miro spoke up again. Then the question was volleyed back to her. Pursing her lips for a few moments, she answered with: "Well Plants are by far my favorites, followed by water and flying in a close second. They are all so beautiful, and usually graceful." Psychic pokemon, and ghost types weren't too bad, but they creeped her out with their mind reading and in the case of ghosts--the fact that they were dead.
"Nonsense. Geist doesn't mind--and he'd knpw if you were going to hurt them. But if you're afraid of rejection.." A teasing little smiel crawled across Willow's face, and she stepped across the clearing. Reaching forward, she whistled and two birds landed on her arm. One was a Spearow, the other a Pidgey. Above the Dia scrutinized the events with one narrowed orange eye. Walking back to miro she held out her arm. "If you have a pokedex..I suggest you put it to good use--If not then just say hello." The two birds peered at Miro with raising curiousity. They bobbed their heads in time with the music, but kept both eyes on Miro. That was one hurdle jumped.
-----THE POKE"MON---
<I've heard it has worked before--I would try but..> Using his eyes he gestured to the left and right of his own bean shaped body. <I don't have hands.> This was said with a smile, and without ah int of jealousy. Sure he didn't have hands but he could hover, and float around like a bird. Which was nmuch nicer then having hands to pick things up--at least in Son's opinion. Now that he had reached the clearing, the Sunkern shwoed his true talent--social networking.
Like a bee from flower to flower, he zoomed around, obtaining the day's gossip, and chatting it up about how other's were doing. It seemed he had completely forgotten Tyrogue and Sandshrew.

Miro took in what Willow had said about the pokemon types. He never really thought about what was so good about the three types. To be truthful, he wouldn't even care if they were bad or not, because he had always loved the three types his whole life. He know that fighting type pokemon did mainly focus on strength and muscle, but it didn't occur to him that that would be the same for fire and ground types. But all pokemon are different, so that didn't mean they all only focused on strength and attacks.
"So you like grass, water, and flying-type pokemon? I guess that makes sense. After all, you look like that kinda person." Miro said. Son was a grass-type pokemon, and her appearance gave him a clue of to what type of trainer she was. Very happy and bright-like. He could already tell that cuteness was one of the traits she liked in a pokemon. After all, she seemed more into contests than battle, and that meant cuteness would be needed for contests.
"I've never been a big fan about what a pokemon's appearance is, but I usually like the cool looking ones." Thinking up another question, Miro asked Willow, "So, when will you be leaving home? You know, for your pokemon journey with Son. And are you leaving as a trainer, or co-ordinator? Or maybe something else like a breeder or researcher? " Miro couldn't really see Willow as a trainer or pokemon researcher, but it could work out with her attitude towards pokemon. But she did look much more fit for a co-ordinator or pokemon breeder.
<I completely understand what you mean.> Tyrogue said to Son. <Before I was captured by Miro, I knew a pokemon that didn't have any hands. She kept complaining about how she wished she could somehow communicate with humans. She wanted to try writing in the human language, but she had no hands. And then she was captured by a trainer, so I never had to hear her complain ever again.> Tyrogue said, finishing off.

"A what kind of person? Of course all types are nice--they each have their good points--" Willow first questioned teasingly, and then added that assurance, after all she didn't want her new buddy tinking she disliked his pokemon. Raising a tin hand to her face, she smiled, the sun glinting off the different colored nail polish, adding to the effect. "and you like battes--I take it you're that kind of person." Of course sje could have wagered thatb efore ever hearing him talk--after all neaither of his pokemon seemed to be built for contests.
"But what everyone thinks is cool differs--some might find your favorite pokemon ugly--or pretty--or common--." Everything in life depended on the person it applied to. At the question she shrugged. "I've been ready for years now--but my dear ol' mum doesn't quite think I am ready. I really think she just wants to keep her baby home with her--" Even though the words should have been painful, there was not a hint of bitterness in Willow's words. "But a Coordinator is the route for me--though I might become a breeder if that ever gets boring..." She wanted to help all the endangered Pokemon, that poachers killed. Such as how they kiled the Cubone's for their skulls.
The two birds peered at Miro--had they been forgottwen so quickly? Flapping teir wings they indicated that they wanted to be noticed. "There gettign restless--at least say hello." Willow whispered to her fellow trainer. It kind of hurt having their claws digging into her fleshy arms.
The Sunkern was already off being a social butterfly when the Tyrogue made his apocalyptic comment about complaining. There was a moral to that--the Usnkern heard the comment, and directed his reply at a group of Sntret's nearby. <Complaining makes karma send down a bolt of smite, makign sure you really have complianing about. Tis not a godo idea to complain.> This was all said with a sunny smile. But the words themselves chilled the normal types to the bone, and they hopepd away into the "plains". ---- (Sorry this sucks. I have a friend over--XD)

Miro listened to what Willow had to say about the questions he had just asked her. He could fully understand her when she said her mother wouldn't let her go off already. It was the same thing with Miro.
His parents wouldn't let him leave until they had one of the other two children back home from their long pokemon journey. Miro had to wait five years until he himself could leave home. And now he was here, with his own pokemon on an exciting route to a beginning. He could tell Willow wasn't exactly happy about staying home all the time.
"Just how old are you anyway? I mean, maybe your mom doesn't want you leaving because she thinks you're too young, or something related to your age. Or it could be just what you said-- that was the same with my parents. Wouldn't let me go until one of their other babies came home. That way they wouldn't be left alone by themselves. But I guess that's just how parents are." Miro said. Miro looked at the two bird pokemon on Willow's arm. Then he heard her comment about them to him.
"Say hi? Seriously?" Miro said, looking at the pair. "I'm not so sure about this, but... ok," he said, coming closer to the bird pokemon. "Um, hi there. I'm Miro, nice to meet you." he said, still unsure about it himself.
Meanwhile with the pokemon, Tyrogue and Sandshrew began to mingle with the wild pokemon, too. Well, Tyrogue was. Sandshrew was just following him so he wasn't left alone. But they didn't talk and chatter as fast as Son did.
Tyrogue picked up a few things about battling from some of the pokemon that have seen trainers battle with another and he had also heard some gossip on a loose aipom that had been brewing up trouble on the route. Tyrogue compared the life of a wild pokemon and a trainer's pokemon.
The two lives were so different, and yet they still had some similarities to each other, but not many.
<Stop holding on to me,> Tyrogue told Sandshrew. <Sorry.> he said, backing off a little from Tyrogue's back.

Willow paused: "Almost 16--My brothers all left when they were 14. I Think she doesn't want me to believe, because she thinks my brothers have forgotten about her.." Which wasn't true. Everythime they called her mother was out shopping, or at work. It wasn't their fault that their mother chose to go out right before either of them called. The girl sighed: "I know she lvoes me--but by the time I get to go--I'll have arthritis and grey hair!" The gentle laughter afterwards showed that she was only kidding. Even though her mother smothered her, they couldn't have gotten along any better.
"Yah. These two won't bite." Willow encouraged, reaching up, and petting them with her free hand. Then the boy spoke hesitantly. The Spearow spoke up: <Hello there--I Won't eat you !> The Pidgey churred, his form of a laugh and said in his language: <But I might!> Knowing that the Pidgey was a joker, she gently thumped him on the beak. "Now be nice. Don't tease him!" Turning back to Miro she grinned. "Ignore him." She cautioned.
Up in the air the Dia stirred in the tree branches, and watched with narrowed eyes as the two Pokemon coversed with others. Shaking his head he dove from the branch, becoming a black blur, spiraling downward he landed inches from Sandshrew. <Be calm--please--and stop grabbing onto your guardians back--if you throw it out he won't be able to protect you from a Baby Weedle.> Spreading his wings he quietly murmured: <BOO!> Then he chuckled quietly.
The Sunkern snuck up behind him, and gently swatted him on the head with a bullet seed. <Be nice!> He jokingly scorned, causig the geist of death bird to chuckle heartily. A group of Tapiir called him back overr, and he drifted off again. It seemed he only cared to help his "friends" when they were alone, or damage control was sorely needed.

Miro laughed along with Willow. It was probably the first laugh he had all day since he arrived at route one. With a finger, he petted the spearow's head lightly and tapped the pidgey with his other free finger on the beak.
"No worries. If he did at all bite me, I'd bite back." Miro teased along. This was his first contact with wild pokemon and it felt real nice to him. "I just turned 15 a few days ago. But I would've left sooner if my own brother came home earlier. When do you think your brothers will come home? Maybe then your mom will let you go." Miro said.
Miro's finger grazed the spearow's head for awhile. He smiled and then switched from the spearow to the pidgey. "The two of your are somewhat cute, I guess." Miro said.
"You must get along real good with the pokemon here. Do you usually do this?" Miro asked. He then stopped petting the pidgey and setting his hands back to his side. He leaned on one foot to gain support on his body. He had been standing for some time now and felt a little tired from it all.
<Um....> Sandshrew said, seeing the Dia pop out from the sky. When Sandshrew heard him shout, 'boo', he ducked behind Tyrogue and covered his eyes. Shyly, he lifted his head back up after hearing Son speak up and realized that the Dia had only been teasing him.
<Don't be scared, Sandshrew.> Tyrogue said. <It was only a pokemon. Nothing to it.> <Yeah, I know that.> Sandshrew said back, picking himself back up and staring over at the bird pokemon.

The Spearow shivered as the boy's hand landed on his feathery head. <Ah--that felt funny...since you pushed the feathers backward...> He murmured, the slight smile on his face vanishing as the boy moved on to the Pidgey. It was obvious he was jealous. Turning bck to Willow he nuzzled into her shoulder hoping for attention. But it seemed she had been sucked into an eternal spiral of giggling, reaching up with one hand she went to pet the attention craving Spearow, but her hand droped down to her side, as her body was shook by a new wave of quiet giggles. "I can't sto--HEHEHEHE--help me Miro!" Then the boy tapepd the Pidgey on the beak, and she laughed louder.
The Pidgey gentle grabbed the boy's finger with his beak. <Really?> Both of his mischievous bark colored eyes peered into Miro's. Daring him to bite him, what did human teeth feel like he wondered to himself. After all he had bit him--the boy better keep his promise.
The Spearow smacked Willow across the face with a red tinted wing. <Get ahold of yourself Will! Don't let the laughter be your tyrant!> The girl blinked, and stared around. Both of her eyes were the sie of golf balls, and a blush was rapidly spreading across her cheeks. "I AM SO SORRY MIRO!" The girm mumbled, and then replied to what btis she had managed to hear him say over her own deranged laughter. "They ...15 is that all?" She gasped, her lungs still recovering from the wild laughter. "Whenever they want...maybe..but by then I'll be older..." It might not hold an appeal to her when she got past a certain age--pokemon breeding might just be some childish fantasy of days past.
Once again the Spearow began to pout as the boy removed his hand. Then he was complimented--well kind of. <CUTE!? I am handsome--!> The Spearow shrieked, waving his wings up and down.
Willow sat down on the ground, somehow managing to keep the two birds on her arms. "Yes--I am rather popular with these guys. SHow them off--no. Sit here--everyday." Then a smile curled her lips upward. "You want a battle huh? That's what all trainers want." Willow questioned, with the tone of someone who knew exactly what she was talking about.
<Sorry kid--I am Ghou--didn't mean to scare you.> The Dia replied, the tone he apologized with, nothing like an apology. Lifting a wing he gently clapepd it on the Tyrogue's shoulder. <Most pokemon are nothing to worry about--but not all will be courteuos enough not to stuff the two of you in their mouth.> Nodding the Bad-Omen bird warned. Of course he had no idea that what he had said might scare the Sandshrew.

Miro felt the pidgey's small tongue on the tip of his finger. Seeing that the pidgey was testing him, Miro took the small bird's challange. He slipped his finger out from the pidgey's mouth and wiped it on his shirt. He smiled and put his face level with the pidgey's. Licking his lips, Miro opened his mouth wide. His white teeth showed along with his pink tongue. If you looked more down into it, you could see his throat. Of course, that wasn't something many people liked to look at.
"Ok, let's see how you like it." Miro said, biting softly onto the pidgey's wing. To make sure that he wasn't hurting it, he loosened the grip on it's wing and had his teeth barley on the feathers. It wasn't the best tasting thing on the planet, and Miro didn't want to eat it. But since the pidgey had biten him, he was just returning the bite. Miro looked straight into the pidgey's eyes with his coal black pupils. After awhile of silence and staring, he withdrawed his mouth and stood back into a standing position.
"I told you I'd bite back. If you try to do anything else, I'll do it right back, you hear?" Miro said, warning the pidgey. He was plainly teasing along, but meant everything he said. Seeing the spearow commenting on his compliment, Miro laughed. He wasn't sure if the spearow was taking his compliment as a bad thing, or just pointing out the difference between cute and handsome. "Well, either one, you're something." he said, regaining control of his laughing. "So, calm down, okay?"
As Willow sat down on the ground, Miro joined her, sitting himself across fom her. Hearing her say the word "battle" caught his attention. He let a smile spread across his face, looking at Willow. "A battle? Are you sure about that? But of course, if you insist..." Miro said, dragging his sentence. If this girl really wanted to battle, then Miro couldn't just be rude and refuse the battle. Especially after the two got to know each other a little.
Sandshrew, meanwhile, was dealing with his own problems. <Like anyother ol' fashioned Sandshrew, I'm Sandshrew...er, yeah. And you did not scare me--I was just shocked by your sudden appearance.> Sandshrew said. Tyrogue listend to Ghou's advice, thinking that he was probably a wise pokemon around the route. And then the mention of the word "battle" was heard from the humans' conversation. Tyrogue turned his head and looked at his trainer. <Did someone say... battle?>
