Well the pokemon center had been one useless fiasco. Achilles was now snoozing in his pokeball, his mouth recently washed clean of blood from when he had nibbled on poor nurse Diana's hands. His brusised chest was wrapped tightly with bandages, and he was not to exert activity for two or so days. Of course if a battle came up he didn't think his companions could handle he wouldn'tt care what anyone said, he would be tearing them up in seconds. Laan was shivering Aubre's arms, it was obvious the luke warm bath had scared him more then she had thought, and he no doubt wanted to eat her. Hopefully something would come along and distract him.
Aubre on the other hand had both of her gorest green eyes on the ground, her black hoody had been switched for a red one, due to her not having time to dry her black one before the nurse ordered her out of the laundry room. So it was sitting there at the bottom of the bag. Occasionally the crack of a branch, or the call of a pokemon bought her head up and her eyes dancing around the trees, but as was to expected there was never anything there. Then as unavoidable as the sun came up, she hunched her shoulders forward and returned to looking at the ground.
Of course she wasn't alone. Arbori trudged beside her, the large eyes of the Meowth seemed more scared then the girls own. He was practically attactched to her hip, and everytime they neared a tree he let out a little mew of fright. Aubre was in no mood to comfort him right now , but she did try: "It's al--right Ar--bori. The--y cann--ot get you thi--s far in--ward on th-e pa--th." The Meowth looked up with doubt: <The path will go away, and look it the branches are trying to grab me!> Of course his trainer didn't reply, and te shower she had taken in Vhenkil had lost any usefullness, seeing as she had trudged out into the mud again. Not to mention she still had slight cold, nd the quiet walk through the loud forest was punctuated by the odd sneeze, whose echo sounded liek the bark of a Houndoom to Aubre, and to Aubre it sounded like the trees were calling him, to make him come loser; then they would eat him.
Aubre was just glad to be getting closer to hom, then she could end tis ridicoulous charade, and curl up in her room, and never come out. No need to worry about dogs, or vicious trees, or grumpy fish anymore, it would just be her, her hooyd, her TV and her books. All of which seemed to have happier endings then her life. Sure the characters were beaten sometimes, but they got back up , relatively unscathed and continued to fight evil. Aubre didn't want to fight evil, she just didn't want to be eaten, or killed, was that to much to ask?
As if coming out of a daze Laan shook his head the last shreds of: <Water..cold..chilly..moving earth...water...water...> Fading into nothingness. Then he found his bright green eyes looking into those of his trainer. But no smile came to his face, instead he let out a loud snarl like noise and began cursing her rough all seven ringso f hell, ignoring the tears nwo dotting her eyes. <You fooking little bitch--I help you and you let that water loving psycho try and fucking drown me in that damn bathtub. What the hell is wrong with you!? Can't even s--t-t-utter out a full sentence! > If he could reach her face he would have slapped her.
Aubre took what she knew was not a string of friendly words in stride. She ignored them, and only allowed a silent tear to roll down her fac.e She had been worried about Achilles and Laan, and the nurse had to rinse them to see what had happened!
The fish glanced over her shoulder, and caught his eye on a golden egg resting in her backpack, and raised a eyebrow. Aubre must have found it, when he had been disimposed. She hadn't stolen it, no doubt it's parents had been scared off by humans and abandoned it.

Randy hadn't gone more than a mile or so from Vhenkil Town, when Sandy noticed a dark figure in the distance and alerted Randy to the fact that someone (or something!) was coming their way along the path through the woods which made up Isabella Plains. Upon closer inspection Randy realized that, as the speck drew closer, it was actually another trainer wearing a red hoodie and carrying a Kreem in her arms, followed closely by a wide-eyed Meowth.
When they drew abreast of the other trainer Randy stopped and said, "Hello there, my name is Randy! What's yours?" in a friendly, welcoming tone. She felt very hospitiable this morning. Sandy shared her sentiment and said, "Coo!" to the Meowth and Kreem, which meant something like, <Hi, how are you on this fine blustery morning!>

OOC;; me too xD "Finally, I've caught up with you!"
Frai stumbled along the pathway, carrying a few Pokeballs holding his fully healed Pokemon, and Revelation hovered close behind. He threw the balls in the air, and soon his Wailmer, Phanpy, and appeared on the floor. Fandon looked up happily and trumpeted, feeling completely re-energized. Wello, however, merely yawned and rolled into the small river that ran along the side for water pokemon to travel in. His beady eyes glanced up lazily at his new trainer before he floated ahead of the trio a bit.
Fandon looked back at Revelation and tilted his powderblue head. <Hey, you feelin' any better?> he asked innocently. Frai had rushed to the Center awfully fast...but that was probably understandable because of his connection with Revelation. Since Rev had a paralyzed arm, so did Frai, and he probably wanted that to get taken care of right away...
Rev grinned in response. <Sure I am! I'm pleanty tough.> Fandon laughed and turned back to his trainer, trumpeting again happily at his side. Frai looked down briefly before grinning. He adjusted his glasses and turned back to Aubre.
"I've been trying to catch up with you," he mentioned, and then turned to see a new trainer next to her. He grinned broadly and tilted his head to the side. "Hi there, I'm Frai," he said cheerfully. It was always pleasant to see a new face.
Wello yawned idly and soon dozed off in the river where he floated, and Revelation had to buzz to the large ball of a Pokemon to wake him up. <Pssst, no sleepin' on the job!> Fandon hissed from Frai's side before giving him a grin, trying to show that he was kidding around. Wello seemed to not have heard him however, and only yawned again before diving under water to rest for a bit.
Fandon turned to Sandy and raised his nose in salutations. <Hiya!>

Aubre narrowed her eyes to better see the figure approaching, it was a human. It wasn't ging to eat her--cannabilism was looked down upon in human society. Of course that didn't mean she was any less cautious, hopefully the trainer would ignore her. As the head of bobbing dark hair approached she realized it was a female trainer, and most others of her gender liked to talk. As was proven when she stopped beside her, and chirped out the previous question. The tear from earlier had left a wet track on Aubre's face, hopefully the girl wouldn't notice. Of course the tone of sadness was still audible in her vocie as she spoke, of course her voice was whisper quiet so it was hard to notice: "A-ubre. Hell-o Mis--s Ra-ndy." Both eyes were diverted downward, and the shadows of her hoody turned her face into one pool of invisible shadows.
Arbori looked at the Pidgey. <Alright--trees have been very quiet today.> The Meowth said with a tentative smile, surprisingly enough spending time with Abreh ad made him a little bit bolder, and compared to Achilles and Laan, who had threatened to eat him this little Pidgey couldn't be that bad. Of course Laan's answer was nothing like te little Meowth's, and rude on mroe then one level, one of those being language: <Well bub,I just got almost fuckin' drowned by some psycho pink blob, and her diotic trainer, although compared to you featherhead she was rathr intelligent.> Arbori said nothing, but shifted his feet awkwardly.
Aubre whirled about when a male voice echoed through the area. FRAI!? At first she had thought they had wanted to stalk her, or do something unspeakable to her. But no it was just Frai. She hadn't seen him since the group had split up, and she was happy to see him again, he had listened to her speak, and such. Placing a tentative smile on her face she returneed to looking at the ground. She didn't like new faces, but Randy had seemed friendly enough, then again Leo had been rude but he hadn't seemed like the type to commit murder. So she could have been wrong.
"O-h." So she hadn't stolen anything? He had chosen to follow her. Then she realized that her two newest poekmon were new to Frai, and Randy. They needed introductions, pointing to each in turn she said: "THis is La--an a-nd this is A-rb--ori." The Kreem glared at the other trainers, then growled at his own , while the Meowth bounded forward, and sniffed at the powderblue elephant. Deciding it wasn't a tree he did the same thing with Frai, very faintly he smelt like aubre, and from the way he had spoke he knew her. Deciding he was alright he ran quickly across to Randy, glaring at the branches as he did so. <Okay you can talk to Aubre--you won't eat her!>
Aubre peered at the Wailmer, who was rolling about in the water, and snoring. Laan would be no help when they reached the water routes. Wait when!? She wasn't going that damned far. She was going home, she didn't want to be faced with danger anymore! AUbre's eyes then flickered to the Pidgey, and she slowly held out a extended arm. "Wh--at's hi--s na--me?" They had been taught how to handle brd pokemon in school, and Aubre was scared to death, but Pidgey's were so cute, and she wanted to feel his feathers!

"Nice to meet the two of you here!" Said Randy with a friendly smile. "I'm on a Pokemon journey myself, how about you guys?"
Sandy looked down at the Meowth, very confused by the feline's statement, <Eat, her? What do you mean? Why would we do that?> He wasn't sure about going down to meet the little powder blue elephant what with that Meowth down there, so to him he called a nice greeting of <Hello down there!> from the safety of Randy's shoulder.
Upon being asked what her Pidgey was called, she gasped and clasped her face saying, "Oh, I'm sorry I forgot to introduce you! This is Sandy." Then she took out Blaze's ball and hit the button adding, "Come on out Blaze!" Then she pointed to her other full ball on her waist saying, "And, in this ball is my Meditite, Medi. You'll pardon me if I don't let him out. He has trouble dealing with others right now." Blaze materialized next to Randy and said "Tor!" in a general greeting to everybody.

Fandon's trunk lifted again in another hello to Aubre's new Pokemon, a Kreem and a Meowth. The Kreem seemed to not like people too much, and based on that mouth, he was just like Achilles...His beady eyes narrowed a bit but widened when the Meowth sniffed him. He grinned at the catlike Pokemon and let his ears flap softly. <Hey there!> he said before the Pokemon decided to run to his trainer and sniff him as well.
Frai grinned at Aubre before blinking and looking downwards at the cat that was sniffing him idly. He soon skittered away before Frai could say anything, meowing out something. Revelation laughed and shook his head. His wings buzzed as he neared Frai, letting his scythes rest lazily on his shoulder. Frai didn't seem to notice and instead turned back to Aubre. He heard her say something, and it took a beat for him to figure out what it was, but he grinned in response when he did.
"That's Wello." He turned to look at the lazy ball. "So full of energy, yanno?" he said, grinning at his stupid joke before turning back. A flapping was heard in the distance, but Frai seemed to ignore it.
Wello gave a big yawn and said the first thing he said all day. <What's with the hood over her head?> It was slurred, like he had just woken up. He didn't wait for an answer from Revelation, but instead fell right back asleep, floating casually amid the waves.
Fandon's eyes looked up to Sandy. <Hiya!> he said cheerfully. Revelation nodded to the Pidgey and grinned. <I'm Revelation, this is Fandon.> He blinked a bit and scratched his neck with his scythe.
A red aura surrounded a few new Pokemon that the team had yet to meet. Their eyes widened when they saw the newest friend come out.
Fandon blinked and got over it quickly, however. <Hi there! I'm Fandon!> he chirped to Blaze, the Torchic.
Frai blinked. "Oh, God, not another one..." he muttered. Just what he needed, another Torchic to burn off his leg and to scare the shit out of Aubre. He turned to look and see how she was doing, but Fandon trumpeted happily, making him turn back.
The flapping was incessantly louder now, and finally the Pidgey had caught up. <Sorry I was late. It's been a while, and it took some time for me to catch up to you,> he remarked before landing on a nearby tree, tilting his head dociley at everyone. <Hello there> he said to Sandy, his curiosity peaked.

Aubre opened her mouth to reply that she was the same. Then stopped. No she wasn't. She just wanted to go home, and curl up on her bed, but first she had to get through the forest route, and Vhenkil, and unless she wanted to look suspicious she would have to beat the gym leader. But she wasn't on a journey, she was just on a break from her mundane life in her bedroom. A break that she hadn't enjoyed very much, and the reappearence of Frai had reminded her of that fire blowing Torchic, Pyric, he was one of the reasons they had went off seperately for a while. Well Aubre had literally ran, he could blow fire, meaning he would drudge up horrid memories.
Laan merely glared at the little Phanpy, then turned around, and decided it was best to ignore him. That thing wasn't worth his time.
<Trees eat people, and pokemon eat other pokemon, and Aub. At least that's what she thinks.> The Meowth mewed quietly. Turning away from the Pidgey he slunk back to his trainer, before remembering the Wailmer, with a wiggling of his tail he jumped onto a rock in the river, next to where the Wailmer was waddling about. Breathing in deeply he sniffed at the thing. <You smell funny...> Then with a hiss he began batting at the willow branch that had fallen on his shoulder. <Get it away...!!> It would scratch up his pretty head piece, and Aubre would get rid of him! She had already cleaned it up once!
Aubre nodded, out of these two she was the only one without a flying type, she really needed tto get on--WHAT THE HELL!! She was going home she didn't need another pokemon raiding their fridge. "He-l-lo the--re San--dy." She said quietly. Then the pokeball burst open, and exposed the Torchic. Torchics were normally cute by female standards but Aubre began backing up, her teenishoes leaving furrows in the ground as she did so. Both of her green eyes were widened, and slightly fearful. This one could spit fire as well. Her arm had fallen back down to her side, and she had mumbled soemthing, which was not in anyway understandable.
Aubre decided that she was far enough away, and the yowls of her Meowth became audible, turning she went to go help him and stopped. Then she remembered she had a fi-- <Hell no Aub. That cat can drown, or be choke by the willow for all I care.> That was afraid of water. The distance between her and the Torchic allowed her to stop mumbling. He couldn't spit fire at her now. The Kreem in her arms now turned to the questioning Wailmer. <DOn't ask me, she won' take it off ya kno?> So he couldn't figure out why it was there. The Meowth had finally untangled himself from the branch, and he shook his fist at it in triumph, and took a step back, to find his paw on air. With a screech he tumbled into the water, which was only waist high on him.
At first Aubre was alarmed, but she couldn't do anything, and remained frozen, then he stood up and shook free of the water. <Laan that hood is armor--protects her from the trees.> They didn't attack her that often. The Fish scoffed and was shifted as Aubre yelped. And standing behind her in a pool of red light was Achilles. <Heya Rev--and look another baby chicken with wings, oh three of them.> The first comment was referring to Blaze, the last two referred to the Pidgey who had jsut arrived and Sandy, who was on Randy's shoulder. The way he was standing disguised the bandages on his chest from view, it didn't hurt that badly anymore. The nurse ha rubbed some smelly stuff on it and made ti feel all better.
Aubre looked down at the little yellow thing. When you put him in Laan togeter it wa like starting a fight straight away, but both of them could break out of their pokeballs. Arbori didn't want to be in one, speaking of Arbori-- <Hey anyone up fr battling the wet cat over there. I want to moveo n but we can until he's at least Level 7> Achilles inquired, glaring around te group as he did so. In other words until he was a match for the lowest level Pokmeon on the next route.

"Wow, a statilee! How cute." Said Randy, "I haven't seen one bef..." Here she was interupted by the sounds of a splash and an angry cat. Seeing the Pokemon in distress and knowing that Aubre had expressed an interest in her Pidgey she turned to the girl, who had taken a few steps backward upon seeing Blaze (that was puzzling, usually people aren't afraid of him, she thought to herself), and said (because Aubre was closer to Randy than Frai), "Here could he sit on your shoulder for a minute, thanks." While she put Sandy on her hand and threw him into the air so that he could alight on Aubre's shoulder. Then she walked over to the waterlogged Meowth and picked him up out of the water, without looking back to see Sandy land on Aubre.
Upon straightening back up, Randy turned to the others and said, "Are you afraid of Blaze, perchance?" Frai had seemed alarmed by the appearance of her Torchic too, she thought. Then she put the Meowth down and started digging around in her pack for a towel. "I didn't know, I'll put him back in his ball if you'd prefer?" She asked gently.
Blaze said, <I'm always up for the challenge, but it's up to the trainers if there's to be a battle. I think we should wait until they decide what to do. But I think that Sandy needs to level up more than me right now. I just learned ember, by the way.> He said this last part with a smug look on his face and puffed up his feathers a little.
<Hello to you too!> Said Sandy, curiously, to the other pidgey. It had been awhile since he'd seen a bird like himself. <I'm Sandy.> He added. Then he found his trainer giving him cues that he was to fly over to Aubre's shoulder, so he complied. He wasn't feeling bored yet, so he was doing good so far today. He felt quite cheerful.

[Yay, Linzee has arrived!] Linzee walked down Route One for the third time, her eyes searching the area for her old travel buddies. In particular, she was looking for Frai, but she wouldn't mind meeting up with Aubre either. They hadn't been very friendly before, but she felt bad about that. She wanted to try having a friendship with the shy girl. Pyric, normally out of the pokeball and at her side, was still riding in the red-and-white orb.
Hmm... She thought, glancing about for the millionth time. This time though, she heard some cooes that sounded distinctly Pidgey-like. Remembering Frai had a Pidgey that followed him around, she glanced toward the sound. Within a few more steps, she saw a group of three. Aubre, someone she didn't know, and...
"FRAI!" She shouted, rushing forward. If it had been anyone else, she would've probably hugged them. But this was Frai, and she wasn't sure if a hug would be welcomed...It probably wouldn't be. And she didn't want to come across as some weird obsessed stalker.
"And Aubre!" She added, forcing her gaze away from Frai and feeling her cheeks heat up.
Geesh, ten seconds with them and I'm already bright red! Again! [/size]

OOC;; Replysauce. Dx Sorry for the delay. Frai blinked and continued to stare in mild concern at Aubre's reaction, but she seemed to be a little more calm. Backing away wasn't as bad as running around screaming, but Aubre wasn't really that type. He smirked at the thought of the poor girl running in circles with a high pitched shriek emitting from her lips. It was amusing, to say the least.
He turned his head to a sudden splashing sound that tore him away from his reverie. A soaked cat was shaking off the water, and Frai couldn't help but start to laugh a bit. Poor thing...and cats normally hate water, but the Meowth seemed to be taking it quite well. He grinned and shook his head, his arm traveling to scratch at his neck as he watched the sight unfold.
Revelation smirked at the sight as well, and he nodded his head to Geo as a greeting. <Welcome back> he stated, his head tilted to the side. He then turned to Blaze, a worried glimmer in his eye. <Uh, try not to use that attack around the hooded human, okay? She's afraid of fire,> he explained, remembering the last fiasco with the other Torchic, wincing slightly at the memory. That burn really HURT.
He then gave a nod to Achilles, smirking at the powerful Statilee. They seemed to have some mutual respect going...
Wello yawned idly, his beady eyes suddenly trained on a figure approaching. He said nothing, however, because it didn't really concern him. He turned, instead, to the conversation between the two Pidgey.
<It's nice to meet you, Sandy> Geo stated eloquently, and found the urge to follow the bird as he went back to Randy. His head turned back to the others, and squawked happily when he saw Linzee.
<Linzee!> Fandon trumpeted happily. Frai blinked, startled by the sudden happy trumpeting of the small pachyderm. He turned in the direction that he was blowing, and the sight surprised him.
"Linzee! Good to see you!" he exclaimed happily, giving her a huge grin. "Well, it seems we're all back again," he chirped, tilting his head to the side.
Revelation turned to Achilles and blinked quietly. <How has your training been going?> he asked idly.

Turning her pale face towards Randy; Aubre blinked. Well she had found Statilees cute, Achilles was adorable on the outside; and had a mask of innocence that drew you in. Of course once you got to know him; the dragon became less cute and more demonic. In a reply to Randy's statement of opinion Aubre whispered a non-commital answer. "I-f you sa-y s-o." It was a matter of opinion afer all; it wasn't up to her to dash any thoughts on Achilles adorability factor. Before she had a chance to answer she found the Pidgey perched on her shoulder, his claws digging into the thick fabric of her dry rotted black hoody. "Thank yo-u for help-ing Arbo-ri." Both of her eyes flickered downward and she shuffled her feet; obviously embarassed that she had not helped him herself.
The Meowth let out a mew as he was lifted out of the watr, and deposited back on the bank. Shaking himself free of water he looked at Randy; who was currently rifling through her backpack. <Whatcha looking for Randy?> Then a eddy of wind rattled the branches about him sending him scurrying back to the main group of trainers. THERE THEY WENT AGAIN! They had been close to scratching his precious head coin again; and were now hissing angrily because they had failed.
Upon being asked Aubre froze; much like a deer caught in the headlights. She didn't want to be rude and force the girl to put away her Torchic. "It--s ok-ay." In all reality her mind did nt agree with her treacourous mouth. In fact it was screaming 'NO! It will set you on fire, and watch you roll around in the floor; wondering how a human became so pretty so fast' She didn't want that at all; but she did not need anyone else to have a grudge against her.
Achilles rolled his eyes, and then stared at the bird with his orange eyes narrowed. <Listening to your trainer?--That shows how well you can think for yourself.> Of course one look at the Torchic made it obvious that he was less intelligent then himself. Leaning against a tree; he slowly lowered himself to a sitting position; upon reaching the bottom of the tree he leaned his head on one of his splayed hands, his claws resting on his scaly yellow skin;puckering it.
At the shout of Frai, Aubre twirled about, her green eyes landing on the approaching figure of Linzee. A sinking feeling then arrived in the pit of her stomach. Shit. Without a doubt the girl in front of her was still sour for the way Achilles had behaved; and her Torchic probably couln't wait to kill her in a blaze of flame filled glory. When she was finally noticed, she quietly offered up a greeting, one filled with reluctance; and just a bit of fright. "He-llo Agai-n Lin-zee" Of course she made no indication that she had noticed Pyric. It kept her eyes off the ground; and she was staring into the wilderness; glancing as far away as she could manage without being extremely rude.
Achilles growled at the Scyther; leaning back against the rough tree bark, he closed his crimson eyes. That was one subject he did not want to say that much on. <Non existent--> Technically getting his ass kicked did not count as training. It counted as getting his little yellow ass kicked.
Upon hearing Frai's joyous words about a happy Reunion Aubre tried to reflect the tone she heard in his voice. The happy go lucky one. A shaky smile spread across the bottom half of her chin, but the red splotches under her eyes from her earlier crying made it obvious that it was much less then heartfelt.

"Oh, you know each other already then?" Asked Randy, "Well, let me just introduce myself again, I'm Randy. It's nice to meet you Linzee." Here Randy gave a little wave, before grabbing the towel out of her backpack and heading over to the Meowth; swinging her pack back onto her shoulders as she went. She was still determined to give him a good rub down, so he would be less wet and uncomfortable.
In reply to Aubre's thanks Randy added, "You've got your hands full there, so I thought I'd lend one of mine." With a smile to the other trainer, as she headed over to Arbori.
<So how long have you been with your Trainer?> Asked Sandy, conversationally to Geo. <I've been with mine a few days now.>
<Oh, well, I wouldn't use Ember unless it was necessary or so ordered by Randy.> Said Blaze matter-of-factly, <After all, we don't want to cause a range fire or anything like that.>
Randy managed to get close enough to Arbori to finally use the towel on him, if he'd just hold still for it, "Anyway, which direction were you guys headed in? I just left Vhenkil myself. I need to train my Pidgey some more on Isabella Plains before I can make it past the forest of Route 2. Hey maybe I can battle your Meowth Aubre? They look to be about the same level, here let me use my Pokedex to make sure." Here Randy left off toweling Arbori and pulled her Pokedex out of a, handy, side pocket on her pack and pointed it at the Meowth.

Linzee smiled, her eyes sparkling with happiness. She hadn't enjoyed being by herself, and was really glad that she had found Frai and Aubre, and this new girl...Randy?
She decided to address Randy first, seeing as Aubre didn't seem to want to talk to her, and talking to Frai too much would look like she liked him. Which...She totally didn't. Right? Riiight.
"It's nice to meet you, too, Randy. I'm Linzee, obviously." She grinned, then picked three pokeballs off of her belt and enlarged them.
"And these are my Pokemon."
She let them out, first Pyric, who looked unsteady on his taloned feet, then Rayda, who instantly slithered onto Linzee's shoulder, and finally Crash, who tumbled over before standing up.
"The Torchic's Pyric, Frai and Aubre have already...uh, met him. Then, this Dratini's Rayda," Linzee turned her gaze onto the short snake-like dragon Pokemon, who churred happily, "I got an egg, and she hatched from that. And the Riolu..." Linzee turned to Crash, hoping he'd at least be polite to the others, "He's Crash. I got him at a Pokemon sale."
Crash crossed his arms, letting out a soft, "Lu." of greeting. Pyric jumped up and down, stumbling to the side a bit but flapping his wings excitedly. Rayda stayed on Linzee's shoulders, her body wrapped around the red-haired girl's neck.
"I'm pretty lucky to have all of them." She murmered softly, half to herself.
