“Oh, the weather is so delightful this morning.”
Elyisa hummed sweetly to herself, her lips the color of the flesh of a strawberry pressing themselves together in her contentment. Happiness. That was something that she hadn’t felt in well over a year, nor many other emotions until recently when Noah made her a proposal. That proposal to leave Sky Reach for awhile, to wander around, to gain experiences, to obtain a goal; and mostly above all else, keep her mind off of Eilam. But how could she forget her precious Kodona for even a moment? His lovely black hair, his enchanting green eyes, his aroma, his voice, his presence -- It was maddening to be apart from him for so long. But today, on this day, Elyisa didn’t feel like the a mere outer shell of her former self. She was alive again! Realizing for the first time that she could breath, and that the air that filled her lungs actually had a taste.
She had spent last night in a local motel, and was relieved when the breaking sun had kissed the horizon allowing light to fill the land. The poor girl hadn’t slept so well, finding it difficult to become accustomed to her surroundings nor did it seem that her mind wanted to shut itself off. She remembered that she originally wanted to go to bed at 10 P.M. on the dot, however crawling into the blanketed mattress and falling asleep were two completely different things. Elyisa has memories of tossing and turning, of constantly adjusting her lifeless pillow, while peeking at the clock laying upon the nightstand. At first it didn’t surprise her to see fifteen minutes creep by as she lay their, watching the digital numbers slowly increase. But after an hour her innocent stare became a spiteful glare, trying her hardest to will herself to fall into her dreamless slumber. Sadly the sandman did not daintily sprinkle his magical dust of recreation into her violet eyes well past midnight.
However despite such a late rest, those lovely orbs of hers peeled themselves open only four hours later. Allowing herself not to experience her latest blight, the pink hair lass hastily threw the covers off her petite frame and sprang from the bed. With a delicate huff the young adult stalked over to her luggage and began to prepare for the days’ events that had yet to be played. Of course Elyisa showered, but had to repress a gasp of horror as she noticed how tiny the bathtub was, and how weakly the water sprayed from the metallic mouth hanging above. But the brave soul managed to accomplish bathing herself well enough that redeemed that she was in fact clean after half an hour of standing underneath the pouring water. The temperature piping had even began to spew out freezing droplets by the time Elyisa had snapped the lever off. But honestly, she’d rather be nearly frozen to death than dirty -- She could deal with the mild case of the shivers.
But as another hour and a half past, Elyisa had finished prepping herself and was fully dressed in her chose Lolita for this season. Feeling much more comfortable in her lace, pastel blue floral-patterns, and solid white knee highs adoring a adorable blue ribbon on the edge. Her silky locks of Mary rose pink were the norm, cascading down her body as always -- However on this special day she decided to crown the top of her head with a wide-brimmed hat with a ribbon of white coiled tenderly around its rim. Nevertheless before she bolted from the motel room that she had purchased, she politely made her bed, trying to imitate the maids at her old manor. Honestly she never had to make a bed before, never had to fold a sheet, so this indeed this was quiet the adventure for her. She even for the first time in her life had eaten something out of a vending machine! Elyisa needed breakfast, and hadn’t a clue where she could obtain one other than the pick and select machine.
She had chosen something called a Honey Bun, and was shocked to know how pleasant it tasted, even if it left a sticky mess on her fingers. But in her mind it was worth it and she was so proud of herself. Learning how to survive like a normal person was just so challenging and thrilling at the same time. But after she had deposed of her thrash and cleaned her hands then Elyisa set off towards the lab that Noah had pointed out to her last evening before he left her side to return to his home many miles from where she lingered now. It depressed her really, knowing how lonely she was currently, but as he told her once she’d acquired one of those amusing creatures, she’d never feel solitude such as this ever again. Oh, she hoped so! This is what she needed to get her life back on track it seemed, even if she knew it would be tough and hard -- But she thought she had what it took to do this.
Besides the weather was on her side, so what more did she need?
The morning sun hung lively in the distance, spreading its warm rays downwards while its loving light swept away the darkness of night. No cloud lurked within the glorious sky either, daring not anger that blazing star as it claimed to be the victor of this day. In spite of the fact it was summer, there was a wonderful breeze fluttering about; it even began to comb its invisible fingers through the tree branches, rousing the brilliant leaves. And all of these factors made the lab seem much more quaint as Elyisa laid her curious eyes upon it, examining its shy beauty. The building was painted a charming white, giving an appearance of it being simple, being clean -- Which Elyisa was sure it was anyways. She took note of the two flower boxes by the doorway, as well as the steel outlining of the door itself along with the windows that were dressed in drapes of cream hue.
With a half-hearted smile lining her flawless face, Elyisa walked up to the door of stainless steel, hearing the heels of her shoes rap upon the gravel path below. There was a list of Starters to pick from, however the girl’s knowledge of any of them wasn’t as impressive as it should’ve been. Though she wasn’t afraid to admit that she was new to this world, a new soul to the life of a wandering Trainer whom is forced to drag their belongings behind them. But as a moment past Elyisa decided not to dwell on the sour notes of this life style. No, everything will be fine, and she’ll be fine -- And with hope even better than ever! So with a mild thought of hope for her future engraved in her mind, she lifted her hand to knock feebly upon the door. That tap she gave was laughably weak, but it could be heard unlike the chaotic butterflies that were beginning to waltz wildly within her tiny stomach. [/blockquote]

The day was beautiful indeed. Out in the backyard the various baby pokemon played. As the landscape for their treachorous adventures was a odd addition to their little world. It was large, and green, and had a miniature jungle upon it's back--and oddest of all the boulder like thing snored! Little z's flowed from the Venusaur's inflated nostrils. Anyone who had visited the lab more then once knew of Belair the extremely skinny, but rather immobile Venusaur. It was extremely odd for him to be laying outside in the sun light.
Of course he wasn't the only one outside on such a beautiful day. The Professor himself was taking advantage of the wonderful weather--to garden. Of course currently he was just carrying around a watering pail, and pausing to dribble bits of liquid life on the parched plants. Perched on his head was a ridicoulously larged sun hat, bits of the straw that mae it up, stuck out at jaunty angles. On his hands were gloves--but not his normal latex ones, these were the dark chocolate of those used to cultivate the Earth. Humming softly to himself the Professor rounded the corner to the front door, just as the door opened, and Bill's voice invited the pretty young lady inside.
Why wasn't the Alakazam ecstatic about the bright summer day? Why wasn't he frolicking around like the Professor?
Bill was a creature of darkness, simply put. No he wasn/t at all eveil, but sunlight bothered his eyes. The bright sun of a summer day gave him a headache, and all the laughter and childish behavior made him sick to his stomach. When the teenager knocked on the door, Bill turned away, and using a blast of psychic energy swung the door open. "Come in. Actually--go get the Professor--I can't deal with anymore giddiness, unless it comes from his foolish mouth." It was in no way friendly, but it wasn't as pointed asm ost of his greetings. The bright sunlight had robbed him of his edge and until the clouds rolled in, gone it would stay.
Then what little bit of piece he had found in the world was shattered when the Professor strolled into the room. "Welcome lass! I am Profssor Mahoghany--It is a beautiful day outside hmm?!" Even as he spoke he was removing his gloves, and his apron, laying them on his desk nearby. "Get the door will you Bill." The door swung closed with a "kitch" and the Professor went on about his business.
When the door was closed the room was plunged into momentary darkness. Then James pulledb ack the curtains, allowing light to flow in, and to sensitive ears Bill's hissing was obvious. "Come now Bill--we live in a wonderful cleam house--not a pitch black cave."
The Alakazam seemed to have pulled a magic trick. Seconds later there was the sound of a tapp running, and the rattle of a pill bottle. "If I didn't know how much of it was acting--I'd think my dear friend Bill was allergic to happiness." Then a blush colored his chheeks, as he turned back to Elysia. "Oh My. I am so sorry dear. Let me get you a chair." Without waiting for a response he ran off to the kitchen, his cane left forgotten by his desk. A minute or so later he came back, and sat the chair gently on the ground beside Elysia. "Sit Sit. So you came here for a new pokemon correct?" Except for that odd fellow last week that was all people ever came for. Of course this girl did seem a little high classed to wish to be a trainer--mayhaps a coordinator? (Excuse this XD)[/size]

Elyisa blinked curiously as she patiently lingered -- Taking note how odd it felt to actually wait more than a few brief passing moments for a door to be opened for her. Usually servants would automatically drop what they were doing (well if it wasn’t too important) to dash and fetch the door to greet whomever it be with a charming smile. Then again, she remembered that she had been privileged in her youth and knew not everyone had several maids and butlers at their disposal. After all, who’d be the butler’s butler? That thought made absolutely little to no sense to the lass; she discarding that notion as silly. No, not even a commoner could afford maids. This she realized throughout her years in Sky Reach public school, gasping for the first time she ever overheard that a classmate needed to automatically venture home and cook for her mother-less family of six while attempting to finish her homework. Oh, there were such poor souls whom dwelled within this world that it greatly depressed her indeed -- However as she continued to think about such facts, the steel door before her came swinging open, causing Elyisa to squeal in fright.
That was so sudden, the girl of Mary rose colored hair couldn’t predict the door to come blasting open so violently. With her knees still shaking she heard a voice ring throughout her head, a rather impolite and discourteous tone at that, inviting her inside. Elyisa nodded her head in agreement, lifting one of her feet so she could step through the door way, while her delicate fingers tenderly grasped at her pastel-blue dress. “Is everything alright? You don’t sound well.” The violet eyed girl asked, her lashes battering as she searched for the source of the words that had ordered her to come hither. Though those lovely orbs of hers widened in shocked as she saw an Alakazam standing within the darkness of the room. The mighty Psychic-Type was turned away, as if the light she had brought from the outside world would damage his eyes beyond repair. Though she didn’t know much about these creatures, especially when one got into the topic about the different species, so it might as well could. However the Alakazam continued on, instructing her that she needed to go find the professor of this lab herself, and how the tanned, spoon wielding creature could no longer take the volatility.
In puzzlement Elyisa tilted her head to the side while she opened her mouth to express how apologetic she was for disturbing the beast. Though just as a noise came from her parted lips, an elderly man stepped from the doorway, leading to another room within these quarters. The older one shot the teenager a grin, claiming that it was a glorious day outside to behold and even informed her of his surname and title. “Indeed it is Professor Mahoghany. Now if just everyone else believed that statement as well.” She spoke elegantly, making sure to enunciate every word clearly and at a pitch that be pleasant to the ears -- Her teacher while she was being home-schooled taught her how to communicate properly after all. While he spoke earlier, Elyisa took note of the chocolate hued gloves he tore from his hands, as well as the apron that he sat upon a desk close by. “You were gardening I see. I do hope it’s going quiet well. Your flowerboxes and their bounties you have out front look very lovely by the way.” She added after the professor had asked his assistant (as it seemed) to close the door that laid behind her now -- And unable to rebel, the Alakazam did so.
Darkness filled the room when the creature had shut the door, Elyisa feeling the tiny hairs upon her arms and neck taking stand. However she was thankful for when the sunlight once again washed over the room, thanks to Sir Mahoghany opening the drapes that she had noticed earlier while she lurked outside moments past. The future Trainer also swore that she could hear a hiss coming from somewhere in the room, causing the professor to speak up yet again. He told this Bill, undoubtedly the Alakazam, that they lived in this quaint cabin sized home, and not an eerie cave where things from nightmares dwelled. But in response another noise could be heard, the sound of a running tap, while a bottle of medication jiggled around causing the pills inside to dance. This brave soul jumped at this, raising a gloved hand adoring lace to her mouth just as the professor chimed in once more, returning the bunt of the humor. Bill as said, seemed to be allergic to bliss, which caused the girl's heart to drop slightly as she peered over at the Alakazam. “You poor, poor soul.”
Suddenly a blush came to the man's face, and with haste turned to Elyisa and apologized before darting out of the room to obtain a chair. This the young lady wouldn’t reject, and actually smiled at the offer -- Wishing to rest her feet as long as possible before heading out into the dreaded wilderness. So when the professor returned with the chair and sat it next to the girl, she simply thanked him for his kindness before having her buttock fall smoothly upon the seat. Continuing on in her grace, Elyisa pulled her bags from her back and side, as well as setting down her yet to be opened parasol with its ever cute blue charm handing from it. Though as she performed such actions, she was asked if she was at his lab to receive a Starter. Elyisa couldn’t lie about this, and nodded before finding it well enough to begin speaking; “Yes Sir. I was told by a dear friend that I needed to get a life, besides wasting my time next to a window in my bedroom. He told me that perhaps a field involving Pokemon would be the best for me and curing my case of loneliness. Have it be Trainer, Breeder, or Coordinator I haven’t determined yet, but it can’t hurt to try.”
[OOC; Excuse what, it was lovely! >=3]

(It was for the size--but thanks)The squeal had contributed to Bill's need for some medication. After all combined with the eye wrenching sun, and minor headache, a loud noise such as elysia's screech did not help matters. Normall he would hd said something cruel to the girl for screaming, but he truly did not feel like it. That took brain power, and at the moment his batteries were running low. Then the prissy little princess inquired to his state of health: "I have been better--but--then you--" Sighing he changed his mind: "I will be fine once the sun leaves me be." That was nothing like what he was originally going to say, but it would have to do.
Then the Alakazam departed from the conversation, and he didn't want to reenter with the two balls of light currently hovering about the room. Of curse the Professor was normal ,but anymore jovialty was more then he could take.
The Professor shrugged at the girl's statement, replying mostly to the second part: "Ah well--some people find days like this too bright, or too hot. I find them perfect for numerous reasons." One of them being gardening, and theo ther being the fact that all the baby Pokemon were allowed to frolick around outside instead of take their playbreaks indoors. Then she inquired as to his gardening habits. "Yes it is coming along fine thank you dear." The gratitude was both for her interest, and the compliment on his front flowerboxes. Not many people noticed them, most were to busy fretting voer what Pokemon to choose.
The Alakazam merely grunted at the girl's statement. After all he did not enjoy to be pitied, and coddled.
James stood behind the chair until the girl was situated. Both of his hands rested on the top, making sure it didn't spill the dainty young lady onto the floor in a heap of skirts, and bags. When she was finished he moved out from behind her, and began wlaking to the center of the room. "Sitting inside all day is not good for your social skills dear. I do say that your friend was right." Then he blinked, this girl had impeccable manners. It didn't seem that any amount of solitude would affect that. "Well for you I would say Breeder or Coordinator--they are not as dangerous as training, and likely fit your persona better." This girl was another who had just decided, and likely hadn't prepared at all. "Do you have any preferences for certain pokemon--or do you want me to explain the differences between trainer, coordinator and Breeders first?" No odubt he had a few pokemon in the storeroom that would be perfect for this young lass.
Bill peeked inside the room, grimaced, and walked towards the storage room. Which when not filled with ugly green Belair was actually quite roomy, and it was mercifully dark. Sitting down in the corner, he closed his eyes and laid back against the wall. Much better--and I can nap without some annpying teenager running in screaming: I WANNA POKEMON
