After leaving Pravus HQ, Lucas thought of a way to clear his head and try to go find Commander Moor. However, he couldn't come up with a single idea or conclusion. She was elusive, that Moor, and she was always on the move- as Commanders always are. He didn't envy her. In order to think of where she may be next, he decided to mobilize to the one place he could find solace, relaxation and rest.
Lucas and Din were in the very center of Moonbreeze Field. The Arcanine-Morph looked directly up at the moon, a glorious phase, showing it for all to see in its fullest glory. Knowing many innocents were in the vicinity, he and Din simply stood there, proving that their intent was not of a malicious one. The sweet scent of the grass against the wind and soil filled Lucas with a feeling of humbleness. Din sat there, radiating loyalty for the General.
"The calming feeling of being here.. It revitalizes the spirit and invigorates the mind." Din nodded in approval. <Yes.. It does feel that way. It's.. It's almost haunting.> He didn't feel like doing any missions. All he felt like doing was relaxing, which was truly rare, as his persona usually makes the belief that he never wants to do so- a stick in the mud, he was. However, this was one rare occasion.
Most of all, he wanted to concentrate. He had to find Commander Moor, and from many rumors and reports he got, she was apparently either incredibly loose, with a strange demeanor none had ever seen in a Commander, or a very strict one. He sat there, legs crossed like a pretzel, looking up at the moon still. The wafting grass moved ever so gently, leaning from the left, the right, all directions.
Ringing through Lucas's super-sensitive ears were the happiness and laughter of children, the pleasant and approving words of their parents, mostly, revelry in general. It was something he dearly missed. He played around with Din all the time, and enjoyed the company of his parents.
His friends around town would accompany him on every twist and turn, that is, until he fell down that very leap of fate into that pit. It all changed after he left- now he is much different. From boy to young man, an from man to an unnatural combination between Man and Pokemon.
Kids walked around, giggling at Lucas, asking their parents what he was. Clearly, he was an odd man. He the long hair, the orange skin, everything an Arcanine would be, except for the tail and facial features. To add, he looked like any Karate Man, or Crusher. Truly, he was a card. Luckily for him, he was thought to be any normal Pokemorph, not a high-standing member of Team Pravus.
When asked or told anything, even insulted, he said nothing, but blinked. He just store soullessly into the deep, tempting moon. He felt the moist soil of the turf, and felt like nothing in the absolutely expansive landscape, covered with docile Pokemon who had no mind on attacking anybody.
If I hadn't been picked up by Team Pravus that day.. It could have been much different, for better or worse. While I was treated like any nice person, I was also treated like a pawn. They experimented on me and everything. But, back there, it was great, too. My parents, they were caring... It's a shame they couldn't see me grow up. My dear friends, well, they should have forgotten me a long, long time ago. I still have my dear old Din, though, and that's all I may need for a long while. The Morph had a tiny, almost unnoticeable smirk on his face upon pondering that sentiment.
My travels may have been marred by that encounter, or it could have been made even better. I may never know- but hopefully, wherever I'm going to be headed now should be good. He didn't go up to find her, but instead, laid down on his back. He was immobilized by the moon's deep visage, and how tantalizing it was to see it. "After you are separated from nature for years..." Din looked at Lucas with attention. "You tend to forget its true beauty." <I concur, Lucas.>
