ok, i know you recently made a legendary cat pokemon competition feather, but what if we were to do a fortnightly competition for a new pokemon ( obviously not a legendary and bla bla bla... ) but every fortnight competition has to be different types pokemon to the last one, doesnt anyone think that should be a sollution to completing the remoor dex?
staff can arrange the prizes and what they are themselves.
what does everyone think?

That sounds good, but there are things like this already! There is one spriting contest going on right now! It has to be a dragon with feathers and has three evolutions!

Yea I agree, I'm not even having enough time to recolor hobbes sprites. I think maybe we should bring this up after the legendary spriting contest ends.

Didn't the legendary contest end months ago? And yes, to complete the dex would be nice, but as you can see right now, not many people use much of the pokemon that are in it.

A fortnight is too short for a contest like that. Ours go for a month. Spriters would understand, you need to get muse (which is a difficult thing) then you need to do the outline (takes a long time) and then shading and colouring can take an hour. In total, the process lasts for quite a long time. The muse part alone can take anywhere from a minute (unlikely) to a week or two (more likely). We do hold monthly spriting contests, which sometimes go for more then a month if we don't get enough entries in time. So, in effect, a fortnight seems unfeasible especially when we do the same thing at least once a month.

Eek, no! Shana pretty much summed it up. Holding a contest every two weeks wouldn't work so well. Not only would there not be enough time for everyone to make their entries, but the sheer number of them all will dilute spriters' interests in entering. They're like standardized tests and case burn-out if they're done too often.
