-----Legendary Pokemon-----
Name: [“Legendary”] Zapdos
Age: Ancient, Unknown
Gender: Male
Species: Zapdos
Sexuality: Bisexual but does not breed Personality:
- [Short Tempered]
Zapdos is extremely short-tempered. Don't get on his bad side or you just may be in for an electrocution. He will not hesitate to attack, be his target a pokemon or human, if the need to preserve himself should arise. Do NOT try to capture him; Zapdos hates that! Every trainer ever to throw a pokeball in his direction has been scarred and burned. The legendary bird certainly will not go down without a fight. He sees things out to the very end.
- [Solitary]
The electric/flying pokemon prefers to spend its days and nights alone. It's not one for socializing, in fact Zapdos has no idea what to do or say when with another. Though this could have been the result of his solitary nature anyway. If he is spoken to by another he will often only listen. If the man/woman/pokemon addressing him desires a reply they probably won't get one. The legendary will resort to ignoring the other and become irritated if he's not left alone.
However, if the pokemon should ever take a liking to a person or pokemon then he or she will find themselves being followed. Zapdos will fly high in the sky, hiding among clouds, and observe the life of the one he has taken a liking to. He is still awkward and will often resort to violence even if he has taken an interest in someone, which often ends in either a confused pokemon/trainer or a charred one.
- [Observant]
The pokemon may be solitary but as a result he has also become very observant. If he's not going to hang out with other people or pokemon then he might as well watch them hang out with each other. It's a sort of pastime. Usually the bird is happy soaring through the sky and creating powerful thunderstorms to practically live within but if he should ever grow tired of this he can always observe the daily lives of others unfold.
After many, many years of watching the world unfold the pokemon has gained some wisdom. It's not the type of wisdom one can find in a book. No. It's how everything works and how creatures and things react to one another. There is also another type of cleverness about him. One he seems to have been born with. It is an understanding of the planet and universe itself, though he has no idea how to get these thoughts out of his head. He can't put this otherworldly knowledge in words.
Physical Appearance: Zapdos is a rather large bird with yellow and black plumage. These feathers appear to be bolts of lightning and most fear they will be sharp to the touch. In actual fact they only appear this way because of all the conducted electricity flowing through them. If one were to stroke the feathers he or she would find that they are a little coarse, at most. The fact that the feathers make Zapdos look as if it is made of lightning causes some amount of pride in the creature. The tail feathers sticking out in all directions only add to this illusion.
There is a large crest of feathers around his head and black rings around his piercing eyes. His orange beak is very long and thin, probably long enough to peck something's eyes out while in mid-flight. His legs are the same color as his beak and equip with razor-sharp claws.
He is the smallest and lightest of the three legendary birds however he is still quite large. His size and weight allows him to easily perform quick and nimble maneuvers in the air.

Allegiance: Good [against Mewtwo and Team Pravus] History: Zapdos can't remember the earliest days. Only that they, too, were very quiet and solitary. Just how he likes it. Few pokemon from those days still remain today-- mostly the other four legendary birds; Articuno, Moltres, Ho-Oh, and Lugia. Sure he may have caught a glimpse of other creatures then that are still around today, like other legendaries, but they were also few and far between. The electric pokemon is best acquainted with the other ancient birds, which are supposedly his relatives.
He has spent his years watching the world grow and develop with the other legendary pokemon. Every now and again Zapdos would find himself protecting pokemon or humans from furious storms by conducting the electricity himself. The thing is the bird often causes these powerful storms anyway and so only feels it is his obligation to shield others from it. If at any time one tries to catch Zapdos he shows no mercy. He would, and still will, electrify him or her until they can no longer battle.
Zapdos lived within the thunderclouds in the sky. He would travel from region to region, and still does, usually hidden within one of these electrified clouds. An indication of his arrival to an area is one of these storms. They are often violet if not properly conducted by the bird's plumage.
When sleeping he liked to hide out in power plants, it's a habit he still gives in to. Zapdos wants to be sure that if suddenly attacked he has a good power supply close by to cause a lot of damage. However it is highly advised not to wake him, even if you do not desire catching the creature. Zapdos absolutely hates it when others interrupt his slumber.

It earns a approval from me--short and sweet but it gets out all that needs to be said.
