-----Character Application-----
Name: Don Vito Corleone, but everyone addresses him by his last name.
Age: 61 in human years
Gender: Male
Species: Duskull
Sexual Preference: Straight
Allegiance: The Duskull Mafia, The Wild Pack
Personality:
Don Corleone likes to think of himself as an independent, mentally strong and manipulative persona, not being far off from the reality. Vito likes bossing around, having gotten used to it during his time as a criminal. He is calm, cold and calculating. Don Corleone has never lost his temper, or at least shown it in any way. Not even a raised eyebrow. Of course, this works both ways. It is very hard to get a true smile out of Vito, squeeze a single tear from his huge, penetrating, purple eye, or even pity somebody. As sad as it is, the Duskull is devoid of almost all emotion, freezing the air around him with his cold attitude.
Above all, Don Corleone is a perfectionist, a pedant, always having to have everything in ideal order. The 'ideal' order, meaning his order. If there is one tiny mistake, one flaw upon anything that could disrupt his peace, heads will start flying. Any insubordinance, Vito deals with immediately, not allowing anyone to make more than one mistake under Don Corleone's command. Usually sinking the unfortunate fellow's feet in concrete, and throwing them down the endless abyss of the world of spirits; the Void.
One of the most important principals for Vito, is retribution. He believes in revenge like a religion. Any offence to him or his family, any slight insult, any affront Vito encounters, will result in a slow, painfull death on the offender's part, in the smallest of cases. However, as Don Corleone is also a Pokémon of honour, he would never capture his victim in the dead of night, or order assassins to the dirty work for him. He will always warn his target that he has wronged Vito, usually by having a Ponyta's head placed under their bed covers.
Physical Appearance:
For a Duskull, Don Corleone is fairly robust, meaning taller and broader that most of his lackies. Overall, however, he doesn't stand out in the crowd as much as he'd want. Maybe his skull is a bit whiter and more glossy than most, but that's only a manifestation of his higher birth. The rest of his body is of a very dark grey, nearly black, with a symbol of two crossed bones on his back. Therefore, as you can see, he isn't exactly that much different from other members of his family. Except, he is.
The one part of his body that stands out, is his single eye, hidden deep inside his skull. Whilst red and mean in all of his kind, Don Vito Corleone's is far more frightening. The orb bears a very pale hue of purple, so cold that he could freeze air with a simple glance. Penetrating, terribly so, able to pin anybody in place, drill a hole in them, and read their thoughts as easily as an open book. It is that quality, that makes his lackies as obedient as they are, ever fearful of his pale, purple eye.
History:
From the very moment he was born, baby Vito was always as cold and calm as he is now. He never shed a single tear, even when his father, the head of the Duskull mafia, was killed in a fight with some other lowly criminals. In fact, he took it so lightly, his mother wept for even longer, at the sad thought of her only child being devoid of all emotion. Then, she took her own life, but still, Vito stayed completely indifferent.
After he became a teenager, brought up by the whole mafia, he was more or less ready to finally take control over it. To be honest, he was probably fit for the position even as a baby, with his calculating mind and strict rules. It's just that the rest of the mafia were not. They couldn't bear the thought of a baby Duskull that could still potentially wet itself, although that never happened to Vito, tell them what to do. Once he did take his rightful seat as the chief of the criminal group, however, all those who would 'know better', were dealt with shortly in his favourite way: feet in concrete and down you go.
Don Corleone has strengthened his, along with the Duskull mafia's, rule over the course of an impressive fifty years, which is very long for a leader of a professional criminal group. Usually, mafia bosses were assassinated after about a few years, but the problem with Vito's death, was that the assassins plainly feared him. They feared his pale eye, to be more precise. Of course, there were a few attempts, but with all of the so-called 'claws for hire' ending up smeared across the whole of Remoor, they eventually gave up.
Now, the thing is, Don Vito Corleone, despite what it might seem, did not particularly like his life. Of course, it had its thrills and moments of sheer exhilaration after a number of successful actions, but Vito longed for his peace. His own, private little peace. So, he killed himself. He traditionally sunk his own feet, or whatever he has that serve as them, in concrete, and threw himself over the edge of the Void.
Except, he didn't.
Going back a few days, Don Vito Corleone was silently drifting across the halls of his mansion. It used to belong to a very rich family, but, you see, they went mad. Started raving on about a fictional 'army of ghosts' that was haunting their house. So, they left to live in a house with white walls and no door handles, their estate now inhabited by the Duskull mafia.
Anyway, back to the story.
As he was floating across the many halls of the Duskull mansion, his attention was caught by a child's voice, coming from one of the deserted rooms. As he drifted through the door, he saw a girl Duskull sitting on the floor, playing with some Pokémon dolls. With a corner of his eye, he noticed a toy Duskull, laying discarded and completely abandoned, behind a dusty sofa. The moment he picked it up, an idea arose in his head.
Next week, everything was ready. For the whole plan to be effective, he had to pretend to be very upset, which wasn't very hard. He just levitated around, head down and ignoring other Duskull, so that they get the impression of Vito being the most distraught Pokémon ever. After he managed that, it was just a matter of causing a commotion, creating an illusion of himself dipping his feet in concrete, and later replacing it with the Duskull doll after he threw 'himself' off. Then, all it took, was to disappear. Not exactly hard for a ghost Pokémon.
Don Vito Corleone never returned to his band of criminals, and never got to know what had happened to them after his pretended death. He has, however, heard of a gang of Sableyes growing more prominent in the Duskull area. Oh well.
