Upon seeing her fright Deidra chuckled, although since she was hidden in te bushes then, it was not likely that Bree had noticed. To her it was hilarious watching her vicious little pet scaring someone else--the faces they made always drew a smile to her face.
"Better to be Sandy then a paitned porcelain doll." Deidra replied with a smirk, leaning against a tree trunk, reaching up into her hair, she twined a piece around her index finger, and stared at Bree. Boredom evident in her face, then again that might just be how she looked. Blowing a bubble from the gum in her mouth--she stared at the other girl through lidded blue eyes.
Then she felt a manicured hand smack into her face, the force sent her gum flying out of her mouth, and left a dark red mark on her face. Snorting she turned to stare at Bree, surprise barely registering on her face. Blinking she shook her head: "Whether I pamper my Pokemon or not is none of your business. Besides a few untreated scratches make them stronger. It's nto anything serious--my pokemon are man enough not to be treated for a pulled nail!" She growled back. Then smiled: "Glid is on his leash for a reason--if I let him off his leash he'd rip your face off." Tutting she patted the Spearow, shaking the Pidgey in the cage as she did so.
Glad that the stupid girl had accepted her rules, she opened the cage. "Get going you--aand I will keep you safe fro mGlid tonight." With a shy the Pidgey took to the air, looking at the world through only one eye.
The Totodile jumped forward, and attempted to scratch the fanatic Spearow, but Glid merely stayed put, and dove at the ugly thing. The Pidgey had rose into the air and with a loud "PIDG!" dropped like an air bomb toward the small blue Crocodile.
Deidra smiled. "Don't feel good about your pampered pet hitting Glid. He refuses to dodge--so only a blind idiot would miss him." The girl stated, hopefully stealing whatever thudner the girl thought she deserved. Then she imitated her "hee hee hee" from earlier. The dainty laugh sounding completely wrong coming from the bulky Deidra's body.
Watching as the girl pulled out her Pokedex she shook her head: "You use one of those idiotic trash pieces?" It was rhetorical, and it required no response from the other trainer. "Another Professor's Arm member--HAH!" Deidra sneered. The Professor was a cray old coot who believed in treating pokemon like family--but frankly who would want to be treated like Deidra treated hers?

"Painted porcelain doll? I assure you I'm not dressed like that. Now don't you ever mention that again, tramp. These clothes were my very own mothers." she huffed, a single tear forming below the lid of her eye. She saw Deidra snorting with the slap she had given her. She thought Deidra was going to iht back, but she didn't. Bree had developed a bond of hate in the space of 2 minutes, that was a record... for her.
Excuse me, Sandy... Every pokemon should be pampered like yourse-. She was cut short by herself. She couldn't say like yourself to her, because she was just as bad. "Look, Woman, when... if I beat you, I'm turning you in to authorities and Office Jenny will deal with you. I am going to do everything in my power to give Glid and your Pidgey to a loving, kind trainer unlike you."
Bree wondered why Glid had dodged Totodile's attack, but it was explained well by Deidra after he had given Aqua a full blow. Pidgey then practically body slammed Aqua from above. <Sorry shorty, your going to have to step it up a notch!> Aqua sneered, excited almost to battle at last. Who was this trainer though. How did she obtain her first pokemon in that state, did she beat the pokemon to get it? Everyone knows you need one pokemon to catch another.
Perhaps her parents were like her too. Maybe she was raised like this, to become the monster she is. The poor girl. If only she had been properly raised by a decent family. But what if she was a member of that team pravus thing Bree had heard about? What if she is faking all this to test any passer by rookie. Maybe she wants to kidnap Bree when she beats her, or maybe hold her hostage until they get what they want.
Bree snorted after Deidra made a remark about James. "I'll tell you, Jame's is a wonderful man, and no words of negatism should be said about him. He's never done anything bad, so how can you say that. Why do you like living this horrible state of a lifestyle like you do? Do you have problems at home? No pokemon deserve to be treated like this." she said, knowing that slapping her or raising her voice to her would only make things worse.
"Are you ready Aqua? Can you use your scratch attack on Glid for me? she asked. Of course it was pretty much the onlt thing her dear pokemon could do thats physical. <Totodile! Toto!> he barked. Bree was thinking back to the encounter with the Spearow twins. They were like charades players to her. And for the few signals she understood, she remembered them somewhat signalling the other path. Could it be that Totodile wasn't listening, or that she refused to follow their directions?

"Tramp--is that really the best you can do--Well she gave them to you because of the fact that they are really ugly, and completely out of style. Doll." Deidra stated, her comments meant to bite and sting, like a swarm of tiny hungry gnats. A smirk curled the top of her lip, and her posture was in itself that of a bully .After all most bullies like hangimg around corners, arms folded over their chests, with a downright haughty look on their face. Why hadn't she hit the girl back? Well it was no fun knocking out an oppenent that you didn't even care to fight. "Crying like a baby--I hurt your feeligns?" She growled, upon noticing the wet trail on Bree's cheek. Really this girl was going to be no fun!
"Bah. I have not abused them--and it is the same regimen as my uncle--who is a flying type gym leader--uses to train his pokemon. Besides Glid would eat any whimpy trainer who tried to touch him." As if confirming the fact the Spearow dove toward Bree's face again, only to be whistled away by his trainer. "So go ahead--after I win, you'll be reporting to the Pokemo ncenter--" Rolling her eyes she turned back toward the battle. "Again...Tackle and Peck." This was so dull.
Glid didn't say anything, but just luanched himself in another series of pecks at Aqua's face.
The Pidgey sighed, shaking his head. Then he tried to ram his head into the small of the Totodile's back.
"James is a sucker--I am surprsed he hasn't been robbed yet--te only one worth squat there is Bill. At least he is not an idiot. No I do not have problems at home--and unless you're my counselor you shouldn't care. So shut up about my pokemon and worry about your own!" Deidra finished with a barely suppressed yawn, she ssounded like the school counselor. Deidra wasn't aprt of pravus, but she would probably be whenever her stupid protective parents let her leave for her journey.
The Totodile's scratch scraped across the Spearow's breat, but he seemed to ignore the pain, and kept right on trying to hit the Totodile with his beak. <Glid will win! Hehe0---and if not Glid gets to play with Tarro hehe.> Judging by the tone it was obvious that "play" was not fun for whoever this "Tarro" was.
The Pidgey shivered at the mention of his name, even though the sweeling, and puss around his eye was sore he attacked with tackle again. After all he really didn't want to lose--Playing with Glid was not fun.

Bree only smiled after Deidra replied with another remark. She laughed as she curled her lips with satifactory. "Your so pathetic you don't even know it. I'm glad that satisfies you that you offended me. What you don't realise is the sky's the limit. That's the best your ever gonna get. You offend people and that gives you great satifactory. So enjoy it while you can." she laughs.
Any other comments that she uttered were waved off by Bree. Bree now knew the different personalities of trainers. She expected everything to be all hunky dorey and she also expected nice friendly fights, this- sadly was not the case. Aqua was now hit with both a peck and a tackle and sneered grossly. Perhaps the pair lose their elegant, and polite manners when they were in battle.
<You think your so tough, Glid, but I can see past you. Your just a bitchy slapper wanting to jump about like a spoink.> Aqua snorted. "And as for you, Tarro, your afraid of this piece of scum? Why be afraid of her? You can do better.> the Totodile explained, calmer than to the Spearow. She turned her attention to Bree, waiting for a command for a move, waiting to show these flying furballs who's boss.
"Aqua, use your scratch attack again! On Glid!" she ordered. Obviously the girl had limited options. It was the only physical move her Totodile had at the moment. Shortly however, the Totodile will have learned water gun. Until then, scratch would have to do. <Dile Dile!> Aqua grunted, then digged her claws into Spearow's body.
Venturing out in these wild plains can be hard work when your trying to maintain a nice appearance, and sometimes doing so can become rather uncomfortable. Bree just decided to let go for once. The hair she had that was nicely put in place, she now frizzed up and messed about for comfort. The shoes she once had, were replaced with trekking boots.
Once she gets her hands on a scissors, her dress will be more up to date and adventure worthy. No matter what her Mum thought of the dress. This trainer has some problems. Maybe she should go to some mental rehabilitation center or something. She can't care for them pokémon let alone herself. Bree thought to herself.

"I always will enjoy making fun of others and watching them bawl--so is it as pathetic as you enjoying baking and knitting?" Deidra sneered, laughing at the girl's attempt at a insult. Really she was made to be a housewife--not a bully, Bree should keep her day job. Pursing her lips she waved away whatever comments the idiotic goody goody had. "Now please shut up so I can see the show!" Of course ti seemed Bree had the same idea, and Deidra didn't take so calmly to being dismissed. "Please--you can't even shush me properly." Reaxching out her left hand, she stuck up her middle finger, and narrowed her eyes at the other trainer.
The battle would show who was better.
Both pokemon smashed into the Totodile. Taro had the decency to offer up an apology: <Sorry--Aqua..right?> He murmured, a glare fro mGlid silencing him. The Spearow did not reply to the taunt--it seemed his insanity was so high that he had no temper to boil. Taro mumbled something like: <You have never been locked in a cage at his mercy..see how you like it.> That scar closing his eye was caused by Glid's "tender" loving care. Stiffening he threw himself at Aqua once again.
Glid took this hit across the beak, but took no heed of it. There was a slight change in his breathing, but little else to indicate he was in a battle. Driving his beak downward he tried to peck the Totodile once again. It was obvious he didn't even care about disengaging his harmed body from the sharp claws of the Totodile. His red breast was soaked with diried blood, along qith quite a bit of fresh. There was no knowing how much of it belonged to his poor teammate.
Deidra reahced into her bag and pulled out a sandwich. Stuffing it into her mouth she preceded to ignore the battle. After all--it was the same until someone lost. With Glid's determnation, she really would bet it was the pampered little Totodile.

Bree only turned her head when the tramp stuck up her middle finger. She had anough of her stupid fun and games. It was time to be a lady, and not lose her confidence of being it to her, even if she was a doll in disguise. Bree didn't even look like she did since she left the pokemon lab. Lately, she has twigs in her hair, fatigue in her eyes, mud on her clothes, and aching muscles everywhere.
Of course she was made to be a housewife. She would be a perfect wife for anybody, for the chores at least. Perhaps in any husbands eyes, she was a maid, or a servant. <I guess you don't like being with the Spearow and the tramp then, do you? Don't worry, when we beat that bitch of a woman, I'll make sure we find proper loving trainers for you to bunk with, or if you'd rather, you could come with us, if Bree wants you to that is.> Aqua said.
The Totodile sprung out of the way and dodged the Spearow's peck attack. She was hit by Pidgey's blow, but it didn't do much. In repition, Totodile- on auto-pilot used scratch on Glid once again. She predicted Bree's command. The first reason was because the only physical move Aqua knew currently was Scratch. Second was because Bree wanted to get rid of the seemingly toughest of the two birds first.
Totodile yet again sprung to the Spearow and digged his sharp claws into the back of Glid. According to Deidra, the two birds were half Aqua's level, which would be 2 or 3. But what if she was lying, considering she didn't even know Aqua's level. How could she predict such a thing? Unless she knew Bree has been in the lab, or maybe she was watching Bree the whole time.

The girl turning away caused a smile to form on Deidra's face. It was quirwe obvious who had won the argument--seeing as the other competitor was too wimpy to continue, and risk another stinging insult--the flying type trainer won by default. Of course with such a dull oppenet , it really wasn't that surprising. Leaning back, she took another bite from her sandwich. Unlike Bree--she didn't consider talking with your mouth full rude, so if there was a taunt, it would be replied to. A shower of mayonaise, lunchmeat, and lettuce acting as accompanient to the cruel words.
The Pidgey nodded. But he shook his head at the second part. <She'll get Glid to rip me uo if you do tha--> The Spearow growled upon hearing his name called, and fixed a wild eyed stare on the whimpy Pidgey. Then he resumed pecking at the Totodile. <PECK PECKY! FUN FUN! Glid is gonna win against you doll!> The thing did seem to be able to string together small coherent sentences. Which was a new development.
"Less chatting Taro--more beating." With a hesitant Sigh the Pidgey flapepd up into the air, and dropped like a stone toward Aqua. His eye hurt--his wings whurt, his shoulders were probably bruised--what with all the hard things he kept taclking into--he was in a world of pain right now.
Once again the Totodile's claws sank in, viciously deep. The flying type did have a reaction this time, stepping backwards, he pulled tem out with a "SLICK" blood spraying all over the forest floor . <DIE!> With a loud screech the tired Spearow threw himself at the Totodile, scratching, and biting where he saw fit. It was oddd that he had not once taken to the sky..but to him that was more then a bit cowardly.

<She won't if I can help it> Aqua snorted in reply to Tarro. Then Glid began his vicious attitudes again. Aqua ignored it, and began speaking again <.. but If you really want to travel with a tramp and her carnivorous beast of a bird, then so be it.> Aqua sneered. The Pidgey, who was harmed yet not even touched by Aqua yet dropped like a boulder towards Aqua.
Aqua took the attack this time, not caring much about the damage it may cause. Aqua was almost deafened then by outburst Glid had made. With a sigh, the water croc dodged the attack and rebounded at it with a scratch attack, hoping to get this to be a final blast. After all, since the battle started Aqua has only ever gone for Glid. The Pidgey could be dealt with later.

<Can being the key word.> The Pidgey whispered anonymously, it seemed he wasn't even willing to try. After all, his trainer held a prison more definite then any wooden barred cage, she held his soul in that little red ball on her belt. <I don't want to..> Unless Bree and Aqua were not adverse to stealing, his trianer could call him back whenever she liked. It would be a hellish life, and he would always be looking around, wodnering when she would decide to spring the prison cell on him. Oh how wonderful it would be to break the control, and get rid of the Pokeball. But it was out of reach from his cag--
The brown eyed bird paused, and stopped attacking for a minute. How genius!
"TACKLE TARO!" His trainerr shrieked, and the Pidgey nodded his head. Climbing into the air he dropep like a rock toward Aqua, and at the last minute swerved, heading toward the belt around his slim trainer's waist.
The Totodile hit again, and lashing out one mroe time with his beak, the Spearow fell forward, and landed on the Totodile's shoulder. A series of gasping coughs coming from his beaks, and soon he was out, snuffed like a candle, blood dribbled from his chest to the ground, and he still breathed. That was one half of the problem it seemed--
There was a shrill shriek, and Deidra began swinging her arms about her head, lashing out randomly at the bird divebombing at her. Dodging one hand he dove toward her belt, his good eye doing the best it ould--but not enough it seemed. Due to the large gap in his vision, the girl had ample oppurtunity to clip him over the head with her fist. "et off of me you ungrateful cur!" She screeched, and instantly saw his aim, as he clumsily dove under another strike.
Ah.
