((OOC: Alrighty, thanks Jam! <3))
Hessa watched Joel climb the hill and tree again, allowing her expression to go blank. Just what was wrong with this guy? He was trying to end his life, wasn't he!? When he fell she narrowed her eyes. It was like watching a newborn lamb trying to do something it was not yet strong enough to do. As he lay there, on the ground, Raptor's pokeball was somehow opened and out came the Totodile. Hessa moved closer to the younger male once again and looked down with those narrowed eyes. She was clearly not impressed with his seemingly powerful desire to injure himself. Joel looked at everyone, sat up, opened his bag to retrieve a drink of bottled water, and greeted the older boy. When he explained something about his nature to Hessa she ignored him and instead chose to comment on his intelligents again, "Gods, you're stupid," she nodded, talking in a 'yeah, duh' type of tone, "That would probably be a good idea. Maybe the nurse there could give you a place to rest... But I'm NOT carrying you."
Raptor was very upset. The poor little pokemon was in tears. Hessa stuck her nose up to the side when Joel attempted to get up to comfort him. She did this so as to appear she didn't care. When he failed and fell he called his pokemon over, earning a six second look from the female. She opened a single eye and looked down at him through the corner of it before closing her eyelid again. Stupid, stupid boy. The Spearow hopped over to inspect Joel too, once again scanning his body for any broken bones or other serious injuries. When he found no damage of that level he felt relieved and moved closer to Hessa, <He really should have taken his own health into account.>
Then, something so very awkward for Hessa happened; Joel and Raptor had a moment. Hessa forced herself to keep her eyes closed with her and nose pointed sideways to the sky. She didn't really have anything against their little moment, she just felt totally out of place. However the awkwardness only got worse when he asked if he could travel with her. Not only that but Akuma-- she had taken note of his name when he introduced himself to Joel-- agreed. She looked down at the boy with a mix of a frustrated face and a surprised one again and hesitated to answer. What if having him around the whole time made her want to kill him? If he constantly pulled stunts like this, even though he said he wouldn't, she'd probably end up strangling him the death.
She gritted her teeth and looked away once more, "Alright, fine!" Hessa began moving away, the little Spearow right behind her. She wanted to look for more wild pokemon. The girl pretended that he was a nuisance but she really wouldn't mind having someone to talk to... however for his own safety, "Though if Akuma would like to join us too I think it would be a good idea," she stopped and looked back at the male and his purple pokemon, "You know, to keep me from murdering Joel. It's your choice," then she was off to search behind bushes and within grass for more wild creatures she could capture to keep herself busy.

Joel looked the other way. "Malice can only hide fear. Fear is the wielder of what leads to one's downfall. You'd be much better-advised if you showed no malice. I don't value disrespect." Joel stood up, talking, actually, like much more of a wise man. Had the bump on his head changed him? He picked Raptor up and put him on his head, like he had always. He decided. "I would go pretty far for that Dia.. but, I give up on it. Too elusive." He shrugged, and looked at Akuma. "My words to you, well..." He grinned, rubbing his chin. "I may be stupid, but to the very least, I'm not dumb."
He started to say this, this single thing to both Hessa and Akuma. "And to avoid further stumbles, and to avoid the fear of Hessa strangling me to death, I promise, nay, I vow it not to happen again. I take an oath." He held his fist against his chest. Then, Joel turned into a zombie- once more. He just stood there with blank eyes. His mind was still being rewired after that tremendous, incredulous fall. His eyes had no pupils in them.
He shook his head. "Bleh!" He stomped on the ground to regain himself. "Okay. Akuma, you heard Hessa's proposition. So, will you join us in exploring Remoor?" He held out his hand in a hand-shake, much like how he introduced himself to both Hessa and Oak. "We would be honored if you could join us." If there were background music, the Imperial March would be blared right up. Well, I'm sure I made SOME sort of friendly progress with her. At least.. that's what I think. And this Akuma character..
Joel examined Akuma's looks for a bit. Well, he certainly can't be that bad of a guy. Sure, he's a bit toned out on grammar, but other than that, he doesn't seem to have bad intentions. I'd have to commentate on his taste, however. Joel continued to speculate. I believe Vhenkil Town's up next, which is good. I can get my clothes washed, heal up my wounds, and I may as well also wash myself.
Raptor, meanwhile, was following Hessa with curiosity. <H-Hessa?> He looked up, not knowing that she couldn't understand him. <I'.. I'm sorry about Joel. It's probably my fault he's like this.. In fact.. I'm sure that it was, because then he wouldn't be out there...> His brimming eyes were gleaming in the small sunset that was happening. It was around 5:45 or so. If anything, it could make the cruelest of hearts show sympathy for the Big Jaw Pokemon's eyes. Basically, he really was what you would call cute.
On the other side, Joel was still thinking. "You know, I'm sure I can cross paths with a Dia one day. Maybe, maybe not. Only time can tell." He continued to hold out his hand, and wait for Akuma to reply, or not. I must have looked like a total a-hole out there... Even worse, I was around poor Hessa.
I probably made Hessa look like a total a-hole out there, and that's a conduct I won't be able to approve of. I've got to make it up to her, but how? I could give her some sort of gift.. but that Spearow was gift enough. ...Hm... this is very difficult. I wonder what she would like.. I bet I can get someone to tell me, if not, then her. He looked up. The sun was no longer smiling down today.
While he continued to look stoic, he looked at awe at the clouds. "The sky we're in.. it's so limited, isn't it? It's like we're being domed within a tiny glass box, as we, little proportional ants of the occupancy in Earth.. The rent we need to pay is enormous. We desire so much to reach for the clouds, we develop ideas. These ideas may not always work, but at least they can be brave and reach for the sky."
He was only explaining something to Akuma. "It makes you feel like an insignificant speck. We could be in an entire world of worlds, and not know it. Do you feel the same, Akuma? You, Fuu?" While he was explaining the feeling of claustrophobia in this single world, he was sure that it would confuse him, perhaps the least bit. Raptor, continuing to look at Hessa with his shining eyes, also had the same cloud envy Joel so enjoyed. ..Well, not really close to the same. I'm so afraid.. What... What if something from t he sky attacks? What if the sky.. He thought with a gasp. FALLS?! Of course, he would be wrong, but he wouldn't know any better, anyway.

"True." Was the only thing Akuma said, after Joel had his comment on his stupidity. Akuma let out a muffled laugh as this Hessa charecter had tried to act like she didn't care the whole time through his explanation of his 'nature' and their moment. Then his face went blank at her proposition. "So what be the middle man?" He questioned, with a bit of a smirk. He took note of Joel hand, before blinking. "So, do you think we should follow along?" He looked down at his pokemon. Fuusen took a second, before nodding a bit eagerly. He smiled at his pokemon, before hearing Joel go on about the limits of the sky. Akuma chuckled lightly. "You sound more like a philosopher than an kid." He said, before taking Joel's hand. "So I guess I'm stuck with you two. Fun." He joked, receiving a soft look from Fuu. <Meanie..> She mumbled, holding onto his jacket while being red. Akuma smiled simply before letting go of the boy's hand.
Strange traveling with two kids younger than him, but it was nice to have company. Fuusen thought so too. "I dunno. Maybe we can prove that we're not just specks on this big world. Plus," he turned his gaze to Joel, who seemed to think things in such a big manner, "we should worry about you, rather than everything outside the world." He gave Joel a soft look. Fuu floated from Akuma's arms, to by Hessa, hoping to see some wild pokemon perhaps. Akuma began to converse about how to get him to town, and if he would be alright, and she knew it wouldn't involve her.
Plick Plick
<Huh?> The little pokemon questioned. Three of them she could tell. A group of Nidoran had waddled their way over to the area. It was the season for them right? The biggest one eyed them. <Eh? What we got here?> It spoke in a bit of a tough guy tone, looking straight at Fuusen. The other two who had been picking berries also looked that way. <Haha! We gots a girlie.> The 'leader' laughed, followed by it's comrade's smirks. <Wha-? Oh um!> She looked around panicked as Hessa was now gone. The leader laughed again. <We won't hurt 'cha.> The panic increased as they came closer. She quickly rushed over back to the route and almost flew into Akuma. "H-hey!" he gasped, surprised by her rampage. She clutched close to him as rustling from the bushes could be heard. His silver eyes went over to the three Nidoran's purple colors, as they had smirks, that slowly faded into surprised and a bit frightened looks, as they looked at Joel and Akuma. <T-trainers!> They all stuttered. Not only were the group of Nidorans there, but something else.
It fluttered it's wings softly, keeping a deep gaze at all of the people. <Never seen so much excitement here before.> A snort followed. <If those bozo's are here, no doubt there's trouble. Their in our turf though.> A thrid voice followed. <So what do we do about them boss?> It seemed more timid and childish than the other two. <What else? Get rid of them damned Nidorans. They know better then to cross our turf.> It was obvious by their cries. They were the rare pokemon that crossed the lands. It was a group of Dia's, and boy as hell they didn't look happy. The biggest one, refered to as 'Boss' fluttered down. <You guys!> He screeched. The three, now turned their terrified looks to the birds. <Wah! It's him!!> They all cried in unison. <Damn right it is. What the hell do you think your doing in our turf!> He yelled, eyes glaring at the group, shortly followed by his lackey and the little one who looked the lease threatining. They all shrinked back, the two pushing the bigger one forward. <Wha? 'Um..uhh...noth-run!> They all sprinted their purple bums out of the way. Fuusen blinked as the biggest Dia looked at her. <You okay?> His voice was rough, but showed a little concern, before his eyes met Akuma's, then it was a full glare. <F-fine..> she said softly, as Akuma shot the look back. The leader snorted. <Good.>
It was like, a gang war or something. Fuusen thought to herself.

Malice? She wasn't acting malicious, was she? Well, maybe a little. It was because she had only met the boy that day and he had beaten her in a battle. Not only that but Joel proceeded to worry her. Seriously! Would this guy ever give her a break if he went with her? Well she figured that they were probably going in the same direction and perhaps she'd get used to his ways eventually. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
The female continued her search through the foliage for wild pokemon that she could catch with her new Spearow assisting her. The little bird was staying close by but peering into smaller, less obvious places to help. With their combined efforts they were bound to find something. It didn't take long for Hessa to take note of tiny footsteps coming up behind her, ones that did not sound like the hopping of her new pokemon. She turned and looked down to see what it could be and saw a Totodile. Raptor. He was saying something to her in a language she couldn't yet understand but someone she knew it had something to do with his trainer. She gave him a soft smile and knelt down to pat the crocodile's head. Her way of saying she would be fine and that she wasn't really all that angry… right at that moment. She thought that the Totodile was, perhaps, just a little cute with those big eyes, shining in the light of the sun.
Gently she removed her gloved hand, smiling at Raptor the whole time to be sure he understood that she wasn't mad anymore. She got back to her feet and continued her search. Soon she was joined by that balloon pokemon as well. She figured this was a good opportunity to use her pokedex on it. She withdrew the device from a pocket, flicked it open, and pointed it at Fuu to record.
A drifloon... she read the name given to her by the pokedex in her thoughts, "A ghost and flying type, huh? Pretty cool," While she was at it she also read information from the Totodile and Spearow. Apparently this bird pokemon knew three attacks so far; Peck, Growl, and Leer. Not bad... Now finished with reading the information of the three pokemon she smiled at them before going back to her search. She didn't mind the drifloon looking with her. In fact she felt it would be very helpful.
When she and the Spearow moved on to a new section of grass they didn't notice the drifloon had failed to follow. They personally hadn't found any pokemon but did hear the surprised sound of Akuma in the distance. Three Nidoran males were chasing the drifloon back to the two trainers. Were they going to fight?
Hessa put both hands on her head in astonishment, "Aw, no way!" she sprinted to where the others were currently gathered with her Spearow taking flight in order to keep up. Maybe she could catch one of those pokemon! Once within attacking distance she stopped with her legs far enough apart for good balance. However just as she got there the three purple creatures took off into the grass once more. She would have went after them but the sight before her was much more interesting.
Dias. Three of them.
The girl was totally amazed. The rarest pokemon on the route and she was seeing three of them at the same time. Hae, too, was astounded. He had only seen such pokemon once in his entire life and now he was witnessing a group of them! A group! As in, more than one!
And that meant... Hessa had a chance to catch one too! Not only Joel! So did Akuma if he so desired. The girl chose to act quickly, fearing they would fly away if she did not, "Spearow!" she did not have a name for him yet, that would come when she thought up a good one, "Use Leer and then follow up with a Peck!" she pointed at the Dia that seemed a little more childish compared to the other two. It was the smallest. She went after that one because she wanted to be careful. After losing to Joel Hess didn't feel ready to have her new pokemon companion fight the stronger ones.
<Okay.> he responded as he moved forward and narrowed his eyes dangerously at the wild pokemon. They glinted in the sun, creating a sort of scary look. It was a move that affected a whole group, not just a single pokemon. So with luck all three of the Dias would lose some defense. Once the bird was satisfied, sure that at least his target had seen the move, he charged in for a Peck attack. He tried to maneuver around so he could deliver the blow to a critical place. He flew close above, trying to hit the Dia's head, back, or wings. Hae was doing his best to be careful of the other two birds. Hopefully the other two trainers would assist him by keeping the other Dias away.
The trainer felt tense. This was probably a once-in-a-lifetime chance! She had to succeed.

Joel stepped on both of his legs. He was at disbelief as to what happened. The Nidoran made Joel feel strange. They just rushed in, making the air feel slightly uncomfortable. Perhaps it was the poisonous atmosphere the Nidoran bring with them- they were given the Poison Point ability, after all. He hid his Poke-Dex in his pocket, picking up their data with just one hand. Immediately, he felt a breeze. Air suddenly came in- only from the rushes of the wingspan left by the great birds capable of invisibility.
He was taken aback. Was something stirring? Was it getting closer, no matter how far they would run? Leaves rustled in, and immediately, the smell came to him. It was the scent of a bird. "Impossible." Of all of the people here, he could probably feel the flapping, gentle wind brushing through his cheeks the most. Was it his major anticipation? What was wrong?
Three Dia fluttered down (Yes, I don't use S for Dia in my plurals. Get that out of here.) Joel's eyes flashed. They widened. In every sense of the matter, he was shocked out of his mind. He just said that it had to be a pipe dream- near impossible to happen. But it did, and he was wrong. While he, himself could not hear them and their language, he knew that immediately they had a bone to pick with the Nidoran.
It got even more evident as they split quickly, running as fast as they could away. Truly, these majestic creatures could scare any one person away, and they must have had a great, or infamous reputation among other Pokemon in the route. The boss, or rather, the largest one, seemed to be walking towards Fuu most of all. Heheh.. I wonder how that will turn out?
Raptor, on the other hand, felt incredible happiness. He was given about the same affection that Joel gave him. She took off her rough glove to show a sign of trust, that he wouldn't do anything bad. Immediately, he noticed he was alone. Supposedly, he was in a dreamy state. He ran back to Joel, Hessa, Akuma, and the rest. W-what's she running to?[/color]
Joel was still filled with some awe. This was.. at best, one of the rarest things that happened to me. He also felt intense irony- the very thing that he wanted to search for, was walking- nay, flying right up to him. Then, he noticed Hessa giving Hae a command to begin a fight, so abruptly, at that. "No. This is a once in a lifetime chance." Joel walked right up to Hessa during the battle, but making sure not to intervene.
"I won't interfere, but I think you're making a mistake. "These Dia, they're rare and elusive. In the remainder of my life, I may never see one again. However, the same is for you. Attacking immediately may not be the best idea." Holding in the Poke-Dex in his pocket once more, he picked up the Dia's data. "They become invisible in order to avoid trouble. If that's possible, I'd definitely keep it in my psychological conscience to say that's going to cause trouble." He shrugged. "However, do what you want." He left her to do battle with the Dia.
Raptor came in, watching the battle. He didn't talk- he was so surprised, and scared. They were.. Big. And mean. These Pokemon are definitely things that Raptor wouldn't want to find hanging in a dark alley.. if they had dark allies anywhere around here. Upon further inspection, though, he saw that they couldn't possibly be that bad. "No, Raptor, please don't attack." He crouched down to the one that seemed a bit more docile, not the big boss, but instead, the one with a slightly different crest on its head. It seemed to appear female, at least, that was what it was to him.
Raptor held back, and Joel looked at the possibly female Dia with approving eyes. "Hi." He put his hands down, and looked quite gentle in this way. "I'm, yes, by everybody's impression, a trainer." He expected SOMEBODY to roll their eyes around. I've got to make peace if I want to make a good first impression. "And, you know, if I came up to you, I would PROBABLY want to capture you. I don't mean any harm."
He blinked for a bit second, Raptor following close behind and sitting. He was far away from Hessa's forced battle against the Dia. "So, I might give you a choice. You can either battle me, and we'll see who's formidable, or we can discuss it. I can't exactly understand your language, but I bet Raptor here can interpret by acting, exactly what you mean to say." Raptor nodded. <H-H-Hi there.>
Joel looked over at the boss. "You'd accept this, right, Matriarch?" By Matriarch, he obviously meant the believed father, or boss, of the three Dia. "You'd let me try and catch your friend here? I can give her the best benefits- yes, benefits. She can build a bond, get stronger, and maybe even get famous as I try. We could travel, and everything. Maybe you can get caught, too."
I probably made a real big mistake here. They wouldn't accept me now... well, maybe. Hopefully not. Joel kept his smile.

Their eyes met and sparks seemed to fly between her silver eyes trainer and the black ones of the biggest Dia. <Oh my..> She couldn't finish for the other trainers seemed to be completely surprised by this 'sudden' appearance of this gang of Dia. Not one, but three seem to have appeared to them. For what reason? To scare those nasty Nidoran away. For that Fuusen was thankful. But now...maybe not so much. "What the hell is his problem." Akuma muttered. "I look at him and he looks like he's hated me my whole life." Fuu laughed nervously. <Um..I dunno..> She didn't. Perhaps being wild meant you didn't like trainers. She wasn't wild, so she didn't know. Her eyes went to the girl, Hessa, who had dashed over here shortly after she ran from the Nidorans, then commanded Hae to attack. <Um, wait-> But Joel began to talk to her. A once in a life time chance? She looked at the Dia, black and orange, they seemed to blend with the background as day became night, and the orange glow of the sun, began to set over the horizon. Pretty scene, but that wasn't what Fuu was concentrating on. The biggest one, made eye contact with her for a second, and he seemed a lot softer than how he looked at Akuma. Huh? She thought, eyes a bit wide as they went back to their stare down. Oh gosh..
The little one had eyes widen with surprise as the Spearow came to attack. The follower, now seen as a female, jumped infront of the little one and then slammed the bird in a tackle upwards. She felt his beak smash into her head, but it was going to take a lot more than that to take her down. <Ah!> The smallest yelled, as the female landed. When she spoke, it was a harsh tone, yet very feminine. <Nice try.> She snorted. They weren't about to hit her little brother... She flicked her head sideways to the boy. He looked so friendly and cheerful, just what she didn't like. She rolled her eyes at his obvious statement but listened on. No harm? What would you call trying to hurt her brother be? Her harsh look faded at the Totodile. <Hello.> she said firmly, but warmly, but a small fit of laughter took over. <Hear that Matriarch? The boy wants to capture me.> She was making fun of him, like she always did. The biggest one snorted. <Like I care.> In truth he did. The eldest of the sibling ment he took care of everyone, mostly his little brother, but this guy. His eyes went back to the silver haired trainer. He really pissed him off.
<In truth I would prefer to talk, rather than battle.> Her voice was calm, and almost motherly. Raptor? Was that his name? Well if it was or not she hoped he could interpret that. While the smallest one shrunk back. Both of his older siblings were busy, but that Spearow tried to attack him! What was he suppose to do? He knew his sister couldn't defend him forever, and he had never battled before! He was really scared at this point. <P-please..I don't want to f-fight!> He said to the girl with the bird. <I-I-I'm not good at fighting!> His fear seemed to increase as his brother had hopped closer to the oldest trainer.
This fear also passed through Fuu. <P-please don't fight!> She said, waving her arms at the two glaring each other down. If you looked close enough, you could see lightning pass between them. <Ahh..> She said, sighing in defeat. She couldn't get past these two knuckle brains. It seemed that Hessa was trying to catch the smaller one, and Joel, the female. Oh, that left the big one. Yay. Joy. Happiness. She hung her head down. Oh man..this won't be good. "I don't get it. You see me and you glare at me. I know you must hate trainers, but why galre at me?" Akuma said. The Dia snorted. <Your the eldest. I gotta hate you.> That makes, no sense, whatsoever. Fuu thought a bit confused with a little annoyance. The Dia then eyed the others. He knew they were going to be caught, so what point to fight? Plus he didn't want to hurt Fuu, she looked to delicate to fight. His deep black eyes showed with less hate, and more of a 'go ahead, I give up' look. More than anything he cared for his family. But, he'd rather see them be caught before he was. He hobbled over to Akuma, who looked a bit confused by now, and watched his family. His sister who was talking with the boy, and now his little brother who began to converse with the girl. Strange. He hoped this would work out for him and his family. <Um, mister..> Fuu began. <Don't have a name.> He said bluntly. <Oh..> Fuu said softly, but if she remebered correctly, didn't that girl call him 'Boss'? <Is it okay if I call you Ontai?> His eyes met hers. <Ontai?> He questioned, confusion shown in his eyes. He saw the small smile on the Drifloon's face. <Alright.> He said, before looking back to his family.
<You care for them. Is that why you won't fight?> He gave her a simple nod. A wonder how she could tell. <Well, Akuma's really nice and stuff. Plus all of us travel together. Perhaps you would like to come?> Her smile was soft, as she looked at the biggest one with excited eyes. The silence was killing, as Akuma knew what Fuu was asking, just by her look and the Dia's silence. "Don't worry. It's not all bad. Trust me, the things you hear about trainer's aren't true." He knew wild pokemon thought trainers were bad, but in reality they weren't. Some were, those who sought nothing but to gain strength and win, than rather take time with their pokemon. A simple nod, thats all he gave to the pair, as he watched his family with anticipating eyes.

((OOC: Fine! Geez, Joel! xD *isn't actually angry*))
Hessa was already so determined and the fight had only just begun. Even when Joel went up to her she refused to remove her gaze from the fight. She wanted to catch that pokemon so, so very badly. He was under the impression that Hessa was making a 'big mistake.' Yeah right! What was he going to do? Talk one of them into a pokeball? Apparently they were able to go invisible if the situation required them to do so. She hadn't thought about that, Hessa was so caught up in the moment of getting one before it flew away. Whatever. Her new Spearow should be able to keep up with the smallest one, who she assumed to be the weakest, because if she remembered correctly they did not attain amazing speed until they evolved. At their current stage of evolution another bird, such as Hessa's new pokemon, should have been able to keep up.
Unfortunately the Spearow's attack had never made contact with the target. When he was about to use Peck the medium-sized Dia got in the way and defended him. Hae hit her instead and swooped around to the side in order to move away. He wanted to get a better look at what was going on. The female out of the three Dia protected the little one before conversing with Joel and Raptor. The small one appeared frightened so Hessa's desire to fight faded. Hae moved next to her, flying at the height of her shoulder, and tilted his head inquisitively, <Hessa sent me to attack because she wishes to capture you.> he spoke with gentleness, realizing the little one was afraid, <Of course capture seems like such a harsh word. To put it more accurately she wants to take you with her across Remoor. You see, she's still a new trainer and thought that attacking you as soon as possible was the wisest choice. I, myself, only met her today but I can sense no malice within her intentions.> He looked at Hessa, who looked stared back at him with an expression of utter confusion. She had no clue what he was saying, <Perhaps you'd like to join us willingly? Maybe the two Dia accompanying you will come along as well.> He was attempting to persuade the other bird for his new trainer, who still stared blankly at the two of them.
Hessa took note of the fearful state the Dia was in, "Um... sorry? I somehow assumed a rare pokemon would be more aggressive, I suppose," she rubbed the back of her head awkwardly but refused to take her eyes off of the little blank and orange bird, "If you're willing to come with me then we don't have to fight..."
Gee, this was weird for Hessa. Could it be that today she would receive two pokemon without the need to fight them? Wow, some people she knew who talked about pokemon training had to weaken all of their wild encounters before a forceful capture. So either the pokemon she had met today were special acceptations or she had been horribly misinformed.

Joel was ignorant to the rest of the action that was taking place. Finally, at least Hessa realizes that brute strength and force isn't the way to go, especially in a situation such as this. Rolling his eyes, he sat at attention to what the Dia said- no, chirped. Well, whatever he'd like to consider it. Meanwhile, Raptor was just nodding. <Hi.> He sat alongside Joel. <I guess you don't wanna fight, so I.. I could try to get Joel to find out, I suppose.> He also listened to the tone of voice. <A-And I'm guessing you don't think Joel's act is really that convincing?>
Walking over to Joel, Raptor tried to act out what the idea was. He acted out some fighting animation, and then shook his head, apparently signifying that there was no intent towards fighting or anything like that. Another thing was, he tried to giggle, smile, and look friendly. He put his hand over his neck like a 'cut it out' motion. He then tried to act casual, like any normal Pokemon or person would act. "I see. So, what you're saying is, Dia, you don't have any intent to fight either, and apparently, you don't exactly like my act?"
Joel sighed with relief. "Good, that's out of the way." His eyes became back to his normal, dull-like expression. He listened to what Akuma said about how Trainers were. "He's right. We're not the kind of people to just take and take and take, then abuse Pokemon constantly. Well, at least, us." Raptor listened to Joel's idea of a trainer. "There are many different preferences for Trainers. Travelling, collecting, and fighting." He shrugged. "Me, well, I just like to travel. Perhaps I could receive data on the Pokemon in this region, but first priority would be traveling. If you enjoy fighting, I could encourage you to do so. We could try challenging the Remoor League."
Joel looked pretty lenient at that glance, in fact, he looked like he was just a simple person- not a trainer. "That is, if you approve. I won't stand in your way if you don't want to be caught, especially since you seem pretty tight with your.." He eyed the two other Dia, noticing their crests were the same. "Brothers, I suppose." Raptor was trying to do some convincing of his own.
<Y-You know, w..we're going to travel with each other. Joel and the other two are going together, so you can still be with your brothers... A-and I'm sure that there are lots more things to see if we just traveled together. Maybe.. Maybe you might even find out some new things..> Raptor, while reluctant, was still trying to talk his best to convince the Dia into coming along with them.
Joel sat, listening to Raptor's words and attempts to convince the Dia to come with them, yet unable to even fathom what they're trying to say. Please don't mess up, Raptor.. I already gave up the Spearow- what was his name, Hae? Yes, that's right. And, he seems like a great Spearow, perhaps intellectual, perhaps formidable. He was on pins and needles, even if it were just pleasant conversation.
<W-what do you think? Joel has treated me very well, and..> He looked down for a second. <I'm.. well, I'm kind of a scaredy-cat.. but Joel is helping me out to get a bit more.. cou...rageous?> Apparently, he had hardly the meaning of the word courage. <Back in the lab I was, he picked me.. even while all the other Pokemon looked really good.. a better choice than me..> Raptor's eyes were filled with disdain. <But.. I'm happy with Joel.>
Joel chuckled a bit. "But, like I said, choose what you want. And, just so I can save you the anger, I won't pull any 'nice guy' act again around you anymore. I'll treat you casually, and try my best to be a good- no, great trainer." He lost his idea of astonishment. If he found them, he found them. If they came to him, well, he was enormously lucky.
If I can't have her, well, I guess that I'm going to have to widen my search. There are many more Pokemon in this region, this species is just one of them.

The little one's eyes went from wide and completely frightened, to a more calm, but still alert look. <Capture?> He whispered to himself. His eyes went to his brother, now closer to the boy who had once been glaring at him. The smaller one just turned his head as the Spearow spoke in a gentle tone. The littlest one loved to travel! He and his family usually stayed close to the route to protect their territory, and his sense of curiosity always wanted to know what else was out there! He felt excited, even at the mention that his family would come along! He loved his family, because when their parents died, his big brother took over like a father, and his sister a mother. He was protected, being fairly small and young, from anyone dangerous, like those Nidorans who nudged their horned heads into everything. <Traveling would be nice..> He said ever so softly. He looked over to his older sister, who met his gaze. <Do what you think is best for yourself...> Her words were tender and motherly. For myself... <I-I..> He began. <I wanna come!> He practically yelled. He felt a boost of confidence, deciding for himself, as his older brother huffed as a sign of slight laugher. Now all that was left was his sister.
Her eyes flashed as the Totodile spoke. She liked him. He was like her little brother. She laughed softly. <No I would prefer not to fight. But Joel..Interesting name..> Her eyes went to the boy. <I don't like fake cheeriness. But I don't think you all are bad trainers. But we Dia are known to be invisible in times where their are trainers. I was just afraid my brother might object. Though he seems to be taking to that older boy, and that cute little balloon pokemon. Fuu I think it was?> She looked over to the group for a second, before meeting the boy's dull gaze. Remoor League? <I do enjoy battles though don't prefer them if their unnecessary like this. I am more civil than that mind you.> Her eyes showed a small sense of enjoyment in talking with this boy.
The Totodile spoke again. <I do care for my family. We're the only thing each of us has. It would be tragic to lose one another.> She then giggled at the Totodile. So he was a lab pokemon eh? So that meant this guy was only a beginner. <Well, it does seem to me that you are happy, and I'm glad to see your becoming more courageous. Maybe you can teach my brother something like that, so that he can become more courageous too.> Her eyes went to Joel. <Please don't.> She said referring to the 'nice guy' thing. <But, it does seem like fun, and my brother seem to agree.> She was reffering to the yell her younger brother gave. <Very well. I will have to come, to make sure that you keep your word about trainers not being 'bad'.> She was kidding though, as shown by her kind eyes.
<Well. I suppose that settles it. Stuck with this lump and those kids.> Ontai sighed. Fuu giggled. <Don't worry, it will be fun!> She felt confident, with strong people like Akuma, Hessa, Joel, and Ontai by her side. Not to mention the other pokemon as well she could converse with. It shone in her eyes as the final shine of sun fell over the grass covered land. <"Nice ending huh?"> Both Akuma and Ontai muttered. Like a fairy tale ending. Fuu giggled to herself in Akuma's arms. "Perhaps we should go before it gets cold and we end up dying from starvation." They couldn't feed everyone here! <Hmph.> Ontai said, before having a pokeball thrown at him, falling to the ground, and flashing.
Ping Ping Ping
The red light faded, and Akuma bent down to pick up the pokeball. "Welcome to the team Ontai.." He said. Things had seemed to quiet down on the route, as night fell and pokemon fell asleep. Some of the nocturnal pokemon came alive. The end of the day, and a fun day it was.

((OOC: I guess I'll take Hessa's Dia over now.))
Hessa couldn't help but grin at the youngest Dia's reaction. He had practically yelled something out in the pokemon language, suddenly looking confidant with whatever it was he had said. That looked like a 'yes' to her! Just to be sure she looked towards her Spearow who looked back, nodding once to indicate that the other bird wished to go with her. Quickly she felt in her pockets for her pokeballs, only to find they weren’t there. Ahh, how could she have left them in her bag!? Motioning at her two birds to wait a moment she jogged over to the discarded red and black backpack and unzipped a side-pocket. The trainer confidently withdrew a hand-full of pokeballs, six of them, and dropped four into a pocket of her cargo pants. She held on to two for her new pokemon and allowed the other five to remain in the bag.
Slinging the pack over her shoulders she returned to the two waiting pokemon. The Spearow and Dia landed on the ground and gazed up at her. They looked... comfortable with what they were doing. The trainer kneeled down and pushed the button on each pokeball, resizing them to their larger state. Her grin faded to a softer smile while she observed the two before her, thinking of names. She looked at the older bird, "I think I'll name you 'Haru,'" earning an approved cry from him. Then her gaze moved to the black bird, "And I think the name 'Keeran' would suit you very well," again she got a pleased sound out of her pokemon.
With the names decided Hessa gently pushed the button of each pokeball on a pokemon, allowing the storage devices to take them inside. Haru went in with three 'pings' and red lights before the pokeball fell silent. Keeran managed to create one.
Quite happy with the day's events the girl got to her feet, minimized the pokeballs, and attached them to her belt alongside Drea's. There, three pokemon on her first day. Not bad! Hessa turned to look at the others with a hand on each strap of her backpack and a smile on her face. She caught Akuma mention that they should be on their way sense it was getting late. She nodded, "Yeah, we probably should," she looked at the tall grass, which dominated the area, "I am kind of hungry."
"Oh!" she reached into a pocket of her pants and withdrew her camera, "Sorry, but it has to be done! I hope you don't mind," she snapped a picture of Joel, Akuma, and the pokemon. The lighting was beautiful for the photo; it created a calming effect when one gazed at it. She assumed that the others wouldn't care though if they did she supposed she could just delete the picture. However she would probably just get another one when they weren't looking. Satisfied with the picture she placed the camera back into her pocket. A picture to signal the end of a pretty good day... well, subtracting the part where Joel decided to almost kill himself. Other than that little event an ideal day for a beginning trainer it was.
{Pokeball Count = 11 – 2 = 9}

Joel received a response he was wanting- one that showed approval for being captured. "Perfect. Now we can travel. I'll call you.. Hinawa. Yes, Hinawa. Seems like a good name for a mother-like Dia like you." Hinawa simply ruffled her feathers and made a.. rather, beak-made smile. <Oh..> Joel lightly tossed a Poke-Ball from his belt at Hinawa, and she was drawn in by the enigmatic red light that it is so well-known for. Upon three twitches, the button on the Ball showed an affirming green light, signifying that Hinawa was successfully caught.
Instead of filling to the brim with excitement, Joel chuckled, and held his hand out. The ball flew upwards and drew itself into his hand, and he minimized it. Putting it in his belt, he thought for a second. "No.. I'll let her out." He decided to have a second familiar, now that he has both Hinawa and Raptor. He took it back from his belt, pressing the button to enlarging it, thus making a mechanical noise. Pressing it down on the ground, Hinawa was sent out. <Huh?>
"Come on, you're gonna follow me like Raptor is." <Ah, I see.> She fluttered up to Joel's shoulder and perched her miniature talons on his shoulder. "Perfect!" Raptor was hopping with optimism. <Great! Now we can travel together!> With Raptor on foot, and Hinawa on.. shoulder, Joel finally felt a bit more complete. He started to walk towards the sunset, and then to Vhenkil. "Come on, everybody. Don't just stand there."
It's ironic, really. Everybody doubted me, and I guess I gave up hope, too. But now, here they are. He felt the fresh soil on his feet, and smelled the wind against the grass, releasing a nice aromatic air the area over. Hearing the cries of the nocturnal Pokemon in the vicinity, he stepped forward. Hopefully Ontai and.. Keeran are okay in those strange devices. It felt cooped up in there.
He stopped to stand and look at the sunset from a hill, not only looking forward at glamor, but to wait for Akuma and Hessa to get to him. "I wonder.. Will I get to look like a view such as this again? ..I wouldn't very much be able to wait." The sun was slowly departing, and you could only see an edge of it before the sky highlighted a very faded moon, purple clouds and the orange remnant of the sun's light. Raptor and Hinawa looked ahead, yet unlike Raptor and Joel, Hinawa was not in awe. Surely a Pokemon as traveled as she would have seen this scene numerous times before- it's not the most exciting thing if you've seen it for days in a row.
"Hessa, Akuma, you guys were right. I was acting like a fool back there. It won't happen again, but that's not going to erase any memory of the occasion." He looked at his broken watch. "Yeah.. that's right." He looked at his dirty clothes- they were in good condition, he could just use the washing machine in the Pokemon Center. Hessa, my friend, you may have won over the hearts of 2 wonderful Pokemon, but I've won over much more. Two victories, one Pokemon just as wonderful, and the ability to be considered legally insane, or for that matter, masochistic.
..Wait, that's not very good at all. Well, at least we can share this view, if you were to come up. He was thinking this as something to say, but it would be too blunt for him. "I'm hungry, too. Wonder what they have at the Center.. and if they still offer shower and laundromat service 24 hours a day, not like that last Pokemon Center I passed before." He cracked his knuckles, which felt sore from the two falls. "I could also use a good rest. My entire body is aching, but I guess that happens when you fall from a 20-or-so foot tree twice." Stretching his arms out in a yawn, he signaled for them to follow him off to Vhenkil. He referred to his map. "We shouldn't be that far- maybe a couple of yards." He saw the town's fullest through the path. Hopefully, they're following Joel. "Alright, guys, I think I found town."
